Green Curry Chicken
Aki I.

I love Green Curry with Chicken. That's one of my favorite Thai dishes. This place has really really good Green Curry with Chicken!!! I highly recommend it!! (I don't order it too spicy because green curry already comes with some spiciness even if it's mild...for those who never tried it before...just a heads up). The Thai Iced Tea with boba here is so good. The boba is nice and soft. Perfect! This is one of my favorite Thai places in town. Definitely recommend this place!

12/18/23 - Lunch Special Yellow Curry with Fried Tofu $11.95

We were in the area for lunch and OnZon Thai Cuisine offered lunch specials! It is a small restaurant that does have restrooms available for customers. (You do need to walk through the kitchen to access it.) We ordered two lunch specials to share: * Yellow Curry with Fried Tofu $11.95 * Red Curry with Fried Tofu $11.95 I really appreciated that they brought over three bowls of soup despite us only ordering two lunch specials and being a party of three. We thought the curries were pretty flavorful and we all enjoyed it. We even had leftovers despite us sharing. Overall, we have a good experience. They were pleasant and the food was good.

Green Curry (layer of oil...)
Yun-Wen L.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 - ordered a Green Curry with pork and a Thai Garlic with chicken based on recommendation. Both dishes had a layer of oil on it that made it quite queasy. The chicken was bone dry and tasted heavily of soy sauce even with some chunks of garlic and dried. We still don't know what straw mushrooms are since there wasn't any in the Thai Garlic dish. While the curry seemed like it would have been good, the oil just coated our mouths so we couldn't really taste the curry nor the coconut milk in the dish. The most disappointing part was that the rice wasn't even cooked well! Service: 5/5 - slight language difficulty but quick service Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go. Seems like a cozy cafe with great lighting from the windows. Value for price: 2/5 - a cheaper Thai restaurant but not worth it for the food. We're quite disappointed especially after reading all the rave reviews on this place.

Basil Eggplant with chicken

Just happened to pop in this place when I was in the neighborhood and the chef greeted me upon entering. The server was also very nice and very helpful. Prices were reasonable for how fresh the ingredients were and also a very decent size portion.. ordered the chicken, eggplant, basil, one spicy level eight to dine in and one spicy level five to go from my father and both were very enjoyable. Pretty small dining area, but I was the only person that was at a table. I did see a couple go orders being taken out and then two ladies happen to show up for their tie, Tuesday date, and talk to them for a little bit and they highly recommended this place as well and said it's a hidden gem which it is.. flavors were very fresh and wonderful and chicken was gamey and lots of basil and fresh veggies

Decided to try takeout from a different Thai restaurant that I haven't tried before. I ordered massaman curry with fried rice and beef pad thai for pick up. I arrived at the restaurant off Decatur blvd. It's located in small plaza behind McDonald's. You can't miss the bright restaurant sign. The restaurant is pretty small and probably cannot handle big dine in crowds at all. But I believe this is what they were going for. My food was ready in a timely manner. I got home and tried both dishes. My tastebuds were very pleased. The pad Thai was very flavorful, moist and nicely seasoned. Even though I asked for mild spice for my pad Thai, it was more on the sweeter side taste wise. The massaman curry was really delicious. Nice mix of ingredients, flavor and spice. Definitely will be ordering from here again and trying other dishes on their menu. Overall, I give the food a 4.5/5. If you're looking for a new Thai take-out spot, look no further. Of note, the prices were very reasonable too.

Pad Thai with Tofu
Jon V.

Food: Authentic: one sure way to find out if it is by trying the signature ethnic dish of Pad Thai and Thai Jerky. The Pad Thai was exactly how it should be made; not dry or soggy. It tasted delicious with tasty flavor and spices. The noodles were well cooked mixed with bean sprouts. To keep simple, I had it with tofu to give me a chance to taste the overall flavor. Then the rest of the flavors from the cooking of curry, you can't go wrong with jasmine rice. Service: friendly owner Ambience: small compacted place for dine in. If you don't want to cook after work, order ahead and have it To Go. Still tastes delicious. Overall: if you like spiciness, you can go from 1-10 levels. I recommend go east on the spices at level 5 and enhance your dish with the chili flakes, chili paste, and jalapeños on the side provided at the table.

Looks can be deceiving on the outside, but what a cute hidden gem! Felt like I was back in a lil family-owned spot in Thailand or the Philippines. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Satay, the BBQ Chicken, and the Yellow Curry w/ Chicken. All were delicious! For a drink we had the Blue Hawaii Italian Soda, which was a bit overpriced, but it was good. The service was awesome! A nice lady greeted us as we entered, and continually made sure we had everything we needed. FYI, there is no public restroom, as the only restroom is for employees in the kitchen. And it's very small on the inside, so plan ahead if you're in a large group. For good Thai food in this part of town, I recommend.

Pad Thai

Great value! Food tastes really good 10/10. Pad Thai with tofu is perfectly balanced and the tofu is fried really good. Wish they put more peanuts tho. Pad see ew is out of this world, sauce is perfect and I love the amount of veggies in it. Mango sticky rice was mid honestly wouldn't recommend. The sauce for the rice was too sweet and the rice itself had a wood-y taste. Love how much mango they put tho! Service is amazing they're extremely nice and super chill vibes in here. Great place to eat, chat, and just vibe :)

Today we had a wonderful Surprise to be lucky to find this cute place for lunch. Parking directly in front ! The Service and Food were Excellent! I called ahead to see if there was space for 2 people , and luckily there were two tables left, when we arrived. . We had a nice coconut soup , the beef satay and, Beef & Chinese Broccoli with wide noodles, and the soft spring rolls . Everything was elegantly displayed, well prepared and authentic Thai Food. I enquired if she planned to add fish cakes to the memu , and she explain she cooks them on the dinner menu .

A little small Thai restaurant hidden in the back of McDonalds and Walgreens. I sat in the back corner and got served right away. I ordered the Thai Basil lunch special. Got the pork option. It comes with soup, salad, and chicken wonton. The soup came first and it was nice and hot. Then the main plate with entree, salad and wontons. The wontons were dried and hard and there was hardly any meat inside. The salad was pretty straghtforward. The best part was the pork basil that came in a bowl. I suggest spreading out the rice and just pour the pork basil over it. Then mix it up and enjoy. Although this wasn't the best Thai restaurant on my list, yet for a quick bite and fast service, I'd come here again since the lunch price was pretty reasonable.

Update after the show: The food was great overall, and we…read morereally loved the vibe and energy from everyone there. The comedy lineup was amazing and honestly made the whole experience so fun and memorable. Even though they forgot one of our food orders and no water was served to our table or follow-up was made to check if we needed anything afterwards, we still had a really good time because the atmosphere and performances were enjoyable. The reason I removed one star was not because of the comedians or the show itself, but due to an uncomfortable interaction regarding one of the tickets. Another group of BTS fans had an extra ticket they couldn't use, so they kindly gave it to my cousin rather than letting it go to waste. While I completely understand if the policy did not allow the extra ticket to be honored, the situation could have been handled more respectfully. Unfortunately, the Filipino lady working there (possibly a server or owner, though I'm not entirely sure) made us feel as though we were not being truthful about where the ticket came from, even after we explained that it had been given to us by another group who could not use it. A little more understanding and professionalism in that interaction would have made the experience much better overall. Before the show: Love the whole atmosphere and the food options , not to mention they did a remix of food choices so nothing can go wrong. Service was quick in the beginning and they were able to accommodate our group so quickly. I'll update more because we are about to watch the show that came with our bts ticket . It was around $40 for early bird and comes with drink and appetizer which is great deal and a show now that's a deal we can't miss!!

Walked in to a Bob Marley "Waiting in Vain" cover and already knew the atmosphere was gonna be solid. Didn't even realize they had Filipino dishes on the menu so we had to try the pork sisig. As a Filipino, I'd say it was good, just a little sweeter and heavier on the mayo than what I'm used to, but still enjoyable. We got Combo 1 with 1lb shrimp and 1/2lb crab legs in the signature Cajun medium sauce plus a side of the Cajun coconut sauce. The Cajun coconut was easily the winner for me, actually so good. Shrimp was a little overcooked and harder to peel, but overall still hit the spot. Added one of each add-on too. For starters, the chili BBQ seasoned fries instantly reminded me of Potato Corner, so now I know where to fix that craving late night. The ceviche was also surprisingly one of the better ones I've had, super flavorful and a solid portion for 2 people. Drinks were the lychee margarita and passion fruit margarita, both really good. Only downside was the drinks took a while and we had to remind our waitress since our food came out before they did. Overall though, the atmosphere, music, food variety, and late night vibe definitely made this place worth it. Would come back again!

We didn't get a chance to visit the last as there was so many concert going on the strip and traffic was a bitch. Monday night thinking that it'll be pretty easy to get a table. Famous last word as it was BUSY. There's a good amount of parking in the lot. That strip mall looks a bit deceiving as all the front doors are covered up and looks closed. Guess that's for the heat. Anyway, when we arrived there was about 8 people in line. There's no one there to mentioned to put your name on the list which was there. That shows how busy it was. Everyone working was trying to accommodate everyone. Even putting our name down for 3 people, it was about a 45 minute wait for a Monday early evening. There was a 2 big group that's probably why tables were being utilized. After they finished, it did move more smoothly with seating people. But there was about 20 people that was waiting around for their name to be called. I think about 8 did end up just leaving as it was quite a wait. Anyway, after we finally got seated, they did upgrade their menu. Food, pretty much everything you would expect at a Thai restaurant. Loads of options to choose from. Even with it being packed, the ladies were all very sweet taking care of everyone. Not a Thai tea lover as I don't like having anything sweet to drink so went with a regular ice tea, plain. Food, you have to have the papaya salad. They have both the classic Thai style and Laos style. Slightly different just with the fermented fish sauce. We added shrimp to it. They have a spice level from 1-5. We went with 3 but when we received it, it wasn't too spicy. Still delicious and a good portion with loads of shrimp. Entrees, the pork belly curry which was a first time trying. The curry was very flavorful and delicious and topped it off with fried pork belly. The crunchiness soaking up the curry was perfect with the steamed rice. Also the duo of pork belly and bbq pork with rice dish. Simple yet so good with the sweet and spicy dipping sauce with cucumber and hard boil egg. Lastly, the boat noodles. Anywhere that offers it I'm going to try. And I've had some bad dishes. This on the other hand, amazing. The broth was nice and thick. Served with loads of meat and Chinese broccoli. Accompanied by bean sprouts, Thai basil and dried pork skin. It was amazing and very filling. The food is alway delicious and very flavorful. It does get busy which means sometimes for them. Sometimes you want to gate keep, but it's also nice to share.
