It was hard to take phot of the good food because we were on the go but it's important to give this place its flowers. Now I am not from the south but I love the art of BBQ and smelling the smoker and seeing the pit master at work is always a nice touch. The place is teeny so it's ideal to order ahead to speed up the process. They are in the lakes hidden on your right if you're headed towards the 215 on lake mead. The ribs were juicy but Smokey and tender, the cornbread disappeared so fast I barely got a nibble in but man what a nibble I tell ya. The Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts were my favorite side dishes. Vast array of meat selections for your group.

Biscuits and gray. Comes with fried eggs on top but I asked for them on the side.

Stopped in for biscuits and gravy this morning which was great. We sat outside and the smell of the brisket cooking was amazing. We may have to come back to try that! They have a small outside dining area and seem to mostly be a takeout restaurant.

Wild Fig is lowkey one of the best brunch spots I've been to in a minute. They start you off with this free cantaloupe juice and I'm telling you right now... that stuff is basically crack. Cold, fresh, just sweet enough I would pull up just for that alone. I got the biscuits and gravy with eggs on top and it did not miss. Biscuits were soft, gravy was thick and flavorful, eggs cooked right! Whole thing was just solid comfort food. Spot has a chill vibe, service was on point, nothing felt rushed. Definitely coming back. And yeah... I'm getting that juice again

Picnic tables are great for BBQ.

I moved from Chicago to Las Vegas recently. Was wondering if I was going to ever find excellent barbecue here. I'm here to tell you that Wild Fig BBQ is amazing world-class barbecue. The first sign of a good barbecue is that it's just an inconspicuous barbecue place and wild fig is no exception. It's on the side of a reception hall. When I pulled into the parking lot, I knew something special was going to happen. I saw the smoker. A huge 500 gallon beast. Later, I learned that they have 1000 gallon beast in the fenced off area right next to the 500 gallon beast. I could smell barbecue when I walked in the door. And that's a good thing. The people before me ordered their dinner and the owner asked what I wanted to eat and then he said turkey? I said oh no is that all you have left. And he said yes. That's all we have left. So I ordered the one meat combo with turkey and green chili as my side. It came with a piece of homemade cornbread and homemade pickles. I chose the orange chipotle barbecue sauce on the side. Several other people walked in behind me and they all had to order turkey. When they called my name, I took my order outside and sat on the picnic table (another great sign of a great barbecue place). I opened up my dinner and the smell was intoxicating. Let's start with a turkey. Tender and juicy and moist. The hint of barbecue smoke was just amazing. It was probably one of the best smoked turkeys I've ever had in my life. And I've had a lot of smoked turkey. I've even judged smoked turkey in competitions. This was amazing. I dipped the turkey into the orange chipotle, barbecue sauce, and was amazed at the delicious combination of orange and chipotle. Sweet and spicy just hit the spot. It was perfect with the turkey. The homemade pickles and homemade cornbread were delightful. Pickles were crunchy and cornbread was soft and moist and so tasty. I then got to try their house-made pastrami. Along with house-made mustard. So tender and juicy. I was ecstatic to find this type of pastrami available so close to where I'm living. I was also able to test a short rib and a slice of brisket along with their spicy sauce. I will definitely be a regular here and will invite all my friends.

Some of the best barbecue in the city with a catch. This is a review I have struggled with for a little while mainly because I am very conflicted by this spot. I will start with the good, I have been here 3 or 4 times since finding out about it, and I can say when you come on a good day, it's possibly the best barbecued meat you can get in this city. However with that being said, it does seem to be somewhat inconsistent, some visits the meat was perfect, then the next time it was dry and not so impressive. So your experience may vary. We have tried most of the side options between everyone, and I will say they are all pretty decent, and some just okay, none were overly exceptional. The mac n cheese, fries, and potato salad are good, with the corn salad being my least favorite. The real reason to come here is the meat. We all thought the little cornbread/muffins and sauces were pretty damn good though. Where things take a fair turn for the worse, is unfortunately the price and how they structure their combos. The 3 meat combo starts at $36+tax which already stings, but what makes it even worse is that they up-charge for 5 out of the 8 available meat options. I dont like that practice at all, the price should encompass all available options aside from maybe 1 or 2 special offerings. When comparing wild fig to what would be in my opinion their strongest competitor here in vegas we will use the 3 meat combo (Pulled pork, brisket, turkey) which comes to a staggering $45.52 including tax. The competitor comes in at $31.42 for almost the exact same plate which is a roughly 45% increase. Price is subjective and when you're in the ranks of the best in town, I suppose you can charge whatever you like, but it's also fair for consumers to compare you against the other options. The service has always been excellent, the owners have stopped by our table to check in almost every time we have been there, which is something I can appreciate. In summary, this spot is definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of bbq and can swallow the pill of the price. I have been debating 3 or 4 stars, due to the consistency issues and pricing. I settled on 4 because it's local owned, and the owner/s have always went out of their way to check on all the guests. If they could tighten up the consistency, implement a price structure that makes sense, and put a little bit more into the sides, this spot could easily claim the title of best bbq spot in vegas.

The food was unbelievably great, the staff was awesome and plenty of gluten free options on top of it all. The Pit master even took time to show us around. Truly a gem of Las Vegas

1 meat 1 side combo (but the side is not shown in the image). A corn muffin, pickles, and sauce are also included in the combo. Burnt ends were very tender and flavorful. I chose Brussel sprouts as the side. Brisket is still my #1, burnt ends following closely at #2. All delicious.

My favorite bbq place in town (much better than john mull in my opinion with shorter wait). Good price and good portion. It's a take out restaurant but there's sitting area outdoor. Staff are friendly overall, though they can get a little tense during busy time on weekend. Make sure to get habanero bbq sauce if you like spicy. Perfect balance of spicy and sweet.

I have been hearing about the good food here and I ordered online for pick up on a Sunday . The location might seem strange at first since it seems like you are going into a gated neighborhood but it's a spacious business center. The location is small but if you order ahead and just pick up it's better than waiting in a line . The bbq was amazing and the employees were so friendly . We really enjoyed the food and will be coming back another time.

Our 2nd visit here and it was just as good as we remembered! I love how they give everyone a complementary beverage (last time it was melon juice and this time hot chocolate). The food is delicious. The brisket & pulled pork were tender and juicy, which pairs perfectly with the fried egg for a yummy breakfast. Every staff member greets you with a smile & seems to truly love their job. There is such a positive energy there & you immediately feel welcomed, no matter how busy they are. The outdoor seating is shaded and well maintained. We've done breakfast here twice, so next time we will switch it up and try something else. Will definitely be back!!

Five stars is not enough!!!! The place is very unassuming and you may think you are in the wrong spot....you are NOT the gps took you to heaven aka bbq heaven!! We ordered three meat choice they were out of two we thought we would get by just after 1pm on a Saturday. But it led us to other choices we were very happy with. Turkey, brisket, St. Louis ribs. The ribs hands down best we have ever had. The turkey was so juicy with just the right amount of smoky flavor and the brisket was tender and bbq to perfection. It came with two sides we chose the Mac n cheese and the beans. The beans were Smokey and just a perfect combination with the bbq the Mac n cheese just the right amount of cheesy starchiness to side with the bbq. The corn bread was moist a tad sweet and just topped it all off. And three different bbq sauces to pick from. Each one in their own way complimented the meats perfectly. Tangy sweet , mustard, heat your pick for each bite. The gentleman at the register is what you would expect at a bbq place and gave just the right amount of direction towards our choices. Very friendly staff. No indoor dining just some picnic style tables outside. This is definitely out of our way when we are staying on the strip but hands down will make this 20-30 min trip every time we can!!!

First, to the veterans owners thank you for your service. Parking is limited. The place is kinda hidden so if you see the dollar general they are on that area. We drove all the way here to try their cheesy grits and the lady at the cashier said they do not have it today (Sunday) which was advertised they only serve it on Sunday. We decided to go ahead and ordered 3 items a la cart- ribs, beef briskets and burnt ends. They have an up charge $3 for brisket and burnt ends. It came with 3 cornbread and pickles and side orders of macaroni and cheese and brussels sprouts. Drink guava soda. We decided to eat there so its fresh and it was a good weather since they have out door seating only. They deliver the food to you but the same girl told us to get your own utensils inside. Where we sat there was a family in front of us and someone gave them cheesy grits so when I heard it I asked the guy about it. That guy confirmed they have cheesy grits and shrimp and grits. So I told him we were told by the cashier they don't have it so we told her that it was advertised they serve it on Sundays only. He confirmed they do have it. Forgot his name. Even the family in front of us who said they were regulars noticed that something was off about everything today (Sunday). We asked the guy how much and then he came back to our table and gave us shrimp and grits on the house. When it comes to foods--We don't care how much it is we are going to pay it, what we care about is to have a good customer service and great meal. The meat was not tender. Grits were mid. The lack of communication and attitude from their staff needs improvement. It made us feel like they didn't want to serve grits to us . We did not feel welcome--no one is friendly. This review is to help owners to re-assess what happened this day so others won't experience the same. With this experience, I don't think we will go back to this establishment.

Finding good BBQ in Las Vegas is like trying to win the lottery, a few people get lucky, but most of us don't. After seeing this place hyped up lately on Instagram and Facebook, I figured I'd take a drive and give it a whirl. It's located in Sun City Summerlin, and parking was a breeze. Ordering and payment were simple, and they even handed me a complimentary cantaloupe juice while I waited for my takeout order. Whether it was fresh or from concentrate, it was tasty and a really nice touch. When I unboxed my food at home, everything looked great and the portions were generous. I went with the 3 meats and 2 sides combo (around $47), choosing brisket, St. Louis ribs, burnt ends, and double greens. Here's the breakdown of how everything tasted: * **Brisket:** They gave me a mix of fatty and lean, which I appreciated. It wasn't dry and had a good amount of rendered fat. However, the outside was genuinely *burnt* rather than having that perfect bark you want to achieve, and it lacked the classic salt and black pepper bite of true Texas BBQ. * **St. Louis Ribs:** Cooked nicely with a great, clean pull off the bone. Unfortunately, the smoke flavor was barely there, and they also lacked basic salt and pepper seasoning. * **Burnt Ends:** My least favorite of the three meats. They had an acrid, "dirty smoke" flavor that was a bit off-putting. * **Greens:** Undercooked and bitter. They needed some brown sugar or apple cider vinegar to balance the flavor out. * **Cornbread:** Excellent. This was true Texas-style cornbread, not the overly sweet "corn cake" that a lot of places out here try to pass off. * **BBQ Sauce:** 6/10. Very sweet but with a vinegar finish. It's an interesting cross between Carolina and Texas styles. * **Pickles:** Crispy, crunchy, and nicely vinegary. **Overall:** Maybe it was just an off day, I'm not sure. The meal was just okay, but unfortunately, not memorable.

    No. Outdoor only.

Lake Mead and Del Webb. In the back of the shopping area with the Vet in it

What kind of wood do you use to smoke the meat?

We use Post Oak exclusively in our inside smoker and our outside "stick burner". We buy it from an awesome local vendor, Allied Charcoal & Wood, and they source it primarily from Texas and Oklahoma

Good and fresh, but a bit disappointing as the scallops were tiny instead of large...felt like a frozen bag was added -Shrimp w garlic and chile. Wow! Just wow. Should have asked for bread here, but I was too full to add bread. I could have licked the plate for this garlic chile sauce! Great service.
