To start off the Ladies in the front are super nice i liked them a lot! Thumbs up to Jamie and Desire buuut they really need to leave GT Auto and find a better place to work at. This place is crap! DO NOT BE FOOLED by the good reviews! To start off at the Time i bought the vehicle i had Zero knowledge when it came to cars. Few months after that i got a job at a Dealership and learned a lot. They sold me a Vehicle that already had the check engine light on( i know im an idiot) , my glove compartment was literally broken and would fall when i would open it, The fog lights were broken, brakes were shit. They told me that they would fix everything when the parts came in. I never got a call... The purge solenoid was messed up and they were charging me $160 to fix and i did it myself for $30(part cost) lol They did do my first smog on the vehicle tho idk how they passed it cuz the check engine light was on, they had the vehicle for about a month. When i got it back they left ashes in my car someone was clearly smoking in it. What kind of place does that in customer vehicles this place deserves NO STARS! read more

We have purchased a couple of cars here, and when you have young adults this could be the best decision. We purchased the cars a few years ago and they are still running. We had very minor issues and GT auto was very quick on scheduling us to get them taken care of. read more

You know when you start a purchase off great--you like the deal you got, the service is really friendly, you think you scored... But then a lil after you sign your name things turn bad?.. Yeah, that's exactly what I got here. 2 or 3 months after I signed the lease, things started going wrong... Had to replace the starter, one headlight, abc so many things with the electrical systems started malfunctioning (couldn't adjust my electrically powered seat!). And their attitude when I tried to talk to them about it was so cold and abrasive. I paid it all off too! And to top it off, my last payment I came in person and as I made it I asked if they were ever gonna give me the keychain door operating clicker they promised they would in the beginning... Their response: That was a long time ago. Don't be fooled by their fake smiles in the beginning. Keep looking. read more

Great prices, great service!! With everything I have been quoted this place is half the price. Had an issue with my car that would only happen intermittently so I had to bring it in a couple of times. The last visit the car mimicked what it had been doing for the mechanic and he was able to figure out the issue right away and fix it. I am forever thankful to this gentlemen for helping me out. I will certainly be back! I live in Fresno but this place is worth the drive. Side note: They wash your car once they are done working on it! Nice little surprise. read more

I deleted my previous glowing review because I have been feeling dissatisfaction with this mechanic over the last few months. It's not just me, but other people I know and the person who has our company vehicles serviced. They are more expensive than other mechanics that I know and if you don't call to find out what is going on with your car you could be out of transportation for much longer than necessary. At least other mechanics let me know when they are available rather than holding on to your car all day. read more

The quotes are always competitive and the timely repairs are always complete. I am a former Fleet Manager and I understand how hard it is to please everyone but GT Auto uses all the latest technology servicing vehicles and managing information after the repair. I have purchased two vehicles from this place and had many others serviced there. How good are they? I live in IDAHO and if I have a major problem I find a way to get the vehicle to Madera CA. The owner is the best mechanic I've ever dealt with. I own three Saturns and after asking around, found that he was hand picked by Lou Herwaldt as the first mechanic ever at Saturn of Fresno. The price quoted is always spot on and the work is everything you can expect. When I was waiting for my car to be fixed recently I was roaming around the lot, looking at cars and trucks for sales and it looks like everything they sell has a 2 year warranty on it. took my vehicle in 4 - 5 times for a total of over 3 weeks to get oil and transmission leaks fixed. Continued to have problems with transmission leaking. Every time I picked it up was told problem was fixed only to have it reappear as soon as I parked in my garage. Finally gave up and requested partial refund, was told check would be mailed, NEVER ARRIVED. Had problem fixed by more competent mechanics. WILL NEVER RETURN TO GT AUTO FOR ANYTHING. read more

Extremely rude!!! My mother went in today in the morning nicely asked the lady if she could please move her car the lady agreed but when they got there the lady barely even backed up the car so my mother went on in and asked again nicely not yelling or anything to please move the car the owner yelled at my mother and as you can see in the video of him yelling at my mother that he didn't give a shit and tell her to get the F***k out of there or he would call the cops unless you guys would like to be attended by someone who doesn't know how to be polite to others and obviously never learned manners and how to speak to a women I suggest you guys find somewhere else read more

Do not, I repeat DO NOT use this place. I purchased a car from them and that day driving home my check engine light came on. Tim told us that it was nothing and that Chevy would have a recall to get the piece causing the problem because there is copper in. Now a year later I need a smog and look at that Tim wants us to pay. It's a 1900 dollar piece. I bought my car for 5000 when the car wasn't even worth that because of the 2000 dollar piece that was broken on it. You can NOT trust anything these people say. Brought my car multiple times because the AC didn't work and it finally took my father calling them to get them to actually do something instead of just changing an air filter. My brother had the same issues. Tim kept saying that this was having issues and this was broken. He took it to a new mechanic. All the things Tim was claiming was completely BULLSHIT and the new mechanic actually fixed Jacobs car and now it runs better than when we bought it. All I can say is these people are crooks. Do not trust them and do not use this business unless you like being played. They don't even deserve one star but since it's not an option to put zero I was forced to give them one though they don't deserve it at all. read more

Big mistake ..... I recently purchased a vehicle from gt auto sales ,I had a very nice salesman who went over everything with me and we had walked through the vehicle and had come to an agreement about some work that needed to be done upon purchase, he was overall a very nice man named David ,well heres what my regret over this vehicle purchase is ,when I was told by David to bring in vehicle on a Tuesday for the upholstery n other items that needed repair and I did so but the items were not completed that day so I was told to bring back vehicle the following day so I did. at that time I meet the owner Tim grizzell I explained to him what had happened and that I was told to bring it back, at that point he told me all warranty repairs were done on Tuesday and that he didn't care what we were told by David and that he was the owner that he didn't have time to deal with it ! At that point I was shocked with his rudeness I explained that I had just purchased the vehicle and that it had only been 4 days and that the salesman hadn't told me that ,then he continued to tell me that maybe I should have bought a car elsewhere and he said do you think I need your business ?? We continued to have an actual argument about how and why was he being so rude to me I was only doing what his employee told me to do ! I left there shaken up and very dissapointed with my purchase his last words to me where " what do you think I should do drop everything and put you first in line " it was such a horrible experience I was treated like I was a nobody he actually ruined my whole car buying experience I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYBODY!!!! You will definatly regret it !! he claims on his website he provides honesty and great customer service well he obviously doesn't even know what that is !! maybe he should take time off from being a mechanic at his business and take some p.r. classes !! read more

I'm extremely unhappy with their service and would never buy from them ever again. Please buyers beware. I bought a vehicle from them over four months ago and have taken it in to them three times for repairs. I have drove it maybe a total of two hours in those four months and have had the vehicle in my possession for not even a total of three days. The second time I turned into my vehicle to them they had it for over three months before returning the vehicle back to me. After only having it for about 45 minutes it staled once again. They refuse to give my back my money and only will offer to fix a car that is unfixable. I'm 6 months pregnant and have been through so much stress regarding this vehicle and the fact that I have almost got into 2 car accidents because of it that it has caused me to have preterm contractions. Please don't buy your vehicle from them unless you want a lot of stress coming your way. read more

I went to this place on the recommendation of a friends sister. I needed a good used car for not much money but wasn't sure where to go without finding out there was some huge problems creeping up after I bought it. I've heard all the horror stories. I have to say these guys are great. I bought a saturn sl-2, 2001,85,000 miles for $5000 cash out the door. So that included the taxes, reg, smog and what not). I should add that EVERY car they sell includes a 6 month warranty bumber to bumber. 2 years engine and tranny. There were a few things my friend noticed before we were gonna buy it that would need to be taken care of like balding tires and paint peeling from door's moldings. I was just gonna fix it myself later and they were like no problem! Bam. 4 new tires and replacement moldings for free. I noticed while I was I purchasing I would have to do the 100,000 mile service soon since the milegage was 85,000. That's an expensive service No problem. We'll do it for free. Since then a few small issues have come up. Any car of 85,000 miles would have had them creeping up on them. Just normal wear and tear on any car (dirty Idle Air Control, dirty EGR, rotors needed resurfacing, valve body). All fixed for nothing. No problem. I think that anywhere else, I would have had to pay a lot more for this kind of guarantee, service and peace of mind. If you need a solid used car deal and don't have a ton of money go to this place. If anything goes wrong they REALLY REALLY honor the warranty. Thanks again Tim and Dave, if you are reading this! Hope I didn't leave anything out! read more

dont take your car here to have it fixed, serviced, or buy a car from them....customer service is horrible...took my car there three times and they didnt fix it right...with one time the part they put on my car ... caught on fire!!!!!! and the owner had nerve to tell me nothing was wrong with it...hello you see my oil and fluids leaking in your drive way.....horrible horrible place......i truly do not recommend this place......o yeah and he yells at his customers....just speaking the truth read more
