I had to come to this place after hearing my friends tell me about the pupusas from this place, and the immaculate service. If you're in the area looking for some authentic Mexican/Salvadorean food and not in a hurry then this place is definitely worth a visit. Do come here to enjoy the food but do allow some time as things are freshly prepared and cooked so it does take a bit longer - simply relax and grab some horchata & bottled coca cola while munching on some chips and salsa waiting for your freshly made order to arrive. Prices are very reasonable (about $2 pupusas) and the atmosphere reminds me of one of those quaint hole in the wall joints you'd find in places like Acapulco (except when you look out at the parking lot then you're abruptly reminded of the harsh reality that you're not on vacation) FOOD: pupusas ***** 5 stars ***** Simply one of the best and freshest you'll ever had, with cheese and hints of jalapenos, mmm I took some home for my wife, she loves jalapenos. other tacos (asada, carnitas, al pastor) **** 5 stars **** The tacos are 1.60 each, wow...they are chunky in meat proportions and EXTREMELY delicious, the restaurant next door gives you very little meat and they're 2.99 each, this place hands down serves the best mexican tacos ever. tortas *** 4 stars *** wow, they give you what you pay for, very good portions of meat and very delicious, only downside is that it takes a while to get, but everything is freshly made, yummm. homemade tortilla ***** 5 stars ***** did I mention these homemade tortillas ??? they really worth the extra wait and without these you might as well buy the tacos elsewhere... these homemade ones are much thicker than regular ones but at the same time soft and chewy ... if that makes sense... salsa & chips **** 100 lol stars **** the red salsa (medium spicy) is freshly made and really good. the chips and salsa are FREE, every place including next door they charge you for extra salsa and chips, this place gives you unlimited chips and salsa, if they run out of chips they make new ones for you, and they're warm and crispy and delicious. LOCATION: This place is in a small shopping center, it has 2 main buildings, one with a liquor store and a car parts shop and across is this restaurant with no sign, its literally on the corner and next to la ribera, ugh that restaurant has very bad service and so many people go, I guess they love horrible food and bad service. the lady that works at guacamoles (name of this restaurant) is very friendly, she understands both English and Spanish, which is awesome and the owner is also very friendly, they are the same owners for the other restaurants they have in LA. This place accepts credit/debit & of course cash, this is my first time coming here after going to the restaurant next door with horrible service, this place is a hole in the wall restaurant but its a Jewel of riverside. Mouthwatering AMAZING FOOD, CUSTOMER SERVICE, I saw their Advertisements on Instagram which is Pupseria Guacamoles, they have very presentable advertisements and they make you hungry just by looking at their ads, I went here on Wednesday the 11th which was yesterday and this place is a hole in the wall restaurant but OMG, just like the othe reviews say it is delicious, I asked for Tina to take my order but the owner was there instead and he took my order instead, SUPER NICE Guy, super amazing food, and for their 1$ pupusas i ordered 60 for my co workers, I truly recommend this restaurant BUT I do recommend you to call ahead of time and order your pupusas so you wont have to wait an hour to get your order, yes the wait is impeccable but IT IS SO WORTH The Wait. they Even Have Vegan Pupusas Ordered 30 of those, and they had coupons for large orders next to the register, when you buy 20$ or More you Get a FREE 32 oz. Drink, How Cool is that, They Cater also, Im coming back to this place for sure to place in orders for my personal and work parties, I took a stack of these coupons back to my work, my coworkers loved the vegan pupusas and the coupon deals, we are super excited, none of the other restaurants in the nearby area has these awesome deals nor great quality and delicious taste of food. I gave this restaurant a try since it had a bit of bad reviews, but the owner told me that they had just changed New Workers and that the girls that were there before were scaring the clients away. I GIVE THIS PLACE 100x Thumbs Up, I work for Parkview Community Hospital, and oh my everyone kept asking about the delicious smell that came from the bags of pupusas i had ordered brought. OMG. Truly Amazing Pupuseria in Riverside, My Husband and I usually drive all the way to LA. This Little Corner Restaurant serves the BEST Molcajetes & THE MOST DELICIOUS MOUTHWATERING PUPUSAS. The Lady thats in charge is super friendly, i even tipped her 15 dollars because of how nice she is, they have coupons inside by the register for Wednesday's if you purchase 20 pupusas or more youll get a FREE Larger Drink, that's so Amazing where else would they do that? lol Well if everyone is hungry and you're in the Riverside Tyler Mall Area head on over to this place. its only a 5 minute drive distance from Tyler Mall. This place is truly amazing, they have very delicious food and the customer service is way better than next door, the restaurant next to them give you wrong orders and are very rude but here the lady that is now there most of the time I believe her name is Tina if I'm not mistaken, and she is very kind and makes you feel like at home. this place makes some DELICIOUS Pupusas and on Wednesday's they're only 1 Dollar, I went here with a friend, and I recommend this small restaurant to anyone and everyone oh and you must try their mamey milkshake. Very great customer service by the lady Tina, and the food was delicious, came in for their Molcajetes, very delicious and my brothers came in to have their Menudo, great stuff.
