Growing up in the area, I've been to Guadalajara Grill numerous times and have always been happy with every experience. Service is good, the restaurant is clean with beautiful Mexican traditional decor. Live Mariachi entertainment (which is part of the appeal of dining here) is included in their competitive and fair prices. I believe their shows are: Thursday and Friday starting at 7PM. Saturday starting at 3PM. Sunday Brunch starting at 9AM. If you plan to dine during the weekend evening hours, it's best to make reservations as they are prioritized, but note that you won't be seated until your ENTIRE party arrives. They have a weekday lunch buffet at $15.99 from 10AM - 2PM and Saturdays/Holidays at $20.99 from 9AM - 2PM with plenty of food items that include a "Taquiza" (Taco Bar). Was brought here by my coworker who really loved the place, but we both walked out very disappointed today. They haven't been changing the food out for the buffet, and the servers let us know that the manager should've warned us at the door (which they didn't). The food all tasted old and flavorless - overall very disappointing. Gave feedback to the manager and they were not receptive at all. On December 14th, 2025 our party of fifteen experience a profoundly unsatisfactory Sunday buffet at Guadalajara Grill 14610 Baldwin Park, CA 91706. The food selection was notably poor; it featured an excessive amount of pork and beef, lacked diverse alternatives and included tasteless shrimp and guacamole. The Mariachi performance which we had hoped would enhance our meal, was also disappointing. It compromised only four songs, and the impromptu invitation for a guest from the audience to sing significantly disrupted the ambiance we sought. In addition, our server Lilian O, explicitly informed us that all fountain drinks, coffee and horchatas were included with the buffet. Despite, we were presented with an additional $70 charge for horchatas. Given this numerous shortcomings, in both food quality , entertainment and service clarity , we found our experience to be highly unsatisfactory and cannot recommend your establishment and will not be returning. We heard about this place while visiting a friend, the place is large and has plenty of food to choose from. Can accommodate large or Small groups you should make reservations the place gets full fast. You can also place your name on a standby list and wait. This restaurant has great food and good service. We have a reservation at 11, they sat us down at 11:15 and the mariachi started at 11:30, by 12:05 they were done for the people that get there at 11. They didn't even play for an hr. I didn't appreciate that. They need to do better for their ppl and give a good show. We drove an hr away to experience this and left disappointed by the show. Came here for lunch with my 5yr old daughter. Because my daughter is small and little to no appetite, i always do a la carte side of 2 eggs and I do the buffet. The waiter was trying to convince me to get the buffet for her. I told him no cause she doesn't eat much. He got the manager to come talk to me to get the buffet for her. She approached me as I was serving myself a plate! So embarrassing and unprofessional. As a former hospitality manager, waiters do this to bring the average ticket price up to get a higher tip. I was undecided about where to celebrate my birthday. So I decided to try this place for the first time. Well Im glad I did. When I arrived, the person receding visitors was not so welcoming, but Mariachis were wonderful, as well as the folclorico dancer. I happen to yell out a song fair them to sing, and they sang another song, but to my surprise the next song was the one I requested! The staff was wonderful and cheerful. Chips, salsa and water were out within the first few minutes of getting seated. Our server took our drink and food orders as soon as he brought the water. Our drinks and dishes came out relatively quickly as well, considering it was a packed house! I ordered a skinny Margarita and beware, their default glass is the size of a triple! Wish it had triple shots though. For my entree, I went with the Sarandeados, which came with about 7 plump pieces of shrimp marinated in their house-made spicy sauce, refried beans, rice, pico de gallo and a small dollop of guacamole for $31.99. The spicy sauce was sooooo good, I scooped it all up with their soft house-made tortillas. My friends all liked their dishes too. Yes, the dishes are on the pricier side, but we're also paying for the amazing Mariachi show. The band, instruments and songs are distinctly from Guadalajara and they played for a solid 30 minutes. We came to enjoy dinner with friends for their anniversary. This place is right of the freeway and easy to get to. When inside it's not too fancy but full of long tables. We were sat down as a group of 18, and promptly helped. The whole experience was good overall. Lots of food and drink options. I didn't love my shrimp diablo bit I tasted my friends dishes and they were good. So we sat down at 5 and by 8ish we were being ushered out because they have another showtime about 9pm. Some of the dinner items were not offered on the menu provided by the restaurant. When you have a family member that is vegetarian you want to make sure the online menus are the same as the actual restaurants menu. Mariachi, folklorico dancers and the singer where great. While it wasn't crowded at all, our waiter wasn't very attentive. $17.99 For breakfast, I took my family on Sunday, two days later. $36.99. The waiter this time was different person and super nice. Both visits I asked for Diet Coke, they gave me Diet Pepsi. I am not a fan of Pepsi so I felt they should be have warned me. Plus soda is extra charge. Food in general is good. My complaint is they are all labeled in Spanish with the exception of most obvious chicken wings, it is in English. Duh! The labels do not indicate whether spicy or not. My stomach is very sensitive to spicy food. It's very hard for non Spanish speaker like myself to eat there. My wife does not eat beef and she had no way to whether some meats of pork or beef. We sincerely wish they would include English labels and indicate spicy levels. It would have been more enjoyable with that. read more

I've been coming here with friends during the week for a few years. It's always a great time. This was my first time coming for their Sunday brunch with my family. Had an absolute amazing time. Service was fantastic, food was amazing and mariachi show was incredible. We were celebrating birthdays and our reservations allowed us to have front row seats. There was a shout out to all the celebrants by name, with a serenade of Las Mañananitas and a personal birthday cake to each celebrant was served. The Sunday brunch was the best. Everything was authentic Mexican food. The coffee was Cafe de la Olla style, so good. They also had a photographer take pictures at every table that you could buy and take home.
