We attended Guadalajara Grill with the family, we had not dined here in a very long time. After being seated we waited about 20 minutes or so for our waitress to take our drinks order. When ordering we were informed no plates could be shared and if we didn't order a dish for someone in our party we would be charged $30 to pay for the seat, which we found to be wild. We were forced to order a random plate. All the staff was overwhelmed and stressed out everything seemed to be very unorganized and unprofessional. The place had a nice mariachi show a few times during the day no complaints about the show, the place itself is very loud. The food was mid not the best in flavor! I don't see myself coming back with our family here.

This restaurant was suggested by one of our clients. And it was his birthday. The restaurant seating was a little confusing since there were long tables so when busy you may be seated with other people which can be good so people all get along. The mariachi band was great but it was a little loud and you really couldn't hear people at your table very well. Now the specialty cocktails are HUGE!!!!!!!! I don't even know what I ordered but it was delicious and I was shocked it came in a bowl. I was thinking how the heck am I supposed to finish this? I wasn't successful but I made a pretty good attempt. The drink was citrusy and alcohol was balanced and not overwhelming. Then our table had the queso fundido it came to the table still sizzling. Definitely put on tortilla and definitely get it with chorizo! Then I had the pork hock and this was huge too. I'm thinking this reminded me of the Flintstones! But very good. It had a kick with spice as well as the salsa but you just can't stop eating it! All I can say is put on your drinking boots and go starving because the meals are huge and most of them are easily shareable. So definitely worth the money for sure!!!!

Came here for Sunday brunch to celebrate a family members birthday. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is vibrant. Brunch is buffet style on the weekends until 2:30pm and includes a mariachi show. The show was great and everyone had a fun time! Although I loved the entertainment, the food was not the best. I did enjoy their carnitas, handmade tortillas, and drinks. However, everything else was nothing special. Most of the food was also room temperature.

Let's see if it's worth the high Sunday price.

Although there was a lot of people, the wait time was very little. There was plenty of delicious options. The live music was nice but be aware it's so loud you cannot talk or hear anyone at your table. Maybe we went in a day where it was short staffed as our waiter came around THREE times the whole time we were there. First time to get our drink orders, second to give us our drinks, and third to give us the total. We had to ask another waiter for refills. Also some of the food was too salty or sweet for my taste. For 3 adults and 1 child the total was $187.00 plus tax plus tip. Maybe I can give this place another try someday but for now, for my experience, it gets 3 stars.

All the food here was amazing. The service staff was great we came here for a birthday and I had never been here before. They did have a buffet that you could go to but I chose to order from the menu my husband and I ordered primarily appetizers and shared them The mini taco Dorados were probably the best thing that we ordered. It was very cute inside I have heard that they do play music occasionally but the day we were there that was not the case. I would come again.

Who know's how long that has been sitting there 3) The desserts are sitting on an ice block, I'm not sure why the sushi isn't!! I wonder how many people have gotten sick from this. Who know's how long anything has been sitting there. Most of the meats were pretty hard and dry. Every thing was super salty. Except for the clam chowder, which needed more salt. Utensils sitting in dirty containers. The whole place could use a damp cloth running through it. This place is not that busy and they have so many employees sitting and standing around. It was $18.99 for one person, 10% off for seniors. I guess you get what you pay for. Honestly it wasn't worth the price for me. My family and I, all left very unsatisfied. We won't be back.

With the cost of groceries, gas, and dining out continuing to climb, people are looking for a place where they can get a good meal without spending a fortune. This place fits the bill. If you come before 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, lunch is around $15. That's about what you'd spend on a burger, fries, and a drink at some fast-food chains these days, except here you get an entire buffet with plenty of choices. The salad bar is well stocked and includes fresh fruit. They also have sushi rolls and nigiri. Is it sushi restaurant quality? No. But considering that one specialty roll at a sushi restaurant can cost $12-$16 by itself, it's a nice bonus. My favorite item is fried chicken. It's crispy, flavorful, and consistently juicy. I would gladly pay the lunch price just for the chicken. They also serve a very good pot roast, meaty pork ribs, and on Fridays they have a surprisingly good rib roast. Those are just a few of the highlights because there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. As for the staff, most of the employees appear to be young and may be working their first job. The cooks aren't trying to be gourmet chefs, they focus on preparing the buffet items well, and overall, they do a good job keeping the food coming despite how busy the restaurant gets. If you're looking for a fine dining experience prepared by professionally trained chefs, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your goal is to enjoy a wide variety of good food at a price that's hard to beat in today's economy, this buffet is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a crowd, that's usually a sign they're doing something right.

We did have to wait in line before getting seated. The wait wasn't too long for our party of 7 as it took maybe 15 min or so. The food was okay. It's what you would expect from an AYCE buffet like this. It's maybe on par with the likes of Golden Corral or Hometown Buffet (from back in the day). The highlight things to eat may be the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ where you load up your bowl with veggies, protein (chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, etc), noodles, and seasonings. Hand it over to the staff cook and they hand you a pager to notify you when done. The other food highlight may be the Japanese sushi area. While not the highest quality of ingredients, it was still decent for the price of the buffet and the fact that there's a staff member making the sushi rolls consistently rather than just leaving a bunch out in a tray to get old and dry. Definitely might be an even better deal as a lunch AYCE option. But for dinner it's still nice to go to.

Now the food.... I had the Chon's Breakfast Comal. The chorizo was ok. Lacked quite a bit of flavor. Potatoes tasted kinda like they were boiled and then finished in a sauce, then plated. The bell peppers and onions were fantastic. A lot. But they were cooked well. Over easy eggs were decent, despite one of them being cooked all the way through. Comal was perfect temperature. But insanely greasy (which is expected from chorizo). Rice. Eh... Rice is rice. Wasn't bad. But was all "Oh my goodness this is amazing." Beans tasted like the refried Rosarita's can. Just topped with cheese. The salsa. It was pretty good. The 1st time. Until I found a hair. Then I was given a 2nd one. And when I decided to eat it, it was no good. It was starting to spoil. I realized this once I put it on a bite I was about to take and immediately put it in my food i was about to chew in my napkin. After about 15 minutes when my server finally came by, I told her of the situation. She said "I'll go check." Then disappeared. Someone else gave me the check, and then someone else brought the receipt. The initial server didn't pop up until I was getting up to walk out. So no manager interaction. No "we'll comp your coffee." Just a "Sorry you didn't like it." As I walked out. Ambiance is cool, but some table placement doesn't make sense. That needs to be addressed. Will I come back here? I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not. This time, we tried this place again and it's better! The food is still similar to all other buffets, but I think I prefer this place's chicken wings, baked mussels, bbq ribs, and beef stir fry. It is similar price range as other buffets ($20) and drinks are paid separate as usual. Refillable fountain drinks if you prefer but having water works too. The sushi is a hit or miss, I had great sushi rolls but other days it might have been sitting for too long. They refill their trays as food is getting less and I like that there's someone around to ask when they will bring a fresh batch. The tables are numbered so it's easy to know where we sit and where we have to go if it gets busy. Utensils are all plastic or one time use, no more checking if the forks are clean! The plates and bowls are still the reusable ones which is what I prefer for getting food. They have a popcorn machine (also a hit or miss in taste and freshness). For food: The crab legs are served cold and their butter is super yellow (it's most likely butter flavored oil). Bbq Ribs are good, served in single ribs, nice bbq flavor. Chicken skewers are still tender and flavorful, will keep having these! Chicken wings (fresh) are soooo juicy and crispy! They have chicken tenders but I didn't try them. No crab Rangoon or sesame balls unfortunately. Baked mussels taste just the same, great creamy sauce on chewy mussels. Coconut shrimp is fried with sweet creamy mayo sauce, it doesn't have coconut shredding so I love it. Beef stirfry is actually great, it had peppers and mushrooms, but the beef is tender (sometimes not so hit or miss). Ice cream is self serve scooped, they have a sign that it's $2.50 if anyone plans to take ice cream to go. Restrooms are clean when we went, I know during peak hours the restrooms can be a bit gross... Overall I'm glad we came back! Might come back more and hope the experience is good again!
