Humble little Mexican restaurant attached to the gas station. Clean, well taken care of, and nice staff. I ordered the 3 taquitos with everything on it (sub guac for sour cream). They tasted just like my stepmom used to make, who's from Aguascalientes. They were fresh and flavorful. I also ordered a plane churro which was also fresh and fried to perfection. The lime juice brightens up the flavors, but to be honest, they are great as they are. Each gets two corn tortillas that have been softened from heat. A generous helping of the choice protein, then guacamole, chopped onions, and cilantro. Omg. The chicken was tender and well flavored. The carne asada was nicely seasoned and likewise tender. The fam and I tried Julianita's tonight for the first time. I ordered a #4, carne asada burrito combo with beans and rice and chicken street tacos. The carne asada was flavorful but was a bit more greasy than I usually liked but nothing to negatively reflect my review. My daughter ordered the tacos and I have to say I loved the flavor and over all simplicity of them. We ordered the in house made Horchata which was well balanced, not to sweet and not to gritty from the rice. The staff at the window was very friendly which I appreciate. I definitely will be back to try some other items the caught my eye. If you're in the surrounding area and haven't tried this local family owned Mexican food place or if you're traveling the I-5 do yourself a solid and stop in and stimulate those taste buds, happy eating fam! read more

Well, we really like this new place. We stopped in the other day to give it a try and were presently surprised. They took over the space from Burger King and it's a "well done" move. The service was very friendly even though they were very busy. We ordered a street taco (cabaza) a ground beef crispy taco and steak fajitas. All of it was very flavorful and nice portions. The salsa was good as well. Could have been a little spicier for me. Today we returned for a couple of crispy tacos and to try their chili relleno. Again, very flavorful and nice portions on the relleno. This place has it. Oh, and it was very busy again today. Glad to see people coming out to give Julianita's a go. We'll be back. read more
