Grabbed a coffee here before my flight. Coffee was good. Limited selections here and limited selections in this terminal. Service was mediocre, but what do you expect in the airport? Fast as hardly anyone in the terminal today. Worth a stop if you need something before your flight. read more

Cute little spot located in the Southwest terminal at MIA. Lots of variety of food and drink options. I had a yummy caprese sandwich, and my husband had a club on a croissant. Both were served warm and toasty. Also, I asked to get my Stanley cup filled with ice water, and they didn't charge me. Will definitely get snacks at Guava and Java if I find myself at MIA again read more

Food is five star but the service is slow. The line was about 20 deep, an efficient line looks and puts infuses o. The preparation and service. The cashier was chatting up the prep cook, not paying attention to the customer and overall showing a disconnect. This is an easy fix, communication, attention and delivery of product will result in a growth is revenue. No one wants to stand in a long line and observe the people that should be hustling just laughing and talking, not taking orders. Minutes turn into a heavy cost at the end of a service day. The food was great and my coffee was spot on, if you fix the efficiency of the front servers, it will boost the business. read more

Gross. I am well aware that a 5:00 AM airport espresso shouldn't be a culinary experience, but it shouldn't be inedible. Even at an ungodly hour, a decent shot of espresso should be achievable via the MACHINE. It was not. read more

In Miami traveling home and stopped here for some coffee and food. Purchased two Americanos and a croissant. The order was made incorrectly. I ordered two 16oz Americanos and the order was made as two 12 oz Americanos. Once they realized they poured the coffee into the 16oz cups and added water. I understand that the Americano has water but they should have added more espresso as there was already water added to the smaller cups. Once they added additional water to the larger cup, at this point I'm just paying for additional water. I asked them to fix and they were rude and refused. Sad because the coffee and croissant were great but absolutely horrendous customer service! read more

The guava and cheese pastry was horrible. It was very dry and flaky. We pulled it apart to get to the guava and there was a minute amount. The guy said they get them from Costco. Would never buy one from there again, (This is in Miami international airport) read more

Cute spot located in the miami airport. Smoothie!!!!! omg I was so happy. they only had one choice but it was actually a smoothie and not full of sugar and junk that starbucks ones have in them. There was a long line and the staff was friendly and handling the line well, getting folks through fast. There was lots of coffee, baked goods, tea, not sure what else was there. Definitely worth a stop in! read more

Wow, this little coffee spot is a gem! Located in Gate G at Miami International Airport, this little spot is serving up some delicious and affordable coffee. Yes, somewhere at an airport that has reasonable prices. We ordered the cafe mocha and colada (Cuban expresso). The colada comes with tiny cups to share your atomically caffeinated sugary beverage. They also offer up smoothies, snacks and sandwiches. If you're waiting on your flight and happen to be in gate G, hit them up for affordable tasty coffee. read more

As we all know airports raise their prices. Understandably so. What I do not understand however, is ripping off customers so blatantly. I went up to the counter to order a sandwich and noticed the Cosco boxes of sandwiches, pastries, basically anything food related, obviously displayed with prices still attached for customers to see. As you see in the photo, the entire box of sandwiches bought from Cosco was $5.99 and they are trying to sell ONE sandwich for $9.75. I get making a profit but to do it so blatantly is laughable. Go to Guava & Java if you're in the mood to get ripped off! read more

They had surprisingly really good Cortada's at this little spot in the airport. They were not ridiculously priced two dollars and change. My son got a ham, cheese, and bacon croissant sandwich cost was about nine dollars a little pricey but he loved it. And heat it up so it's warm. Not bad for airport food and coffee. read more

While waiting for my flight needed something quick and healthy. The Krispy Kreme donuts on the other side were staring at me but I was able to resist and go to Guava and Java. I went with a super kale fruit juice here. It comes with kale, apple and orange juice, pineapple and coconut water. It hit the spot but size wise was 12 oz. Not sure where the 'super' comes from. Not too sweet and healthy for airport drinks. They also serve Cuban coffee. That would have been my second choice. read more

We were flying home at 7 am on New Year's day. This requires caffeine to survive. While the line was long at Guava and Java, the employees did a great job handling the line. The two worked well together to balance the register, coffee and baked goods. I ordered an americano, and a bagel and cream cheese, both of which I enjoyed. read more

We visited here for a quick lunch yesterday as it was across the way from our gate. The Cuban sandwich I had was dry but decent. However, it was the Cheese & Guava pastry that impressed us. The mix of the sweet guava jam worked really well with the salty cheese and the pastry layers were also made well. We were tempted to buy several more for our trip home but I don't think it would last through the flight. read more

RUN AWAY!!! I went to this cafe today (May 24, 2016) at the Miami International Airport. I should call the health department to have this business inspected. I bought 2 sandwiches: a veggie wrap, a grilled chicken panini and a coke. It was $22.01. I started eating the veggie wrap and my stomach started to hurt. I turned the plastic box over and noticed that the expiration date had been partially peeled off. I was only able to read a "2". I went back to report this. The man that helped me said he would give me $10 of cash back. He wouldn't put my purchase back on my card. I don't need the money, but at least he could have apologized. It didn't even phase him or surprise him. He probably knows that they do this all the time. UNETHICAL & UNSANITARY!!! read more

That's where they post their events, pop-ups, and seasonal / limited time menu items. Parking is easy - you can park in the funeral home across the street no problem. This spot is also women-owned, making it a perfect place to add to your rotation to celebrate Women's History Month and support women-owned businesses. This location also houses Ocho Placas Tattoo shop, a gallery, and film lab. The concept is awesome, and I can't wait to visit again.

tuve un pequeño problema cuando llegamos porq a pesar de haber llegado antes de las 5 pm porq soy…read moreclienta fija y se q esto se llena ,pues queríamos mesa adentro y la muchacha con una actitud un poco despectiva nos dijo q tenia q ser afuera porq las de adentro eran por reservación, sin problem nos sentamos afuera y silenciosamente hice mi reservación online estando sentada, cuando me confirmaron me paré y les dije q quería mesa adentro para mi y mi familia porq era el cumple de mi padre y quería q disfrutara de su cumple adentro y la muchacha me dijo que ya me quedara afuera q ya estaba sentada, no estuve de acuerdo y me buscaron al manager llamado DAYAN que supo resolver la situación y nos dio nuestra mesa adentro, al final terminamos nuestra cena bien como cada vez q venimos gracias a nuestra mesera Kemily. pero creo q las muchachas de afuera deben ser las más simpáticas ya q son la primera cara.

I ordered the chipotle chicken bowl and added avocado, I was offered a sample of their frozen yogurt and açaí. The frozen yogurt is a sweet treat and I also ordered a frozen yogurt bowl with blueberries instead of bananas. Everything was delicious and made to order. I'd definitely return when in the area or if I happen to see another store in a different area. Definitely give them a try, service was friendly and quick and the restaurant was clean. You can also dine in if you'd like. The chipotle bowl I forgot take a picture of but the website picture is exactly what the bowl looked like.

The staff was super nice, they helped to walk me through how to order. I ordered at a kiosk...a Poké bowl with raw salmon and tuna and added mango and avocado to my order at an up charge for each. I would've been so much more happy with this meal if it actually had any avocado in it!! It's a decent size bowl, but the two sauces it comes with are in teeny tiny containers. It tasted pretty healthy, but probably not something I would order again.
