    Quinoa bowl with roasted veggies
    Joe K.

Icebox is a love/hate kind of place in the MIA airport. They have good looking food for prices that usually send me away. However with this visit I was looking for a healthy salad and the roasted veggies with quinoa looked pretty good. Even at around $15 good for pre packaged insanely wasteful single serve food product with the sauce fully contained within another plastic container. After ordering I sat down in the "cafe" in which you can watch aircraft takeoff, land, etc and hear about customers complain that "the prices we pay here we should have cell phone plugs available" While I don't disagree as they charge a premium for food, I understand the dynamics of airport food service. It's not up to the vendor typically. Give it a rest. The service is very Miami indifferent which I was surprised about. I'm not a stranger to MIA airport and I'll leave it at that, and I was treated with supreme can't give a crap about what you ordered service. It's Miami, and I'll take off another star for that. I'm there often, all the time.

Curry chicken with cilantro rice and roasted vegetables

Located in the American Airlines terminal, this place is a great alternative to all the other fast food options nearby. They have a decent number of tables and a small bar area for seating. There are plenty of grab-and-go boxes featuring more than just salads and sandwiches. They also sell daily soups, hot sandwiches, alcohol, coffee, and a variety of desserts (cakes, cookies, etc.). I choose to try their curry chicken with cilantro rice. The piece of chicken breast was really substantial and their curry sauce was delicious and not spicy. If you're looking for something warm to eat I highly recommend getting this. They serve it in a to-go box so it's convenient to take on your flight.

Don't waste your time or your money. $13 for a strawberry/banana smoothie and yogurt base as well as a blueberry muffin. Not worth it or even tasty for that matter. They up charge you for more than two fruit... There was a hair on my cup!

Excellent option for a hearty hot meal in the North Terminal (D gates/ post security) at Miami International Airport. Hungry and in need of a nice hot meal, a friend recommended the curry chicken and cilantro rice at Icebox. The exact location is opposite gate D11 after security. The Icebox appears more of a coffee shop/ bakery, but actually serves good amount of hot options in addition to sandwiches and empanadas. The curry chicken was excellent; generous amounts of chicken breast served in a rich creamy sauce, accompanied by roasted vegetables (squash, peppers, egg plant and carrots) and delicious cilantro white rice. The size of the portion was enormous and very nicely presented. The only thing I could pick at would be that I wish it had been slightly spicier, but that's just a personal preference. Overall a great spot that you could very easily walk on past as the "Icebox" has some pretty good HOT food!!!

I'm in MIA Airport today, so I decided to go to my favorite place to get some food. It's in the D concourse(American Airlines)by gate D11. They have all sorts of delicious items on the menu and you can have them for here or to go. My favorite item is "Green Plate"(brown rice, portobello mushrooms and kale in the balsamic/curry sauce). It's so delicious. I also had a small coconut curry soup. They also have fanulous cakes(ones Oprah was raving about) of many different kind like red velvet and dulce de leche etc. I've had a dulce de leche before and it was a huge piece and so rich. They also have pre made wraps/sandwiches and salads etc. I definitely recommend this place when you are at D concourse in Miami Airport or on your stop over. You will not be disappointed.

I love icebox this was my second time here and the experience is top notch food is always fresh and tasty. the staff always make it their priority to keep guests satisfied. And special thanks to your hard working waiter by the name of Diego and Ana for make the best drinks in town.

Service: The staff was friendly and food didn't take very long! Ambiance: It's a hotel one stop shop for snacks and foods, so don't expect anything fancy. The location was perfectly fine, nice place to sit down and eat some lunch. Food: The sandwich was quite delicious I had a pulled pork sandwich and was surprised at how good it was. Price: Remember, this is an airport, so everything is outlandishly priced, but if a crummy cold sandwhich costs $12 everywhere then why not spend those $12 on a hot fresh sandwhich. They have a couple of options and I honestly couldn't find anywhere cheaper to get some lunch from.

    Much needed!

They are always having pop ups celebrating small businesses, or small events that are curated to feature interesting topics and showcase different local merchants. It's how I discovered Chi Chi's bakeshop - fantastic baked goods - a cool thrift shop, and also an awesome film photo booth vendor. I will dream of the tequenos regularly, in addition to their other grab and go snacks. The coffee they use is from a local roaster, Perla Coffee, and quite delicious. The best tip I could give, besides visiting them and enjoying a killer cup of coffee, is to follow them on Instagram. That's where they post their events, pop-ups, and seasonal / limited time menu items. Parking is easy - you can park in the funeral home across the street no problem. This spot is also women-owned, making it a perfect place to add to your rotation to celebrate Women's History Month and support women-owned businesses. ‍ Post-Golf Brunch at Country Club Diner - Le Parc Café…read more 2420 NW 7th St, Miami, FL 33125 After a refreshing morning walk around the Granada Golf Course, our CRE team ducked into Le Parc Café, a hidden gem just outside Coral Gables that turned out to be the perfect Friday brunch meeting spot. We grabbed a table inside across from the counter -- the space was cool, cozy, and flooded with natural light, a nice contrast to the Miami heat outside. Great energy for casual strategy talk. Order Highlight: I went for the 4-egg omelet loaded with crispy bacon and cheddar cheese, served with a warm buttery croissant on the side. (See pic ). It was comfort food done right -- fluffy eggs, sharp cheddar melt, and real-deal bacon, not that paper-thin stuff. Service was friendly and quick. Coffee refills came without asking. Staff were chill but attentive, which made it easy to talk business without interruptions. Overall, this spot strikes the perfect balance for a laid-back, productive CRE catch-up -- no loud crowds, no fuss, just solid food and clean ambiance. Bonus points for easy parking and a menu that works whether you're here for a breakfast deal huddle or a solo laptop session. Already planning to make this a recurring Friday tradition.

We came in the evening and immediately, as we walked up, there was music, people laughing, talking, smiling... the energy was incredible. I also loved that there was a bar off to the side while waiting. We ordered a few mojitos and sat outside at the tables and benches, just enjoying the atmosphere. When our name was finally called and we walked inside, I genuinely felt like I was stepping into history. The atmosphere here is unmatched. The music, the aromas, the people. God, I loved it here and I hadn't even tried the food yet. We ordered the braised oxtail (which came with plantains and rice), salmon glazed in guava BBQ sauce, ceviche tropical, assorted empanadas, and a Cuban sandwich. Everything was phenomenal. The sauce paired with the empanadas perfectly. The guava BBQ glaze on the salmon was absolute perfection. It was the perfect combo of sweet, smoky, and flavorful. The ceviche had the perfect acidity and tasted so fresh and refreshing. This is one of the most famous Cuban restaurants in Miami. It completely lives up to the reputation. Highly recommended

There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.

On a cloudy day like ours, the weather wasn't an issue, but unfortunately the outdoor area shows some wear: the plants, and the tables all need some attention. Worth noting, one section sits close to the restaurant's large trash bins, and the smell does reach the tables, which is a shame. Now, the good stuff , and there's plenty of it. The staff is wonderful: young, enthusiastic, genuinely warm and professional. The passion they have for what they do comes through immediately. The passion fruit juice (jugo de parchita) was absolutely delicious naturally unsweetened, which for me is exactly right. And the sandwich? That's what brought me here in the first place, and it did not disappoint. It was outstanding, the kind of thing you find yourself thinking about long after you've left. 100% recommended. Here's hoping they give that outdoor space some love soon!
