I've had pizzas all over the place and keep coming back to Salvatore's and we love the folks at this location. If you've never tried the Thin Thin Pizza, you should give it a try. If you love pizza, but find the crust just to filling, PLEASE try Thin Thin! My husband and I went vegan (to a degree... we draw the line at cauliflower crust even though that's pretty good too) and regularly order the Thin Thin doubles with pizza sauce, artichokes, red peppers, and banana peppers. Where to begin. First tho.. I will start out by saying the (female) manager this evening DID call back and took care to do what was supposed to have been done 6 weeks and 5 phone calls ago. In July I ordered take-out at the counter, opening it a short time later to eat it, only to find food was missing. Plus what I was given was cold and did not look at ALL like the photo. They wanted me to come back for the missing fries (!); but finally said they would deliver it as we were only 1/2 mile down the road waiting for an outdoor concert to start. They never came. I called them within the next day or two and after lots of back and forth (we had the concert people announce your name - huh?) was told I would get $10 credit to my card. It never came. More calls and was finally told the best they would do is put the credit on my account. (I don't have one.) "We'll open one for you." I don't want to do this, but am forced to. Now when I go to use it this evening I first get a "You don't have any credit" and then after a lot of pushing on my part am told I have to pay full price for an item in order to use my credit, because the "system won't let me, and you can use a credit or a coupon but not both". A manager will call me back because she's too busy taking care of other orders to come to the phone right now (!!??). We ordered somewhere else in the meantime. She eventually did call and was very apologetic and saying the agent was wrong (credit is not like a 2nd coupon where you can only use one), and also apologetic about the refund, etc, not being handled property any of the time we called. She will set up for me to pick up the money owed me in cash. She was willing to drop it off, but that is okay. i upped my review from a 1 to a 2 as a result of her actions. SHE gets a 4. read more

I just ordered from their Arthur Treacher's menu, the Famous Seafood Platter. Now, Salvatore's has never in all these years brought me bad food until tonight. This was the worst. The hushpuppies were burnt black. How could you guys put that in the container? That guy should be fired. The piece of fish was one texture from outside coating straight through to the supposed to be fish. The fries were mushy. The clams tasted good but were very soft, not like a fried clams should be. I asked for malt vinegar and received....NONE. I mean what is going on down there tonight? My niece got a pizza slice and wing combo and couldn't have been happier. Obviously the guy on the fryer needs an additional training session and I mean at his new job. Today I called in an order for a Tuesday special, spaghetti and meatballs. Usually just over $11. I asked that my bread be plain as it is when it comes out of the oven. When my husband went in to pick it up he was told it was close to $18. They told him I asked for pasta and meatballs and to get the special I would have had to say spaghetti and meatballs . Which is what I did. And guess what, when we opened it.... It was spaghetti and meatballs. Good thing we took it home because stopping at north ponds for a picnic we would have had another surprise. Terrible service. We ordered a large pizza from them, and they said it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. When I got there they said they had no record of my order, despite one of the four employees at the front counter remembering my wife's name when she called in the order. They said the order was not in their system, and treated me like I was the one who screwed up. I then called my wife, and asked her to text me a screenshot of Salvatore's phone number that she called. I showed this to the employees, and they said nothing to me and just smirked. No apologies, no nothing. Obviously, they lost a customer, as I will never go there again. We don't eat pizza too often but when we do, Salvatore's is my favorite in Webster. The odd thing is, they seem to be a bit inconsistent from this location to the one on Bay Rd (which I think has better food more often). I've had days were the pizza is incredible and the last time, it was just "ho-hum". Sometimes the cheese is so gooey and perfect and other times, it looks like the pizza had been sitting around for hours already. Their regular prices seem very high to me. I personally don't want to spend close to $20 for a large pizza but if keep an eye out for coupons in the local papers, occasionally you will find a large for $10! Last time I had that $10 coupon and told them on the phone when ordering, I felt like the pizza was "skimpier" than usual. (Not sure if they cut back on toppings because they were making less money on it??) So next time I plan on ordering normally and showing up with the coupon and having the price adjusted then. And be warned, half toppings get charged at full toppings price (kind of weird). Seems better to just get full toppings. We haven't tried many other items other than pizza. The boneless wings were ok. The pizza fries were ok too. The deep fried mushrooms were decent- but kind of pricey. I was really in the mood for jalapeño poppers once and was surprised they didn't have them. All in all, we'll definitely return!!! read more

I've ordered from Salvatore's many times and every time I use delivery it always takes over an hour to get the food. Also I always have issues using their website when I need to update my payment method. I tried ordering again tonight but I again could not get my credit card to update so I ended up calling the store to place my order. I ended up having to call the order in. The girl that took the order was not very easy to deal with as she interrupted me several times and placed me on hold in the middle of my call. Not great customer service. I love Salvatore's food, just not from this location. Bay road and Monroe ave have much better food. I have ordered a shaved steak sub on two occasions from this location and both times the subs were so soggy I couldn't even eat it. I figured maybe they just can't make subs (even tho shaved steak is supposed to be a Salvatore's signature). I figured I'd try my luck with boneless buffalo wings but they were equally as disgusting and just as inedible. The boneless wings came burnt without enough sauce on them. I have lived in Webster for 62 years. This is one of those go to places. We have stopping here occasionally since they opened this location. We have enjoyed the varied menu and obviously, the pizza. One slice is really two. And delicious. Customer service is very good and the sitting area is comfortable. They will continue to see us every week or so. read more

We have have ordered from this Salvatore's and we never have had an issue. The last 4 times we have ordered from this location and I would pick up the order and get home and we would be missing items. We would call the store and they would apologize and fix the problem but this has happened 3 more times. I think the management needs to train there employees better to double check the order to make sure the full order is there for pick up. I am not looking for anything free but if this keeps up i am going to have to look at another place to get my pizza. Absolutly my favorite pizza shop in town. With their full menu you will definitely find something delicious to eat. They by far have the best subs in town. This Salvatores is horrible. You give them your order and you're specific with it. I swore I would never order from this particular establishment again. But my daughter ordered from here and I asked for extra Mayo on my sub, well when I got the sub I got tons of lettuce, oil and honey mustard but no mayo. So I called and express that there was no mayo on my sub. Well I was informed that he would send a driver to bring me some Mayo. REALLY???? Their chicken finger sub was Fantastic! Super saucy, great blue cheese and fresh veggies on a fresh and flavorful roll, which tasted homemade. It was huge and was easily two meals. Their pepperoni and mushroom pizza was also great - loaded with toppings and delicious. But their homemade chocolate chip cookies were amazing! They also had a decent tap list and friendly staff! Salvatore's in Webster is some pretty good Sicilian style pizza. I stop in for a slice a few times a year and at work, we order their sheet pizzas. They make the only good sheet pizza I've ever had. They sauce it up nice with plenty of toppings. I'm not sure why other places skimp on sauce for their sheet pizzas. Last night was the 3rd time we have ordered delivery from Salvatore's in Webster. We ordered a pizza which was delivered. When we opened the pizza box, it looked as though it was carried sideways. It was all slid together on one side of the box, slices on top of each other and stuck to the lid. Well, we paid $20 for this pizza and tipped the driver $5, so we called them. The girl who answered seemed just plain annoyed with us, never apologizing, and talking with attitude. We were to get another pizza delivered. When we got off the phone we started thinking... and just by the way the phone call was handled, we didn't feel comfortable getting another pizza from them. Who knows what they would do to it if they were so annoyed us. So I called back again, I asked for a manager this time. I told him that I thought if they'd made a mistake with an order that they'd be apologetic about it and instead we were treated poorly on the phone. To my surprise, the "manager" began to defend the girl we spoke with!! Horrible management, he should've just made it right. All in all, we drove the pizza there and returned it to them ourselves, got our money back, lost $5 on the delivery boy and we were still hungry! AOK. I tried Salvatore's for the first time last night while visiting family in the area. We got four pizzas (for pickup)... A pepperoni, a sausage and pepperoni, a cheese, and one with mushrooms, olives, peppers and onions. The dough was fresh and tasty, yummy crust... The sauce was unremarkable, not bad, but not tasty either... Plenty of fresh cheese, but the toppings for me, were the shining star... Lots of pepperoni all over, no skimping her whatsoever. The sausage pieces were big 'ol chunks of sausage, lots of cheese, the veggies were diced small (which I like) and were fresh and tasty. At just over $80, it was a tad expensive for four pizzas, but overall Salvatore's was a delicious treat. read more

I like the Sweet Country Breaded Wings and I get mac salad with it. One time they left out the mac salad. I called and the person I spoke to was nice and said they could deliver one or they could put a note in and it would be free the next time. I was satisfied with that. Next time I ordered the Mac Snack with breaded sweet country and got regular wings, not breaded. This time, last Friday, I ordered the ten piece breaded sweet country and got regular wings again. I agree with another reviewer that said the person on the phone talks way too fast and is in a hurry in general. This isn't that important, just annoying and frankly, I think there are other places that give better service and food is as good or better.
