Visit to ocean city MD stopped by for a bite to eat on Taco Tuesday. Amazing restaurant and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We as able to sit pretty fast even with a large group. Taco Tuesday's had half off on tacos and you get 3 tacos with rice beans on the side and believe me it was more than enough to fill you. Also had the 60pz margarita drink that we shared between 3 of us and man was that good. Kid friendly and great choices to pick from. Burgers were good here also. We had dinner our last night in OCMD, Wednesday, 9/3/25. Nice evening, so we dined outside. No complimentary/starter chips and salsa? That should have been a warning... I ordered 3 enchiladas, a beef, chicken, and chorizo, with rice and beans. It arrived crowded on a too-small small oval plate. Food falling off before I started eating. Black beans tasted like they were straight from a #10 can, with no seasoning. Lukewarm rice. My Fiancée ordered a beef taco salad, No Jalapeños. Taco salad arrived, With Jalapeños. Our server took it back. Came back remade(?) correctly. She ordered a strawberry margarita, frozen. That was about the best part of the meal. Our bill was about $55 before the tip. They do have alcohol drinks. You must be 21+ to drink here. Prices can range from $10.00+ and has a lot of parking around the restaurant. Parking is free. Our visit was on Tuesday June 20, 2023. As you drive up to the restaurant. You can see it's a Mexican restaurant and looks amazing from the outside. It welcomes you from the outside and I really do enjoy that. After you park, You walk into the restaurant and see the hostess. She ask you how many and sit you down. We had a tall table that was available to us during our visit. After the host left then our waiter came by really fast and ask us "how we are going" we said "great" and she ask what do we want to drink. She was very nice and smiling the entire time. We got alcohol drinks, We had the Swedish fish and peach margarita drink. We then order our food. We order the enchiladas and got the Carne Asada tacos. We waiting about 15 minutes for the food which was really fast and began to eat. The food was delicious. I had chicken with rice that was on the side of my enchiladas. The tacos was amazing and very tasty. The food was a 5/5 all star meal. We didn't have any complaints. The place is clean. Very well maintain and organized. You can tell that they keep with the place and to make sure that the guest experience has the best possible outcome in their restaurant and that is something I love to see during any visit for a restaurant. The bathrooms was really clean and very maintain. It's really easy to navigate around the restaurant since it's not big. They do have a full size bar if you don't want a table. You have all the table and booths as you walk into the restaurant and the bar on the left. You can't miss it. The bathrooms are on the right in the back. The staff was amazing. Our waiter looked really happy and always came and checked on us to make sure if we need anything. She was very nice like I mentioned in my previous comment above. All the other staffed looked like they enjoyed the job. We had no issue with the staff. We really did enjoy our dinner. The only reason the place didn't get a 5 star is that we spent over $100.00 for our food and two drinks. For being a Mexican restaurant, that's pretty high but I guess it's pricey since we are in a tourist destination. We do recommend this place but be prepared to spend an arm and leg for everything. I ordered chicken fajitas. The pan was far too hot and charred the food on the bottom, a lot of which also stuck to the pan. Peppers on top were basically raw though. Rice was served on a paper lined platter along with other toppings. It was very difficult to get the toppings up without bringing the paper lining with it, especially since some have moisture. Don't understand this idea at all. The rice was barely warm. Kid ordered kids quesadilla with beef. The outside was overcooked and the meat was flavorless. Maybe their other menu items are better. The other thing I found bizarre was someone coming around taking pictures. Food was delicious. We had the bottomless chips and salsa which is worth it. For the main course, I had a shrimp burrito. It was huge and came with a side of rice and beans. Since I went during Happy Hour I got 2 nice sized cups of Margaritas. They were very delicious. The service was good. We were seated immediately and our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Giving this place 2 stars which I really never do . The food was. Solid C at close to "fine dining" prices. We were a party of 3, two of those meals were tacos. A 3 taco entree with rice and beans was $26. Really? You can get that entree in any major city for around $15. At $26 that's over $8 per taco. We did each have 1 drink and the other entree was a burrito bowl. Total check $143 for 3 drinks , 2 taco entrees and a burrito bowl. That's a dinner that cost easily under $100 everywhere else. I had spilled my lemonade a little bit on my leg (not too much) and she automatically changed her whole vibe after I asked for some napkins. She said okay, and then proceeded to stand there as juice is dripping down my leg asking for everyone's orders. That was the first red flag. And she never came back with napkins! It was a food runner that came back with some after we asked again!!! Keep in mind. Our whole table is filled with servers and bartenders (these are my work friends). We knew something wasn't right. Whatever. My two friends then realized they didn't like their lemonades because they were carbonated and it didn't say that in the description, so they wanted to change their flavors to see if another would be better. She then told us no because she " already made it" so they can't take it back. WHAT!? I never had that happen before? I work at a restaurant? You can return anything as long as it's not very visibly eaten/ drank. My friend then asks for a manager and she comes back in 15 minutes 1 without the manager, and 2 saying she actually can do it and what flavor they want. I'm thinking she's probably having a bad day, but she isn't checking on us, is being rude, keeps giving weird looks at the table. Like what. I'm thinking it's because she already knows it's an automatic 18% gratuity so she doesn't really have to try, so that is unacceptable. We end up calling her over and asking for the manager regardless and her vibe changed again and she says " oh yeah of course!" Like now you want to be nice.... The manager apologized and was very nice but she tried to say that the girl is European so maybe it's a cultural thing? I'm literally born in Poland and from there as well. That has nothing to do with it. You're either angry at the world or not. Smh. But we ended up paying and leaving . I will say it's $$$....our bill was $115 for two kids' meals, two taco entrees, two bottles of beer, Two sodas and chips and guac. Guac was fresh and chunky--very generous portion. We asked for our wings to be fried extra crispy and when they came out the skin was initially crispy but after sitting for 2-3 minutes the wings were soft and rubbery. The reason the wings sat for a minute was because they served my entree before the wing appetizer and I was too engrossed in how awful my enchilada entree was. However I would strongly recommend staying away from ordering their burritos...even though that seems to be their name sake (Guido's Burritos). Be ready to fight off a lot of flies that are surrounding you while you were trying to enjoy your meal, and to spend double the amount that you would at chipotle for a little quality to exceed it. My boyfriend was not thrilled with his Baja burrito (steak), the meat was dry and there were French fries in it?! I did not like my blacked fish taco- it was dry and lacking flavor. Hubby and I both ordered the beef Taco entree, which came with 3 tacos, rice and black beans. We also got Sangria. We shared a churro for dessert. Everything was tasty so I have no complaints about the food. The total cost, not including the tip, was $75. I consider that a little bit pricey for Mexican food. The server forgot to bring us forks with our dessert and disappeared on us at the end of the meal. I think he was flirting in the kitchen with some of his female coworkers. We didn't want to get up and leave cash on the table, so his dallying made us wait. Definitely training is an issue. No one greets you walking in. Servers aren't pating attention to the tables. So i saw peoppe sit for like 20 minutes before getting drinks and chips and salsa. Hopefully they will address sooner than later. I give these guys 4 stars because the staff acknowledged performance issues and tried to accommodate customers. Food was ok. Nothing I ate stuck out. Loved the food and drinks here. My friends and I usually stop by here at least once on our trips to OC. That 60 OZ Monsterita is the best bargain in the area if you really want to get a nice buzz. You cant go wrong with any of their burritos, fajitas, or enchiladas. They have outdoor patio seating as well. There is a bar and plenty of TVs to catch your favorite content. It was UNTZ UNTZ, so loud I couldn't hear myself think, let alone have any type of conversation with my tablemates. Excellent spot for your next frat excursion.
