While staying at the Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront Suites, we find ourselves getting breakfast or a quick bite here frequently! The food is always good, with great service and friendly staff. It can get very busy, especially on the weekends but they are always very accommodating. The breakfast potatoes are always my favorite each year I get them, and their great, extensive wine selection at the restaurant for dinner is something I know I need to explore more. The portions, especially for breakfast, are always very big and filling. I only dined here because we got free breakfast from being HH member. While everything sounded good on their menu, it was a major let down. Their avocado toast was wierd, and crab cake benedict was topped with overcooked porched eggs. Our group trip. We stayed at the Hilton abs decided to eat at their restaurant one night. Crab gratin... Really good Jerk chicken.. Enjoyed Truffle fries.. Ok Shrimp toast.. Interesting Some got the beet salad I originally wanted the grilled salmon but they ran out of salmon so i had to get something else. Waitstaff recommend the Cioppino. Honestly I didn't enjoy it. I took 90% of it to go, also as I was full from the appetizer but the Cioppino didn't inspire me at all, at all. The win of the night was prob the crab gratin. read more

We decided to eat here for Easter buffet because some family members were staying at the Hilton. Everyone in the party was disappointed in the Easter buffet. The buffet was missing items after only 2 hours. Additionally the food was mediocre, presentation was lacking. Additionally, no drinks were included with the buffet. We have had food from 32 palm many times over the years. The Hilton honors F&B credit makes it easy to utilize the resident restaurant. Most meals and apps are fairly priced within the credit so you can enjoy complimentary breakfast or midday or night snacks. Food is fairly good for the price of convenient hotel food. read more

In the Hilton oceanfront, we had it three days in a row this visit for breakfast as we stayed in that hotel. First two days I got western omelette and it was hot and full of vegetables. Only thing was an inconsistency with the home fries day to day , first day they were ok but a little cold, second day fantastic. I got French toast today and it was delicious perfectly cooked a little and nice flavor. Would get again. Service was great all three days, we got lucky and restaurant wasn't crowded any of the days. Came for breakfast. We had the Benedict on the beach, which 2 poached eggs, each on top of a crab cake, tomato, spinach, and English muffin with a hollandaise sauce finishing. This was served with a side of home fries. The Benedict on the beach was pretty good. The home fries were cold. Also, we ordered a stack of pancakes. Basic pancakes. But since I haven't had pancakes in a while, it hit the spot. Service was average. The next day, we went to the lounge section of the restaurant. Where there is a small happy hour menu and an extensive wine list. It was much busier than the main dining room. There were TVs in the bar to watch the game. For food, we ordered crab gratin, Maryland crab soup, crab sandwich with onion rings, and fresh catch fish sandwich with coleslaw The crab gratin was rich and creamy with lumps of crab with every scoop. The crab soup was decent. But I prefer more if a cream-based crab soup. The crab sandwich and fish sandwich were good. Both patties were small and flat served with a choice of fries, coleslaw, onion rings, or sweet potato fries. The service was good. The convenience and food and beverage credit are the reason for dining here. It's in the Hilton Ocean City Resort. Since there is not an executive lounge at this property for Hilton diamond members, they provide a $15 per day credit food and beverage credit per guest. read more

My partner and I came here for New Years Eve and had high expectations, we were excited. We tried the crab dip and a surf and turf type meal. The crab dip is probably my favorite in the area but they do not give enough bread with it. The surf and turf type of meal was alright. Nothing exciting. The crab cake was tasty, the chicken was somewhat juicy but still kind of dry and hard to cut, the potatoes were boring and the asparagus were flavorless. The dish needed acid and salt. I don't even remember the flavor of the sauce- or even everything together. The dish in itself- while edible- was forgettable. My partner got the shrimp scampi, it was tasty but one note. Very buttery and rich. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. Nonetheless, with how creamy it was I wish it came with some type of bread or bread crumb type of topping and a bit more of acid- lemon? It needed it. Lastly, we got dessert. The brownie with ice cream. It was good. Filling, rich, and dense. Would get it again, but didn't make my mouth water. Also thing I didn't remember until we already paid the bill and stood up, but we realised we didn't get free bread like the other tables which is unfortunate because I remember coming last time and the bread being pretty good. Nonetheless, this meal was average but did not meet our expectations. For about $140, we got an appetizer, two entrees, one holiday cocktail, and fountain drink, and a dessert- it wasn't a bad price but wish it was more memorable, especially for New Years Eve. As for our service, the waiter was alright. Not great. Just alright. He barely stopped at our table, did not take our appetizer plates out of the way when we got our entree so we ate with them on the table, did not ask how our food was and we overheard the table beside us and how the food was described- when we asked him about how some meals were- it was a very blunt, no adjective based answer. Overall it was a very slow, uncommunicative experience. One pro from the serving experience was that I could not decide between two cocktails and asked for his recommendation and to just surprise me between two choices I was stuck on which he did with no problem at all. Last thing, the atmosphere was clean, classy, and beautiful. It was a bit loud, but they were other customers enjoying their New Years so it was understandable. Me & my party went to go wait at the entrance of the place. (This restaurant is inside the hotel.) It is next door to a bar/lounge. It was a bit hard to find cus it is a small door next door to the lounge which we mistaken the lounge for 32palm. No one was at the front desk and they were too busy that it took a long while for them to let us in. When we went in, the environment was ok, I felt like I walked into a little conference room that got turned into a restaurant. The waiter who was taking care of our order, you can tell on his face & body language that he is just so done with everything doesn't want to be there and doesn't really care about anything and does not even want to pretend he wants to be there. It seems he didn't care or didn't know about the menu to question the choice of toast before he left our table. So when he came back, I had to tell him about the choice of toast. If I didn't tell him, he would've never brought out our toast. The food looks great, it is lacking flavor for me though. I think the other ratings here are overrated. read more

Overall a great experience. We did go around 6pm on the 4th of July and seemed like we were the only ones dinning there besides 2 other tables. Our waitress didn't seem to know how to answer our questions. Like if the Caesar salad had actually anchovies on top since the description is worded weird and a couple of questions. Our drinks ( lemon drop martini) were very good, our waitress did spill one on the table but that's okay. The croutons on the Caesar was to die for. Also very big portions same for the sides. The filet was also very good, and cooked to my liking. Crème brûlée was also very good. All enough to share. We were staying in the hotel and made reservations for 7:30. We arrived at 7:30 and were seated right away. A bus person dropped off some bread but then we sat for 20 minutes while all the servers took care of their tables. We finally flagged down a server and she said she would be happy to take our table. It seems the hostess never told anyone we were there. She brought us water and took our order. We ordered mango margaritas which were delicious and she even bought us extra. We started with shrimp cocktail and the shrimp were large and juicy. I ordered the stuffed lobster and RJ ordered sea bass. His was amazing, a great piece of fish and cooked perfectly. Mine was good but not a lot of lobster. He won this round of who ordered best. We got free dessert with our room so we went with key lime pie and some kind of peach bread pudding that was really good. This Restaurant is located in the Hilton Hotel we were staying at. We decided to give them a try because we didn't feel like driving somewhere to get something to eat. The Hostess seated us and told us to please be patient because they were under staffed and only had one Waiter, so it might be a bit of a wait for our Food. The dining room wasn't crowed only about 4 tables occupied. The Waiter came over and took our drink orders. We got a Pina Colada and Watermelon Martini, both were good. We ordered Appetizers French Onion Soup and Caesar Salad, the Soup was really good and cheesy. My main course was Steak and Crab Cake with Vegetables and Mashed Potato's. My Husband ordered the Steak and Shrimp with Vegetables and Pan fried Potato's. The Steaks were Filet Mignon's they were tender and mouth watering, the Crab Cake was ok and the Shrimp small and just ok too. We didn't wait as long as I thought we would. Our Waiter, sorry I can't Remember his name was great, a young African American Gentlemen. Despite being the only Waiter he handled his job very well, he was very friendly, fast and checked on us often. And the Hostess Lady was nice too. I ordered the steak and crab cakes and hubby went full on crab cakes - neither of us was disappointed! We ordered omelette with home fries and whole wheat toast, 2 sets of three stack pancakes. They arrived in less than 35 minutes. Everything was very delightful and delicious. I'm not sure why their rating is only 3.5 stars. As a Diamond honors Hilton, we are given $26 discount against our bill. For under $20, after discount, it is so worth it. read more

This was one of the best meals we've had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. We had the filet mignon and surf & turf entrees. Lobster was delicious and steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Add to that the vegetables were tasty as well as the mashed potatoes and french fries. We ordered take out at the hostess station and she was very nice and helpful. Another visit down to OCMD and we figured that we would push our luck based on our decent experience last time and try breakfast here again. Everything here was actually very good again in terms of food. The service is a little on the slow side but that seemed like more of an understaffing issue rather than an apathy issue. What's most surprising is that the prices especially when combined with portion sizes are actually very reasonable considering what the local pancake houses charge for stuff that are in premise similar. Here's what matters: * If you're staying at the hotel (and I would assume that 99% of people eating here are) and if you're of a certain Hilton Honors level you're getting two vouchers to eat breakfast here free. Know that the boilerplate that the front desk tells you about the vouchers only being good for up to $9.95 per person has never applied. We've ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Breakfast Burrito which are each $12 without issue. * While I've never been here in season, the wait for things here is always a bit on the long side because seemingly there are only two or three servers on and the host staff likes to spread people out. * If you can, you want to sit in Stephen's (maybe Steven's?) section. Very accommodating in every way. I've never done lunch or dinner here which is more about the prices for those meals rather than the menu but I can testify that breakfast here is good. Our experience at 32 Palm started off really bad. We made a reservation for Christmas dinner and showed up 10 mins early. When we approached the hostess (old white lady) she was very rude! She told us we needed to wait until 8pm which was not a problem. After waiting there until 8:10 she told us our reservation was at 8:30 even though she already acknowledged it was at 8pm then proceeded to seat other people who came in after us! After this frustration we decided to just eat at the bar which turned out to be a great experience. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend trying 32 Palm but if you can avoid that hostess that would be best. The food and bar 5/5 but that initial experience -1/5. read more
