Friendly ambiance. Tapas style, small plates of food. Meat and cheese boards too. Nice selection of wines. Happy hour for drink specials. Very friendly service. Kind of pricey for what you get.

My first time at Salumi tonight and honestly, it was stellar. It's just such a chill, and vibey place. The bartenders/servers were really friendly and came by quickly to serve us. My friends and I shared the Italian and Spanish boards and they were both delicious! Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a board and some wine!

Very nice tapas bar. Food was excellent and the drinks were delicious. Favors of each dish were unique and refreshing. Would highly recommend the Dry-Aged Steak Board. To the best of my knowledge, the menu is seasonal. Service was amazing and attentive.

A fantastic wine and tapas bar with impeccable cozy vibes and the best charcuterie. While it's pretty unassuming from the outside, just a standard looking shopping block, but inside it's a high end wine bar. It's the right level of dim lighting, filled with wood tones and fun details. There's two rooms of seating, solid music, and the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. In addition to other tapas, they have two set charcuterie boards, the Italian and the Spanish. Both have a fantastic mix of incredibly high quality meats, cheeses, and fruits, and bread. The portions are massive, everything is delicious, and absolutely worth the price. I personally prefer the Italian Board, but you really can't go wrong with any of it. Overall, highly recommended for a date night!

The food here is very very good. My wife and I have been eating here for years. We have tried everything on the menu except for the drinks. Highly recommended

Originally visited because I love a good glass of Pinot Nior however was pleasantly surprised as the food is just as great. Visited for lunch with my husband and we decided to order sandwiches. I will start off by saying I am not usually a sandwich girl I don't love bread however this bread was different, not heavy, and tastes very fresh. I ordered the Gangnam sandwich and it is a must order if you love pork belly/bacon! My husband ordered the strasbourg sandwich he said it was well balanced and steak was cooked to perfect temperature. We ordered the garlic potatoes as a side I feel like a sandwich always needs a potato side. The garlic potatoes are on the brunch menu which you can order from everyday til 3pm! We also ordered dessert. The ricotta cheesecake is not too sweet which I like very light. Service was excellent I had a lot of questions and the server was attentive and patient, she allowed for a wine taste as we were not sure what to order. Rustic decor, great for a date!!!! I will definitely visit more often. I feel like it's a hidden gem!!

Cool place to relax after dealing with traffic! My only suggestion: offer a small snack plate for those sitting at the bar..olives, dates, bread, or nuts (keeping in line with the european theme). It would be nice for those who just want to enjoy a glass (or 2) of wine

This restaurant is part of Plancha Tapas. Restaurant located in Garden City. Could not get reservation at Plancha, so l booked at Open Table for early reservation it was available. The restaurant is little larger than Plancha. They have a open kitchen in second dining area, where you see chef preparing dishes. Need to scan Qr code for menu. The Tapas dishes and wine was excellent. We ordered olives, garlic shrimp, Iberian and serrano ham, arugula salad, octupus, steak board, and cheese platter. A knowledgeable waiter and excellent service. They also go by Salumi Cafe which serve lunch.

I cannot believe that such a gem exists in suburbia. I forgot that I was on Long Island as soon as I sat in the buttery light and rustic atmosphere of Salumi. Then came the tapas... Their Italian board is a flavor explosion of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments to satisfy all of your taste buds. Big bonus stars for the sour cherries and large capers that bring out the earthiness of the sheep's milk cheese infused with truffles. Their prosciutto chips are an elevated version of a chicarrón that will inspire everyone at the table to keep drinking...as tapas should absolutely do. Special thanks to the owner/host and our server for seating my group at an amazing table even without a reservation, and taking such good care of every aspect of our experience. If I lived on the island, I would be a regular.

My wife and I went to Salumi for lunch today. Everything was great. Perfect lunch! My wife summed it up -she's so tired of going out to eat and the food and experience is just "Meh." Today, she was happy we picked Salumi for lunch. No "Meh." We've been to Salumi many times. We've always had a great experience and great food. We've gone with family. I've gone on my good days when I was on chemo battling cancer. We've gone just for their Cappuccinos. We've eaten outside during the Pandemic. We've eaten inside in the restaurant and we've eaten in their neighboring marketplace. Let's get the business out of the way. Ample and easy parking. Nice looking and clean "Either Or" bathrooms. A really nice bar with great wine selections. Comfortable and sturdy seating. Big Guy Comfort Score of 8. There are tables and booths and a few tables on the sidewalk (those chairs are a bit tight). The service is always friendly, genuine, efficient and professional. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. Sort of a comfortable farmhouse bistro. Maybe? It's nice whatever it is. Let's get to the food. Salumi has a very interesting menu. They have a brunch section, meat and cheese boards, sandwiches and salads and a tapas selection. We've had the boards many times. Always delicious with a nice glass of wine. We've ordered the boards for entertaining at home or have brought it to a NYE party at my brother's. I love their empanadas - hard to find better. Probably the best Cappuccino in the area. I've had probably 20 Cappuccinos and never had a bad or bitter one. Exceptional! Today we shared the Burrata and Prosciutto Salad - amazing - and my wife had the Monte Cristo and I had the Croque Monsieur. Both sandwiches were very good. The fig jam served with the Monte Cristo is addicting. I could have eaten the entire bowl of the Salad - delicious Burrata and spectacularly salty Prosciutto with olives, Sundried tomatoes and expertly dressed arugula. And I started with a wonderfully delicious decaf Cappuccino. Yum! We had a nice conversation with the owner about Non Alcoholic Beer and other NA bevs., the status of the wine industry and the restaurant business in general. Super nice knowledgeable guy. He showed me the Spanish NAB they are currently serving. Next time. That's it. That's a well-deserved Five Star Review.

Never a disappointment. Nice place to go for a delicious Spanish cheese board and top with a nice bottle of wine. The staff are friendly and very accommodating.

When we first got there, the bartender was on point. After that, it took a 45 minutes to get a drink. We ordered the polenta and the octopus at first. The polenta came out cold and the octopus was delicious. They then took our order which was the blackend Seabass and lollipop lamb chops. After that, we no longer saw a bartender that tried to help us out. While we were waiting for our Seabass, we tried to order a drink, and every staff member was on their cell phone, not paying any attention to us. When the BlackSea bass came out my husband's first bite was a bone he choked on. I told him to give them the benefit of the doubt try a little more and he did. His second bite was this long stringy thing and started choking, and no one paid attention to him. I watched him pull it out of his throat and put it on his plate. I can't believe the owner would sit there and watch their staff be on their phones nonstop at the same time watch somebody choking on their food.. Good luck with your establishment, but we will no longer come here and I will also tell everyone not to come here.

Alibi is currently running a Harry Potter pop up, and if you know anything about me, you will know I am a HUGE fan. The Alibi was decorated beautifully and there were two really cute Photo Ops by "Platform 9 3/4" and the Wand Shop. Come here for the drinks! The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.

The meat and cheese boards have these peppers that provide the perfect acidic bite to cleanse your pallet. The pesto gnocchi is homemade, tender and fresh with herbs. The salads are large and full of Mediterranean goodness. The cocktails are amazing with some interesting flavor combinations. One of my favorites at the moment is a mezcal and beet drink. Their espresso martini is also one of the best I've had in the area. For dessert you have to try the tiramisu. It is served in a martini glass and tastes as good as it looks.
