    Espresso Martini & The Serenity
    Kristine T.

Such a cute wine bar! I ordered the Serenity cocktail and it was delicious & pink, my girlie got a phenomenal espresso martini and we split the brownie dessert. The bartenders were so sweet and nice, we'll definitely be back again this summer :) They had a seasonal cocktail menu and right now there are watermelon features that looked so good

If you know then you know.... Tell me what's wrong with this photo.

They promoted a "90's Hip Hop" Sunday brunch with a two-hour seating limit -- like it was still COVID times ‍. 1st: The music was good, but if you're advertising hip hop, that's what should be played. It was mostly 90's R&B. 2nd: The bar -- Old Fashioneds are made with a solid block of ice NOT multiple ice cubes. I get that it's not an easy drink to make, but come on -- the basics matter. 3rd: The service was awful. One waitress stood by the bar the entire time and never once came over to ask if we wanted another drink or anything else. I ended up having three drinks, but only because I kept flagging her down. And even then, she didn't bother to ask my husband if he wanted another. Service was terrible

Overall this is a pretty solid spot located right off the train in massapequa park. The food is very good id say, with the burrata, and flat breads being the best. The rice balls are also fire. Their dessert options are also very good. As far as the wine goes, there decent, not a huge selection, and they serve there red wines at room temperature, not the ideal 55 degrees. Service wise they are a bit slow and for a wine bar their servers have no clue about the wine their serving. The one bartender stated the malbec was from italy and the other could not describe the wine being served. Now this may sound small, but a wine bar should employee people that know wine. Overall though a good spot to try out if your local and looking for something different.

Decided to make reservations after seeing a video on Instagram about their hip hop brunch on sundays. Came in with a group of 5 and it was very loud- we were shouting at each other and could barely hold a conversation. We ordered drinks and I asked if one of the drinks that had coconut could be substituted for something else and the waitress said no. I asked if the drinks were premade and she said no - so then i asked why can't the bartender just not add the coconut puree? She went and asked the bartender and said that he could do it. obviously I knew he could not sure why she gave such a hard time about it. The food took forever to come out. I ordered the avocado toast and burrata, I also added grilled chicked to it. It was def not what I expected. I thought I would get a nice burrata ball on top -nope! And it was the whitest chicken I have ever seen. It had no flavor (see attached pics). I paid $25 for ONE piece of toast with guac and some pieces of burrata? With what looked like chicken that was possibly grilled early that day and then reheated. It definitely was not a fresh chicken cutlet. Overall, the drinks is what keeps this place open because that had to be the best espresso martini I've had. They should just stick to being a cocktail/wine bar and just serve flatbreads. It was obnoxiously loud and dark for no reason. The waitress was very nice but everything from the drinks and food took forever to come out. I recommend coming here for a drink before or after dinner. I would not recommend coming here hungry because you will be hangry waiting for your food and leave hungry with their ridiculously small portions.

We went and all the lights were off... this is the response. Went to the bar next door and saw that they didn't open until a little before 5pm. I guess a reservation and people's time does not matter. No response back after this.

    Ferraro rocher espresso martini

Michelangelo's Wine Bar is THE spot. Cocktails? Seriously the best. Always ask to hear the specials, they're always coming up with something insane (this Ferrero Rocher espresso martini?? unreal). Plates are on the smaller side but still big on flavor! Perfect for date night or just treating yourself. Get here. Trust!!!

Lavender Margarita (they are still trying to come up with a name)

Ordered a lavender margarita. the mixologist is amazing. His energy is positive. The vibe is cool. I also ordered the tuna tartare. It was ok but not worth the price. I would suggest to go for the flatbread or the salad with protein for the priceloint

Came here with a group of friends for Sunday brunch and I can't say enough about how good everything was! The cocktails were absolutely delicious, so creative and so beautiful! The food was wonderfully prepared, fresh, our group loved everything we got. I went for the avocado toast and everything from the perfectly runny eggs, to the amazingly fresh and crispy bread to the perfect avocado to arugula ratio were a hit. We also got the hummus plate and several desserts (Nutella panini, the baked brownie which was out of this world!). Service was fast, attentive, and polite. Looking forward to going back and trying their meat and cheese boards and more seasonal cocktails. Super cute place too, great friendly/family feel.

Well... I can't begin to explain how badly I had been dying to go to Michaelangelo's. I've followed their Instagram for months sending all their posts to my friends telling them we had to go. The cocktails are quite expensive which is to be expected being that its cocktail bar.. however it was a weird service experience in my opinion. We sat at the bar and waited a while to be acknowledged and receive menus which is fair because he was ringing someone else up. After getting menus we were ready to order cocktails quite quickly so we let him know what we wanted. About 10 minutes later a different gentleman came up to us asking what we wanted again and then proceeded to get started on them. Again, as someone who's worked in service industry, I understand you get side tracked or other things come up. However, the restaurant was almost empty and the first guy seemed like he was getting started on it and then kind of disappeared. Beside the service the cocktails presentation was fabulous. It's always fun treating yourself to something you wouldn't always go for but we were in agreement our cocktails were kind of mediocre for the price. The cocktail bar is cute as are the drinks, I just don't think I'd spring to go back so soon after learning how much the drinks are and feeling their taste was meh.

My last review was six years ago, and I'm happy to say Trento is still doing things right…read more We arrived around 6 PM on a Friday night and, as always, the huge parking lot is a big plus. On Long Island, easy parking can make or break a night out, and Trento definitely delivers there. We grabbed seats at the large, comfortable bar and enjoyed a couple glasses of wine. We let our server pick for us, and both choices were excellent. For food, we split the fig, gorgonzola, and prosciutto salad. Beautifully presented and full of flavor. For our entrée, we shared a pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage--another solid dish. But the real standout might have been the focaccia bread. Honestly, some of the best I've ever had--fresh, light, and incredibly delicious. Great food, a comfortable atmosphere, and nice to see a place remain consistently good after all these years. Nice job, Trento.

I have to get my Dad here. The Steak Tartare was outstanding!…read more I got together with some old friends I used to work with and my old boss recommended this place. So glad he did! Our waiter Kumar was excellent! On point with a great sense of humor. I thanked him for being so patient with us while we made up our minds on what to order and he said that's what he is. A WAIT er! Hahaha! Only Harold & I ordered apps. I got the steak tartare and Harold ordered the Kobe beef meatball which he shared with Pat. I tasted the meatball, it was so good. Huge but tender. But my steak tartare was the favorite dish of the night. I like the fact that the beef was finely cubed and the seasoning was different from others that I have had but quite delicious. The shredded truffle was a nice touch. The Stracciatella cheese was more abundant than expected but not overpowering. We all ordered different entrées, chicken Parm, a Seabass that was on special, the salmon dish and I got the veal chop All of us loved our dishes. I didn't taste the other entrées so I can't comment on them, but they all looked amazing but my Veal Chop was definitely worth coming back for! I love a good pounded veal chop, and the marsala sauce was delicious without being cloyingly sweet, which sometimes a marsala sauce can be. Also my Prickly Pear Margarita was delicious! Fruity & powerful! Sorry I haven't been here sooner. Thanks Harold! 2-27-2026

On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.

I've been to Main Street Patchogue a few times before and I'm always amazed at how it's now like Huntington, with tons of eateries, bars and places to hear live music. It was a busy late Spring Friday night and my cousin told me if we were there just two weeks later (ie, post Memorial Day), there would have been lines to get in anywhere. So make resos! I made one easily earlier that day and when we arrived around 7:30, it was not packed, but it is pretty loud in there even half full. Our waiter, Jonathan, expertly took such great care of us from start to finish, even taking my father's dad jokes in stride. There's a solid cocktail menu, but I had a couple glasses of a better-than-decent prosecco. My cousin loved his espresso martini. For food, count on a couple respectable vegan entrees and I went with the Japanese eggplant with cashew ricotta. The eggplant is delicious, slightly sweet with a creamy rather than chewy (thank god) texture. The cashew ricotta is also tasty, but I do think it needed to be blended a bit more to remove the slightly grainy texture (the cashews might have needed more soaking). My father loved his French onion soup and pastrami sandwich. Separate paragraph for the fries. They deserve it. I'm glad we ordered these to share- it's an enormous platter of them. I appreciated that they were salted perfectly. I appreciate restaurants that can make satisfy a variety of preferences and dietary restrictions. The vibe here is festive and vibrant and a great choice for groups and families.
