A lot of different things to choose from, resturaunt was clean, and the cashier was very nice. ordered a sampler with onion rings. the kitchen messed it up and gave me fries, but the girl up front noticed right away and fixed it quickly. the wings were pretty great, the turkey sub was fine. the cheesesteak was messy, with toppings pouring out, still tasted alright. should be wrapped better, i recommend asking them to. would love to check out the other stuff on the menu, its pretty big. read more

This is a cool lunch spot in a small strip mall. We had the #16 which was a combo of a philly, hoagie, 5 wings, fries and a drink. It was $14.89. It was SO MUCH FOOD! We shared it for 3 people. The fries was in a medium sized box by itself me the box was full. The wings were crispy and saucy at the same time. That's the perfect combination. We chose the Italian hoagie. It was awesome. The bread was good to hold the weight of the massive sandwich. There was so much filling that the sandwich could hardly stay together. My favorite was the Philly. It was much smaller than the hoagie but it packed a punch with flavor. This place is a definite return to. Good food and affordable too. What more can you ask for? read more

Extremely fast and friendly service. Food here is by far an underdog to some of the competitors in the neighborhood. I usually get the lamb gyro combo or the turkey burger combo. Both being delicious and very fulfilling. I order here while on my way to work and you can call ahead but literally nothing takes longer than 15 minutes to be prepared. The portions are enough for two people (if you're a light eater) and enough for one person to be completely full. The have daily specials so make sure to ask about those before you order. Other great items on the menu are the fish / chicken over rice with cheese, the 3 piece fried fish combo and the wing combo. read more

I ate there for the first time last Thursday for lunch, the food was quite delicious but the Spanish cashier was not friendly at all and kept coughing and not washing or sanitizing her hands. This was such a turn off! She wasn't just taking money for food but actually presenting the food to customers. Every last one of the tables in the lobby was dirty and no one came out to clean them as customers were coming in and sitting down to eat. I thought this was very unprofessional and unacceptable. The menu has great selections and I'd definitely like to go back as I work in the area now but I will definitely be a little hesitant after this unpleasant experience as well as the fact that there's 5-6 other restaurants all in this same plaza to choose from first. read more

I frequent Gutbuster's quite often because it is very close to my job. It's rare that I have a complaint about the food; I enjoy almost everything on their menu. The chicken philly is awesome! The service is not always something to rave about, but I have gotten to know the cashiers individually and they are all sweet girls. They get super busy around lunch time so I can imagine them being swamped. I also place large to go orders with them every few weeks and they always do an excellent job at filling my order correctly and fast. I am a fan! read more

The lamb over rice was delicious. The spices were layered, the lamb was tender. I went back the next morning for breakfast, I enjoyed all of it. You pay for a sizable portion at an affordable price. Each meal will last you at least 2 days. read more

The chicken philly always comes on a hoagie where the top of the hoagie is soggy-wet. It's gross (the hoagie). The ice machine looks like it has mold growing in the ice chute. DON'T GO! I left church last night with my 10 yr old son; and we needed a quick bite to eat before getting home on a school night. I saw this place and figured it would be perfect to grab a quick sandwich. WRONG! We walked in the door at 8:51 and was reviewing the menu when the girl behind the counter yelled out.."We're closed!". I replied, but the door is open and it says you close at 9:00 PM. She repeated, "We're closed". I asked could they make a sandwich, she said "what kind". I said turkey. Then she mumbled something to the cooks and evidently did not get a favorable response from them. Then she told us again, "sorry we're closed". That wasn't nice. We left. I was referred here by one of my business partners so I decided to stop in today after my workout. As I came in, I noticed the next door spot (veggie busters) so I went over there and ordered and then came back to Gut Busters and ordered. Demetrius took my order and it was a very unpleasant first time experience, he is unprofessional and uses extreme facetious communication tactics while taking orders that makes the ordering process very awkward. I would recommend him being the cook or somewhere within the business, if anywhere, where his skill set could be of use. Michael I hope you are notified of this and make the necessary changes. -- him asking me if I belong to a church, in which I do, then as I'm getting ready to leave he facetiously say "God Bless you SIR" was very uncomfortable, especially when you know it's not genuinely being said. Overall the food was good but they need a new cashier. I am hoping the receipt has his name right, short guy, short hair, wears a silver ring on his finger, southern accent. read more

I went to school in the AUC so I was blessed to have experienced the original Gutbusters on Lee St, which has made me rather snobbish about cheesesteaks in general. After the original closed over 10 years ago, satellite locations have opened up in various areas across the city so I was excited to have one in my current neighborhood. Unfortunately, the Cascade location very much pales in comparison to the original. While not bad, the cheesesteaks just don't have the same charm and flavor as they used to and I can't quite put my finger on what's different about them. My only guess is that the first location was run by the original owners whereas the newer ones are run by past workers who may be adding a different flair. Like a crack head, I always go back hoping that this experience will be like the first hit but I only end up disappointed and mad at the calories I wasted. If I just HAVE to have a cheesesteak (because there's only a certain style I like), then I may stop through but I always prepare myself for disappointment. read more

What the hell happened to them!!! Have they been bought out or what, I use to love them. I went there last night 9-23-16 at 9:20pm. and they messed up my order. I ordered onion rings not fries and took them up to the cashier and they made me go get my receipt to prove it, REALLY! The cook took the fries out of my box with his hands and tossed them back in the bowl of hot fries and a few in the trashcan, like they were going to be put on another plate. They did my order of onion rings, called me back up and the order was burned " looked like a roll of black electrical tape." and smelled burned. I told the girl those are burned and she thought that I was Boo-boo the fool and said "No they not!" Alright lady I'm not taking those. So they dropped another order and they were fine. Now It's time to eat my cheese-steak since it's getting luke warm and the meat was burned I'VE NEVER HAD A CHARRED CRUNCHY CHEESE-STEAK BEFORE IN MY LIFE!! I hope that no-one got my returned fry's but I did see 2 other people take their boxes back up to the counter not looking happy and I did not feel like begging for them to make things right. So I left them to not return and I am letting them know with this review and telling my friends that go there unless they go back to the way they use to be. I eat here all the the time they have great food and terrible customer service! I always call my order in because they have ridiculous wait times! If I don't check my order its always wrong and then throw you attitude and shade and start talking in Spanish. I really don't like to be disrespected when mistakes are made I like apologies refunds and things of that nature never at this place so if you eat here and you do it to go order make sure you check your phone before you go because if you don't they will not replace it they will tell you that's what you called in! read more
