Philly was awesome with all of its toppings; including jalapeño, sweet relish, banana peppers, onion, & yes the ketchup which I was very nervous about. Literally, a flavor bomb exploding in my mouth.... sweet, tangy, spicy, savory... it was so good! The fries are nothing special. Frozen, fried, and sprinkled with some seasoning to top it off. There's a consistent flow of patrons dining in and carrying out, Open parking, and about a 5 minute wait for me. Friendly staff joking around with some of the regulars too. The food is good but the service is really bad. I repeatedly tried to call between 10:30 and 11 o'clock in the morning to place an order for pick up. I have been hung up on repeatedly. If it happened one day and not the other you would think maybe they are shorthanded but it has repeatedly happened over and over for months. It's obvious that the employees are just lifting up the phone and hanging up. What a terrible way to do business. Today I called and the young lady asked me for my order and then said hold on. Four minutes later the phone went dead. If you can't handle the phone get an answering machine that says you can't take phone in order. Hanging up on your customers and leaving them on hold is bad business. I will now go out of my way to go anywhere but here. We will no longer use them for company functions either. This is a place that never fails to make me happy. I ordered the #10. French Toast, Bacon, Grits (no eggs for me). As always, the food was in abundance. The freshness was A1 and the service was stellar as always. Don't ever go in a rush as the line is always long. However, it moves rather quickly and the food is worth the wait. read more

Gawd! This is a Steve Special right here. A gem! My now go to place on a list of *Team Portions*. I love what they bring to the table as far as food variety at a low cost. I haven't had the opportunity to try their breakfast yet. The wings are "ok" I like the fact you can get several of them generally cheaper than the compeition. I found myself at Gutbuster's for lunch this week as it got some decent reviews on Yelp. I ordered the beef philly cheese steak as the reviews said theirs was pretty good. It was just okay to me. It comes with and assortment of peppers and onions, mayo, mustard, and ketchup. I've heard of mayo on a philly, but ketchup?? No thanks. The bread was nothing special and I found that there was a lot of it that swallowed up the meat. Also, I tasted a lot of salt and not that much flavor, if you get my drift. Anyway, I got the meal which comes with french fries and a drink for about $7. It's frozen fries out of a bag. I'm not taking out my pen and paper to write home about any of this. There is better out there. Gutbuster's serves breakfast as well and from the looks of it, the breakfasts are good and inexpensive. I will go back to try a breakfast out. They also serve burgers and wings at this joint. It's a small spot with a few tables if you want to eat in. When I went, several tables were occupied and several were unoccupied, but dirty. So, again, I do want to try their breakfast and maybe it will blow me away. For the time being though, I'm planted on 3 stars and the wind is blowing, but I'm not moving. read more

I liked this place the moment I walked through the door before I even tried the food. It's very busy here but the staff is on top of it, they move fast while still providing excellent service by being polite and attentive. By the time you get your drink your food is ready. Everything was hot and fresh, seasoned well and delicious. I ordered the 3pc fish, it came with fries and a drink. My baby ordered 15pc hot wings and a drink, I gave him my fries. Everything came up to 20$, the prices are freaking great!! We will definitely be back and we can't wait to try the breakfast. read more

I work down the street and this is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. The food is cheap, fast, and hearty. Certainly not gourmet or worth a specific trip, but consistently good. I'm personally not a fan of the Philly, but I do love their rice combos (shrimp, chicken or lamb) and the honey BBQ wings. Their parking lot sucks and is challenging to maneuver - I wish the landlord would repave & repaint. read more

Food is ok for the money. The customer service is mediocre until you have a problem. I placed and paid for a catered order to be picked up on Christmas Eve before the closed of business. I was unable to pick up the order and when I came to pick it up the day after Christmas ( they were closed on Christmas ) the manager informed me that my order had been thrown out ( which I find difficult to believe ) and I will not receive a refund. I left a message for the the owner and sent an email. He has not responded to my emails or phone calls. I find this extremely disturbing because I paid for a product I never received. There is no All Sales are Final or No refund policy on their website. They have basically robbed me of my money and the manager had a nonchalant attitude about the whole situation. This will probably be one of my favorite spots when I'm in that area! I ordered the shrimp and lamb over rice but they ended up not having the lamb so I went with chicken. They were too busy and it didn't take long at all. I was not expecting as much food as I got and it was full of flavor. The chicken and shrimp were well seasoned and the onions and bell peppers sautéed nicely. The rice was cooked well also. The location is nice and it was clean. The customer service was good, no complaints. I did not eat in because I was in a hurry. Overall, I think the only problem for me is the distance from my house. The breakfast was so good, decided to come back the next day and try the chicken Philly subs. Received sandwhich with aluminum foil from when it was broken in half using their hands instead of a knife. Had to pick thru sandwich to make sure my child didn't swallow anything extra besides food. Gave the sandwhich back and they just picked out the pieces of aluminum foil and still missed a few pieces. The fries weren't fresh, precooked and just dropped in oil to "heat up" but were burnt and extra crispy. Let's not even talk about my moms order.
