A colleague and I stopped by Guy Fieri's in Branson to grab a bite to eat and unwind for the evening. The restaurant is somewhat tucked away behind Bass Pro Shops along the shopping strip, but it's definitely worth seeking out. We decided to sit at the bar, and Jazz immediately took great care of us. She quickly got us a couple of cold beers, handed us menus, and made us feel welcome from the start. Friendly, attentive service always makes a difference, and Jazz did an excellent job throughout our visit. I wasn't overly hungry, so I ordered the Cheesy Burger, while my colleague went with the Bacon Mac & Cheese Burger. When our food arrived, we both realized we may have underestimated the portion sizes. These burgers were huge! They were packed with flavor, cooked well, and loaded with toppings. Even with healthy appetites, we could only finish about half of our meals and ended up taking the rest with us for later. As we were enjoying our food, we noticed an eerie fog bank slowly rolling across the lake. It created a unique and almost surreal backdrop that made the evening even more memorable. Between the beautiful scenery, perfect weather, excellent service, and delicious food, it turned into one of those unexpected dining experiences that sticks with you. We've visited quite a few restaurants featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives over the years, but this was our first time at one of Guy's own restaurants. I can't say for certain, but it doesn't seem like there's anything under 1,000 calories on the menu. If you're watching your waistline or trying to avoid ordering a side of angioplasty, this may not be your place. My five-year-old loved the mac and cheese topped with Goldfish crackers, but after a few bites he abandoned it and started helping himself to my wings. His verdict was that he was "too full of Flavortown." A little more balance in the dish might have made it a bigger hit for him. Speaking of the wings, the buffalo version was good... better than your average sports-bar wings. The wasabi blue cheese dressing was unique and paired nicely with them. The heat level was fairly mild, though, so if you're looking for more of a kick, you may want to explore some of the other sauce options. My wife enjoyed her burger, particularly because the donkey sauce gave it a distinctive flavor. She appreciated that it wasn't just another smashburger, which seems to be all you can find these days. The beer selection was decent, although several taps were empty during our visit. Fortunately, I still found something that suited my taste. Portion sizes were enormous. Despite not having eaten since lunch nearly eight hours earlier, all three of us left plenty of food on our plates-- except for the wings, which disappeared quickly. We were so full that dessert wasn't even a consideration. Overall, this restaurant fits its setting perfectly. One slightly odd moment at the end: our server handed us a card encouraging a review, which is totally fine, but it also included a religious message ("Jesus saves"). My husband and I were visiting Branson on our anniversary, and stopped here. A lady on the cruise we were recently on suggested it. Walking in the hostess was very friendly and attentive. The place is huge and very spacious. They even had windows that you could see in the kitchen, which appeared to be as big as half the restaurant. Once we were seated, our super friendly server was there to take our drink order and she gave a quick run down of the menu. We both decided to go with the burgers. I had the Philly Bomb Burger. The presentation was definitely enough to make your mouth water. It did not disappoint the burger was good. Although it was good it would have been great if it would have had some sauce on it (if it was some, I didn't taste it see it) like Heinz 57 and a tad bit of salt. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, but they didn't taste hot or fresh, and the special sauce that came with them was almost cold, as if it had been sitting out for a while. After over 45 minutes of being at the restaurant when our food came we asked our waitress to pack it to go as we had reservations for MJ at 8pm (we arrived at the restaurant approximately 630pm). The waitress, who was lovely, got the manager who insisted on comping our meal and had everything boxed up for us to go. We ended up eating our sandwiches the next day and even tho they were a "day old" the food was wonderful. I just wish we were able to eat it hot at the restaurant. Took a bit to get seated but understandable since it was Black Friday and we had a party of six. Nice American bar style restaurant that is very open and clean with plenty of TVs around the bar area. Our waitress was able to give good suggestions for food since it was our first visit. The pineapple habanero margarita was tasty, some people in the group did not like the pulp in the drink, but I didn't mind, just wish I had a little bit more alcohol. The blackened salmon was phenomenal and perfectly cooked, wished that I had a little bit more of it. I got a side of the hot honey sauce (OMG that stuff should be bottled) and drizzled it over the salmon for a little extra kick since I like spicy. The "dirty" fried rice added an Asian flair to the meal and complimented the salmon very well. My only complaint is that I wish this restaurant was closer to St. Louis, Missouri. read more

Huge Guy fan and was so excited to taste his menu once the waiter told us this was a scratch kitchen and everything is homemade. Their bourbon wings were very delicious. Great flavor, not too saucy. Their trash can nachos are supposed to be the main item. We ordered one as an appetizer to share for the table and it didn't end up coming out until after our entrees were delivered and we were almost done eating them. Nachos were smaller than we all thought. Tasted like normal nachos you would get anywhere. Couldn't really taste or see what made them stand out being at Guy's restaurant. Service was sad.
