Airport ambience. Hostess was barely a one and was mostly seated the whole time I was there...saw lack of engagement with customers walking away after a time. I was on East Coast time so hungry for lunch at breakfast time here....left and came back after the 15 minutes to switch over. My waiter was awesome... polite engaging, very attentive. I saw other awesome waitstaff as well. The best value on the menu if you are tight on funds is the chicken tortilla soup...Delicious. $12 I got the wings ....on the bone.. 8 pieces. $18.95 I thought that was a good value as well. I was excited to try Guy Fieris restaurant so I stopped in. The staff was friendly so I give them 5 stars. The food not so much. The fries came out cold and the waffle fries had an unusual taste. The fries come mixed and the potato wedges tasted better. I also asked for buffalo sauce on the side but it did not taste like buffalo sauce. Not sure what that was! Monday night at around 8:45pm. Bartender tells us to order on the QR code. QR code doesn't work. She pours me a beer. My wife says she needs another minute. Bartender walks out of the bar, sits down at a table to chat with another co-worker. Stays there for 15 minutes and proceeds to pay no attention to us or anyone else at the bar. The few interactions preceding this were rude and snappy. Second bartender on the other side is completely oblivious to our side of the bar and won't even look up at us; on her phone most of the time. Seeing as that my wife was not able to order a drink, we got up and left. This was beyond poor service, it was embarrassing. These are the kind of employees that cost businesses money. read more

We were curious about Guy Fieri's kitchen. Our flight left from Terminal C with the Kitchen being located in Terminal A. We took the shuttle, (there is also an Airbus) from one terminal to another. I don't believe it is walkable. Many shuttles run often so if you miss one, usually there is another in the queue. It's less than a 5 min ride. The Kitchen is not listed on the directory yet easily found on the main floor once you depart the shuttle. We were seated quickly and given menus. We decided on the chicken tenders and nachos. When the food arrived, the nachos came in a metal tube that was open on either end. The server then removes the tube and out pop the packed nachos with jalapeños, cheese and protein. Wow, it looked like a mile high nacho plate. The Chicken tenders were exactly that; very tender and good. The tenders came with ranch dressing, BBQ sauce and ketchup. Three types of fries were included waffle, home fries and regular fries. I didn't care for the waffle fries as they were too crunchy. The other fries were good especially the home fries. During my layover, it was time to eat, and this happened to be right on my path and if it's Guy's, I knew it would be good! I approached the host stand and was immediately seated. You will be given a menu and you can order with the wait staff or scan the QR Code and order. I actually ordered my drink with the waitress and scanned the QR code for my meal and the waitress was able to see that in ordered that way and add my drink to my bill that way where I also cashed out right on my phone. I ordered too much food, but I live by the motto "treat yo' self!" and truthfully couldn't decide between the pulled pork and nachos (I've been on a nacho kick I can't seem to shake!). I also didn't realize the pulled pork came with fries as it didn't say so on the menu. The pulled pork came with a generous portion (as it should) and the fries were a trio of string, waffle, and wedge cut. The fries were bland and I decided they weren't worth the fill. The pulled pork was decent. I don't have any complaints but for the price it didn't blow me away. But you know, it IS the airport after all ... except higher prices. My true love were the nachos! They were fantastic! I chose to only eat some of my sandwich so I could fill up on the nachos! They come in this interesting tin barrel thing that gets pulled off to reveal your perfection, with flavor packed in each bite! The QR menu will allow you to take off items you don't like (for me it was no beans!). So if I had to recommend something, I would definitely say go with the nacho! Some people may not think it is a meal, but do you really think fries and a bun with your meat is much different? I don't think so! read more

Decent burgers. Definitely not worth the price, but when you're stuck at the airport, you don't have a lot of options. If you have time to kill and you're on an expense account, hang out and have a few drinks. If you're paying for this yourself and getting a meal for the plane, I would miss this place. Be careful to not order double fries. I ordered to go from the kiosk and it asked if I wanted to add fries. I was later told that the burger already comes with fries. I was offered to replace my $8 order of fries with an already overpriced $5 bottle of water or soda. This seems like a common mistake as people before me and after me did the same thing. The burger it self was pretty good, but certainly not worth $30, with or without overpriced fries. You end up paying for the space and the decor even with the to go order. read more

Their menu was definitely American at the core and they also had interesting cocktails. It's more carnivore focused so not the best for vegetarians/vegans but there are still options. I must mention the fries. They come out with an assortment of standard fries, steak cut, and waffle fries. Variety is the spice of life and they had it covered! read more

Oh my God, what an excellent experience we are flying out of Newark today, April 26, 2025 and we always get to the airport early and get something to eat and as we're walking to gate 830 we see Guy Fieri's kitchen and bar and I gotta tell you we ordered the nachos and they were actually amazing. The presentation was incredible. They are not your normal nachos. They are just over the top. Pattie got a drink and I got my standard Jamison and Ginger. She got the blue caterpillar and it was good. Here's the best part our waiter name was HANEEF and he was absolutely amazing I have to tell you if we're ever in the airport again and we have a few hours even if we're in another internal terminal we're probably gonna come over here and eat guys just amazing And what's really cool is we are leaving to go to Port Canaveral to a cruise on Carnival Venezia and they have a Guys burger place on Lidosdeck and it is amazing read more

We went to the prepared foods section, with stuff in the refrigerator and snacks available, nothing special. Tried the Chicken Caesar Wrap and it was fine. Everything pretty overpriced, as expected in the airport. Wouldn't go again or really recommend; the chains are probably a better bet for takeout food to eat on the plane. read more

Located in Terminal A in the Newark airport is the perfect stop for drinks, phenomenal Butgers and Chicken dishes as well as comfort and a chance to catch any sporting event while waiting for your flight. Our server was terrific. He took our order immediately as we ordered our Savignon Blanc & oz serving and one of the best burgers I've had on a long time. The Big Phillly Burger was delicious Shaved Ribeye with. carmalized onions , provolone cheese, bell pepper with crispy onion straws and a Brioche bun. This is an airport rest at an airport that doesn't have very many sit down options. It was decent. Unfortunately bc of the name I expected more. Service is as service can be at an airport. Just ok. Our waitress, Shelley, was amazing. So sweet and hospitable, she started our trip off with good vibes. The food was delicious- we ordered the Big Burrito and the Avocado Toast. The Big Burrito came with homestyle potatoes and was true to its name a big portion packed with all the delicious ingredients. It was very flavorful. The Avocado Toast had plenty of avocado and was topped with a delicious pico de gallo and pickled onions on the side. The avocado had no fillers either which was great. For flights departing out of the left wing of Terminal A, this bar seems to be one of the few that are in the vicinity of the area. One that doesn't require venturing out to the center wing of the terminal. I didn't have any food, but at least the drink options seemed decent. Nice wrap around bar so there are plenty of seats available. I think the kitchen wraps up around 9pm or so, so plan ahead if needed. For rookies in aviation, ignore the branding of the stock restaurants & bars in any airport as that is often a licensing deal only and is almost never actually a representation of the respective restaurant itself. read more

This is really a 3 1/2-star review, but Yelp doesn't allow half-stars. When you eat at the airport, you need a certain level of expectations. Expect the prices to be high and the service to be meh. Just awful! We decided to stop here for a bite before our flight at Newark Airport. First of all service was terrible. One server for the whole place. Wasn't busy, but she seemed overwhelmed. Took awhile to take our order. We ordered a salad with grilled chicken and chicken tenders. Took over half an hour to deliver our meals. The salad didn't seem fresh , like a pre packaged salad that was a day late to use. Chicken in salad also seemed pre-made reheated. My chicken tenders were also pretty bad. Over cooked and hard. Asked for refills on water, never got it. Now it was getting close to our flight and I just couldn't find waitress to get check. Had to walk over to bar maid for help. Hi A few months ago, i sent a review about everything i thought about the overprice eatery, lack of service overall not a place i choose to eat. Well last week being the lack of restaurants i decided to try it again. Well, I'll say the service was better, but they still haven't with a few other issues. If you're going to charge high prices the food needs to be fresh. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was tasty, but the Chichén seemed reheated and swimming in sauce. The fries were very old and if i wasn't in a hurry i would have sent it back. What really got me very concerned that the restaurant closed off half of the seats forcing everyone to be seated all together. Finally, the server didn't tell us there was a 20 percent tip put on the order i forgot to check and i added another tip. My view it's a waste of money.
