Had a fantastic experience at Gymkhana at the Aria. We had a late reservation around 8:45pm, but it was well worth it. The service is top notch and the food is incredible. The space is very dark and low lighting. Like you're transported back in time. We started off with the Beetroot Chops Paos and the bread basket. Fantastic flavor and textures. For our mains, we got the Chicken Butter Masala and the Venison Biryani. The presentation and the flavors were out of this world. We paired our meal with a Kabinett Riesling. Overall, it was alot of food for two people and we had alot of left overs. We were so full for dessert, but I appreciated them bringing a small dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommend if you're in Las Vegas. It is very pricy though - $200 for our whole meal. read more

Went to Gymkhana last night and it did not disappoint! We were nervous about the food and service issues bc of the most recent reviews BUT from start to finish it was a great experience. Nikolai and Mark gave us great recommendations and were just the nicest guys! Wagyu Naan- it is spicy but if you can handle a jalepeno than you can handle this level. It's rare to see beef on an Indian restaurant menu, so we had to try it. Kasoorie Chicken Tikka- the chicken was so moist. I didn't really care for the cucumber salad that comes with it though. I used some of the raita from the wagyu naan to dip it in and it was perfect. Mushroom and Truffle Pilaf- I don't really like rice dishes but this was a potential death row meal! You could smell the truffle and the mushrooms were not slimy at all (I'm a texture person). We got the pomegranate raita with it and that combination is gold! Lamb Shank Rogan josh- the lamb was following off the bone. The meat was so tender and not gamey at all. We got the butter naan and the Malabar paratha to sop up all the deliciousness. At the end they gave us Mukhwas covered chocolate that I may have to recreate at home. Perfect ending to the night! There were 3 of us and this was plenty of food for us. We had leftovers too which unfortunately could not take bc no microwaves in our room. Gymkhana will definitely put you in a food coma so don't wear anything too tight lol. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Gymkhana. There was a lot of hype surrounding it, so perhaps my expectations were a little too high. The appetizers were delicious I tried the pani puri and aloo chaat, and both were very good. The main courses were also enjoyable. The daal was excellent, and the butter chicken was flavorful, although it was a tiny bit too salty for my taste. Dessert was the weakest part of the meal, as I wasn't a big fan of the falooda. The drinks, however, were fantastic the Pina-Col-Lassi was amazing and easily one of the highlights of the evening. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and they absolutely nailed the ambience. After all the hype around the Michelin-starred concept, how difficult reservations supposedly were, and waiting nearly a month to get in, we arrived dressed to the nines expecting a pretty exclusive experience. The food delivered. Everything we tried was delicious, and as someone who doesn't typically enjoy spicy food, I really appreciated how well the team guided me toward dishes that suited my palate and accommodated my preferences. You can definitely smell the spices when you walk in, although it felt more subtle and refined than at many Indian restaurants. Where it lost a star for me was the exclusivity factor. While waiting near the host stand, I watched a couple walk in fairly casually dressed, ask if they could get a table without a reservation, and they were accommodated. After being led to believe reservations were nearly impossible to secure, it made the month-long wait and sense of scarcity, luxury and exclusivity feel a little manufactured. Still, beautiful space, excellent food, and very good service. Definitely worth experiencing, just perhaps not quite the impossible-to-get-into event the hype had me expecting. read more

One of my favorite restaurants ever!! I've been to the London location as well and this was very comparable. The staff were incredibly sweet and interactive. The restaurant itself is filled with art, culture, traditions and just this elegant feel. It's iconic. The food was amazing and personally being Punjabi and being able to find a restating that truly brings out our flavors well is tough but Gymkhana does it. I believe the london location was a bit spicer which is what I was expecting but maybe it was just that one dish. I absolutely loved it. Each dish was made to perfection - loaded with flavors in each bite. We were celebrating and they gave us a dessert for it and we added on the gulab jaman which was warm and so good. The restaurant is dark lit and have a romantic atmosphere. Music can be loud so just beware. Great customer service. Our waiter, the water servers, and the sommelier were all super nice and knowledgeable. Food wise - we ordered a variety of dishes to try. It was a bit too much food for 2 but it was nice and we enjoyed it. All the dishes we ordered except for the lamb shank Rogan Josh were great. Where do I begin? I came here for the first time about 6 months ago and it was so amazing that I came back 2 times that week. My friend and I came tonight and I think this time was even better than those other times! I didn't think it could get better. The food was out of this world, and I can't recommend the Morel Mushrooms and Truffle Pilaf enough!! It was phenomenal and even better than the biryani! It was full of truffles, mushrooms, and caramelized onions (which we loved). I would definitely get this again and wish I could order this anytime I want! The service was top notch as usual!! Heard about Gymkhana months ago, and was really excited to finally try this place with a couple friends. I was looking forward to their tasting menu, but they didn't have that the night we went unfortunately. The interior space is gorgeous so you're definitely paying for aesthetics here as well. Very dark inside though and some people had trouble reading the menu as is. Our server was helpful in suggesting how much to order for the 3 of us and how many items from each section of the menu to order from as well. Absolutely loved how we were able to share everything. I started off with their version of a lychee martini. So small and so concentrated of alcohol. Pretty good strong drink right there. Foodwise, we tried the following items - Gol Guppas - fried wheat puffs, potatoes & moong lentil sprouts, mint & cumin water - This was a fun dish where we poked a hole through the puffs and filled it ourselves and poured the spicy liquid in there. Delicious as well. Wagyu Keema Naan - spiced wagyu mince, cucumber & cumin raita - So good when it was freshly warm. Came with 4 pieces. Tandoori Masala Lamb Chops - red chili, ginger, fenugreek, garum masala, walnut chutney - This was one of their "MP" items and it ended up being $98 that night. The lamb was really tender and I enjoyed the spicy crust, but some people found it way too spicy. Chicken Butter Masala - Tandoor-roasted chicken thighs, tomato, fenugreek & cream sauce - Expected it to be the best butter chicken ever, but it was alright. Not really worth it IMO. Morel Mushrooms & Truffle Pilaf biryani - saffron pilaf rice, truffle, cucumber & cumin raita - One of our fave dishes that evening. Lovely presentation and really good on texture and flavor. Went well with the raita and the curry as well. Garlic & coriander Naan - One of our friends fave things of the evening. Really good naan! Chocolate & Chai Millefeuille - Chai infused milk chocolate mousse, dark chocolate whipped ganache, Chai gelato - Pretty unique and tasty dessert. Various mousse and we enjoyed the chai gelato. Overall, the meal was delicious. The Beet Pao is still my favorite dish on the menu out of all the vegetarian options we've tried. Our party wanted to try the Gol Guppas, so I had the opportunity to have them again. While they were good, I still feel that, for what the dish is, they're not worth the price. The Pappadum Selection, on the other hand, offers more of a tasting experience with its variety of pappadums and chutneys. The Gol Guppas don't provide that same sense of value. The Dal Maharani (black lentils) was just as good as the first time. We also tried the Aloo Chaat for the first time, and it was excellent. In addition, we ordered the Saag Makai, Kashmiri Aubergine Bharta, and Methi Malai Mutter Paneer, all of which were enjoyable. The service, compared to our first visit, was noticeably different and felt a bit off. We were lucky to get reservations for 9:30pm for this hyped up restaurant! The process of getting a table was smooth. Staff was friendly and the host definitely had a personal touch with addressing you by your name which I liked. Got seated to our table quickly. We went about 15 min before our reservation. We were able take pictures outside of the restaurant with their iconic Rolls Royce. Ambiance is awesome! The decor, the vibe, and the music was all 10 out of 10. The restaurant lighting is low to have that Las Vegas club vibe. Our waiting staff was friendly, made some recommendations, and took care of us. Now for the food ..a review by an Indian on Indian food. For appetizers we ordered the gol guppas and wagyu keema naan. They were both delicious. For the main items we ordered the Goan Lobster curry, the morel mushroom and truffle pilaf, and beef short rib pepper fry. All were delicious. Portion size is good and can fill you up quickly. We were stuffed and we had a good time. We focused on the beef dishes because it is rare at Indian restaurants to prepare beef dishes. When in a group we got to try multiple dishes sharing family style. If you go as a couple highly recommend to do the tasting menu to try a variety of dishes. Prices: it is an expensive restaurant. Can you get similar tasting food just as delicious some place else? Of course you can! But you can't duplicate the ambiance, vibe, and location. It is a great experience to come and try it out. But for me, I have gotten this off my bucket list. Cocktails: Patiala Peg is delicious if you like old fashions then this is the drink to get. Had been hearing about this place for some time, so when I knew we'd be in Vegas I was sure to book a reservation 45 days out when they open. Super low key entrance in the lobby of Aria but once you walk in you're immediately hit with good vibes - music, dim mood lighting, artwork, and lots of textures. There were two tasting menu options, we did the $195 premium vault menu which ended up being an insane amount of food - had to take some back to the room with us! The gol guppas, fried shrimp and scallop, and lamb chops were the standouts for me. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. My only dislike - I didn't care for the lobster curry - it was oddly fishy tasting. For drinks - solid menu offerings, I really enjoyed the bagheera, mezcal drink with spicy/citrusy/herbaceous notes. Got two of these (despite the steep price tag)! Overall, really well worth the visit. 4.5 stars! So many great flavors and good vibes and attentive service. This spot is swanky and vibey. Def come hungry if you do the tasting menu, which they don't readily advertise. Be warned, though, you'll have tons to take home. For Chase Sapphire Reserve members who book through The Edit, this spot also qualifies for the $100 resort credit as a participating restaurant at the Aria. For ambiance, there's tons of artwork to look at, along with the loud bumping music that goes from Indian to Hip Hop to EDM. Super clubby vibe and a little hard to hear each other. For tasting menus, they've got one at $165 and the other at $199 per person, the main difference is that the former has butter chicken and the latter features their deliciously tender lamb chops, lobster curry, and stir-fried beef. We opted for the $199 option and loved most of the dishes. It's served family-style and for two, some of the servings felt massive. Lots of flavor in each course and great accoutrements. Loved the Gol Guppas (wish they came with at least one more serving each of this). It's interactive and packed with flavor, spice, and texture. Could've done with a smaller portion of the shrimp and scallops. While delicious, it comes with 3 pieces of each and for 2 people, easy to be overwhelming, specially with the heavier dill cream cheese it comes with. Lamb chops were amazing and so glad we got it. So tender, you could probs cut with a spoon and fork. Tandoori Masalla and served with a walnut chutney. Lobster curry and beef short rib pepper fry were both delicious, and while I usually enjoy seafood more, I surprisingly loved the short rib pepper fry as it was cooked so well that the meet just fell apart, yet held its shape in the sauce. Black lentil daal, saag makai and that bread basket-bomb. My fave of the bread basket was the paratha, flakey and reminiscent of a flattened croissant but breadier. They kindly boxed up our leftovers (plenty of it) and even gave us a little extra dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We killed time by getting a drink nearby since they did not suggest grabbing a drink in their restaurant. I brought the rest of my wine in the restaurant and they told me I couldn't. We got seated and had ok service, but nothing like the London location. Decor was just ok. We ordered the lamb chops, butter chicken, naan and kachumber. The only thing that was good was the butter chicken. We got three lamb chops for $95. Mine was tender but the other two were so hard and chewy that we couldn't even chew it. This location is not like the original in London. The quality of food is lower with less attentive service. The lighting is dark and they play good music which is a plus. We had a reservation for 10pm and were told that our seating was running late and to return at 10:15pm. Meanwhile we went to get a drink from outside and later were told we had to finish it prior to being sat. The entire group was really excited to try the lamb chops but they were overly chewy and while had they good flavor the chewiness made them inedible. The butter chicken was good but not amazing and for the price better butter chicken can be had elsewhere. The chacumber had pieces of moong in it and a bitter taste, a skip IMO. The bread basket was delicious but for $22 dollars a bit pricey. Overall I will save my future gymkhana trips for the London location which we thought was spectacular and skip this location in Vegas. read more

I was excited to try Gymkhana as it's very difficult to get a res here and I tried earlier this year. The space is beautiful. It has a very intimate feel and you forget you're inside of a casino. The service was excellent. Very attentive and helpful throughout the meal. While good, the food is at such a premium you really expect an elevated experience and that just wasn't delivered. Three pieces of lamb chops. $95. Butter chicken. $48. Cocktails. $26. Chai tea. $15. Our bill for two ended up being $390 and we ordered a la carte. The portions also feel very small. The lamb chops were very tasty. The butter chicken was not bad. But over and over again on the menu it feels like they are taking the customer for a ride. I'm glad I got to try Gymkhana but I don't think I'll return. I would like to try the Michelin starred one in London to see how they compare. read more

Ok, the is a tough review to write as there is so much on the Gymkhana menu that I am unable to eat due to an allergy. I had a similar experience in when dining at the London location but I thought my problems stemmed from the fact that we were dining with a group of 10 and as such had to order from a prefix menu, turns out I was wrong. I have a mango allergy and there is mango and/or mango powder in the majority of the dishes offered at Gymkhana. The service was truly outstanding and they brought me a succinct list of menu items that I could eat that don't contain mango. Unfortunately, I also do not eat shell fish so the list was whittled down further. The dishes that I did try were great though and I really loved the Pork Vindaloo, Methi Malai Mutter Paneer and Venison Biryani. The space itself is lovely and well decorated but doesn't have the same atmosphere as the flagship location in London. I likely will not be back due to my limitations here but that is obviously a me problem and not a them problem. read more

Can't believe I got a reservation for dinner at Gymkhana, and let me say this one of the best dinners I've ever had! We ordered multiple items for the table to share, and the server took his time explaining every dish to us. First up, drinks. I had the piña col-lossi and it was incredible! The gol guppas were a great appetizer, fried puffs that you fill with a lentil mix. The aloo chaat was surprising and full of flavor. The lasooni wild tiger prawns stole the show! The chicken butter masala was also incredible, we scooped up every last drip of the sauce with the generous serving of bread they gave us. If you take one thing from this review it's that you cannot skip dessert! We ordered the gold leader gulab jamun and it's the best thing I've ever eaten. I could have ordered like 15 more! Certainly there is a rush to try this place but we had a reservation so no need for the partition wait. Outside of the first impression, the overall service was top notch. The ambience was moody, dark and sexy. It is exactly what I expect for Las Vegas. Although they could've done a better job in the restroom. The food was highly seasoned but lacked a key ingredient- salt. Most of the items we tried could've used a lot more salt. Overall, I'd say it's only OK but not something to rush to try. We decided to wait outside to avoid crowding the entrance. Saw some parties go in while we waited outside. Didn't think too much about it. Waited till 7.58 pm, no text so we went back in and saw no one else left in the waiting area. I believe we were missed... Decor inside was beautiful however it was too dark and loud. It was hard to talk. Appetizers came quickly and tasted great but not enough bread to eat it with. After that, venison briyani and beef took a long time to come. Came here for Dinner on a Monday night. It was kind of hard to get reservations since it is a Michelin star restaurant. Very romantic & intimate restaurant, lights are dim, definitely a great date night spot. We got a few things, I'm not exactly sure the name but our favorite things were the cheese curry thing and the eggplant. Those two were really good & would highly recommend. The butter chicken was okay, chicken was a little dry. We also got the lamb chops... would not recommend. Honest opinion. Overall, I'd give this place a 7/10. Just the right amount of spice and tamarind. The chickpeas were really nicely flavoured as well and stood out. Tandoori Chicken - 3.8/5 - you could tell the quality of the ingredients and the way it was cooked was done professionally. It was good and spicy Beef Shortrib Pepper Fry - 3.5/5 - it was good. The flavour was decent and had good spices, but the beef wasn't soft enough for this type of curry. Still good though! Service - 5/5 - The waiters were all very professional and attentive. We arrived on time, were shown to our seats, and were immediately struck by how massive and stunning the interior is. Packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and the green chutney alongside it was a refreshing complement. Morel Mushroom & Pilaf Rice -- A subtle hint of truffle ran through the dish -- just enough to elevate it without overpowering. One of my favorites of the night. The poppy seed bread served with it was stunning -- light, crispy, and airy. Khatta Meetha Baingan -- Decent but not the best version I've had. Still enjoyable. Black Lentil Dhal Maharani -- Super creamy and warm -- exactly what you want on a chilly evening. This was one of my wife's favorite dishes of the night. Our server started off by telling us the spiciest items on the menu, and none of them were spicy enough for us. The music jumped all over the place with classic bollywood songs and then a random remix with today's hits that would feel disruptive to the mood. While Indian cuisine still isn't really my personal preference, I can honestly say the restaurant itself was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful and they have clearly put a lot of money and attention into making it a nice place to be. Unfortunately, that is where the attention to the customer ends. The service was exceptionally poor. Everyone we interacted with was pretentious and stuffy in the worst way possible. This is not a place you feel welcome or wanted. If you have any dietary restrictions don't bother coming. The waiter claimed nothing on the menu except the $150 lobster dish was dairy free, only to admit that was not correct as they had a few vegetable dishes marked as vegan. Best Indian meal I've ever had! Absolutely fantastic food and service. I showed up at 4:30 pm and was the third person in line to snag a walk-in seat at the bar. I got the last available seat at 5 when they opened, the guy behind me was told it would be a 2 hour wait. I opted for the tasting menu, and chose the following: * Pappadum Selection * Gol Guppas * Amritsari Shrimp & Svallops * Quail Seekh Kebab * Venison Biryani * Saffron Pistachio Ice Cream Falooda Everything was great, particularly the kebab and the biryani. The biryani, cooked within a puff pastry, was fantastic. The quail kebab was probably the best kebab I've ever had. Service at the bar was fantastic. Despite being busy fulfilling cocktail orders for the restaurant, they never failed to ensure that I was happy with my meal and with service at the bar. Excellent cocktails too! A Phenomenal Feast with Bold Flavors - Come Hungry and Pace Yourself! I had an absolutely wonderful time at Gymkhana Las Vegas. The atmosphere is gorgeous and sets the perfect mood for a high-end dining experience. We went with the tasting menu and the wine pairing, and I can confidently say it was a 5-star culinary journey. First off, the food is undeniably delicious. The Gol Guppas to start were an absolute highlight--so incredibly tasty and a fun, refreshing way to kick off the meal. The wine pairing was also fantastic, featuring 6 different glasses that were generously poured and thoughtfully paired with the courses. I really loved that aspect of the dinner. A quick tip for future diners: pace yourself! I've been to several fine-dining tasting menus, and the portions here are by far the largest I've encountered. Because the dishes are so generously sized, and the flavors are incredibly rich, deeply spiced, and well-seasoned, your palate might get a little fatigued toward the end of the meal. This is definitely not a complaint--the food is just that rich and abundant--but just a heads-up to arrive with a very big appetite and take your time enjoying each course. One minor note on the seating: the table lamp was a bit too bright, which caused a little eye strain over the course of a long dinner. We were in Vegas for Illenium at the Sphere (incredible, but that's another review) and a friend, who was familiar with the Michelin-rated Gymkhana in London, insisted we had to go. He was right to insist, and he was right to book ahead because they were turning people away at the door. Reservation is a must! The ambiance sets the tone immediately... moody, beautiful, and clearly thoughtful in every detail. I was wowed just walking to our table! Service was equally impressive: attentive, pleasant, and prompt throughout the entire meal without ever feeling intrusive. We ate family style which was the perfect way to experience the menu. The standouts for me were the beef short rib pepper fry served with the most lovely flaky paratha (I genuinely wished I could have had more of it!)... and the butter chicken paired with naan, which was rich and comforting and everything you want it to be. The kasoori chicken tikka and tandoori masala lamb chops were also huge hits at the table and very easy to love. Full transparency: some of the flavor combinations were bold and complex in ways I'm not entirely used to, so I think my palate may not have been the most calibrated judge for every dish! The venison biryani didn't quite land for me... the venison itself was cooked beautifully, but the flavors weren't clicking, and it ran quite spicy for my taste. The lychee martini was okay but notably less sweet than what I typically expect... worth knowing if you're ordering with that in mind. The group collectively called it the best meal they'd ever had. For me it's a little harder to rank since Indian cuisine is still a flavor world I'm actively exploring, but I can absolutely see why this place has the reputation it does. Gymkhana was very good! I mean it has to mean something as I was walking by 10 minutes before opening to find a ton of Indian folks lined out front, right? I slipped in for a bar seat last night. Bar service here is a hoot, and I was treated to the BEST butter chicken I've ever had. Complex flavors that hit your palate in waves with just the right kind of heat that makes you go back for more bites. Cocktails are also fantastic. I had one from the light & refreshing section. Got a large party? They have massive shareable drinks running for $240 for about 8 people. The former Julian Serrano space is completely unrecognizable as you step into a private and posh London club. Find Tony or Courtney at the bar and your evening will be set. read more

This place is all about "Keeping Up with the Khans" rather than honoring or prioritizing authentic Indian heritage and inclusivity when it comes to dietary preferences. Sure, it carries its reputation all the way from London, but I found the whole experience to be pretentious rather than sticking to authentic versions of Indian dishes. One of my colleagues made a reservation here when we were in town for work. Actually, a group of 10 of us had two reservations between us, because we didn't want to book one reservation of 8+ knowing we would be stuck to the pre-fix menu, and potential cancellation fees for anyone from our party cancelling last minute. They were not accomodating with us when, of course, we had two last minute cancellations. We wanted to combine as a group of 7, but they were adamant that we keep our reservations as is. So, part of our party got seated early, and the remainder of our group got seated later. It was ridiculous because we could have EASILY sat together as a group of 7. I guess it goes back to "keeping up appearances" of having a full restaurant... The food itself was alright, but the sparse vegetarian options was deeply disappointing. If there is one cuisine in the world that is made for vegetarians, it IS Indian. Why are you trying to be "creative" by adding meat into things that are normally vegetarian?? And of course, being in Vegas and "keeping up appearances" as a find dining restaurant, the food was overpriced. We honestly could have gone off strip to the plethora of Indian restaurants in Vegas to have quality, vegetarian-friendly options and pay 1/4 of the cost we paid here. Luckily, it was a business expense, but due to our company budget, we had to pay tip out of our pockets lol. I also found our waiter's behavior to be a bit odd. I also found it amusing that he was explaining an Indian menu to, people of Indian descent. At one point, we had requested our meals to be served so that our main entrees came after we finished our appetizers. One of my colleagues was still in the middle of finishing some of the appetizers, and our entrees came out in full force. We had no room on the table for everything...we had to awkwardly ask that they be sent back until we were ready. When we were ready, we had to wave down the waiter who then said with a slight bit of attitude "oh, they are already queued to be back". Well okay, sir! All-in-all, it was an okay experience, but really only makes sense to come here if you want to dress up, post on social media, and well, basically "keep up appearances". I'm going to start this out by saying that I've been so excited to eat at Gymkhana for MONTHS. When my family booked a last-minute trip to Vegas for the Backstreet Boys residency, I checked for reservations immediately and there was nothing available, so we decided to line up as walk-ins the second the restaurant opened. We were first in line at 4:15 p.m. A manager finally came out around 4:50 and asked if we had a reservation. We said no, we were hoping to get seated as walk-ins. He asked if we were there for a full meal, not just apps or drinks, and we said yes, absolutely, we wanted the full dinner experience. Then he asked my mother and me if it was just the three of us, gesturing at the Indian man standing behind us, who was holding a spot for his own separate walk-in party. We had to clarify twice that he wasn't with us. Once we sorted that out, we told him our actual party was five. That's when things fell apart. He said there was no way at ALL to seat us five. We offered to split into parties of two and three as we genuinely did not care about sitting together, and he said no, the rest of our group would have to come back two hours after we finished eating to take over our spots. So a party of five, first in line, willing to split up, got turned away entirely. We got out of line, and then watched the parties behind us get let in without a problem: that same Indian man with his party of three, followed by two women right after him. Five people total, split into two separate walk-in parties, no reservations, seated with zero issue while we stood there watching it happen. Mind you, this isn't conjecture or miscommunication - we approached the party of two and confirmed they didn't have reservations. What exactly was that policy, Gymkhana? It clearly didn't apply to the walk-ins right behind us, so what was it actually based on? People are flying and driving in from out of town for the chance to eat here. Great ambience and overall experience at Gymkhana--the decor, paintings, silver serving dishes elevated the experience. Food highlights: * Appetizers were yum, especially the panipuri experience--definitely a standout so was paneer tikka * Crispy okra was delicious * Beetroot pav buns were flavorful and well done * Dal makhani and methi matar malai were excellent What could be better: * Aloo chaat could have used more aloo * Tandoori broccoli was too charred and arrived too late (just before dessert), so we had to send it back * Dessert was disappointing--gulab jamun was overly sweet with too much syrup, and the rabdi didn't taste authentic * Kachumber salad portion was too small for a group (felt like it served only 2) Overall, I expected more on the food front given Gymkhana's reputation, but the ambience and service still made it to memorable experience. read more

Amazing food. Spicy. Very sell flavored and seasoned. Service was pretty good, though it could be a little more attentive. Wine list is impressive. Portions are on the smaller side, but it's very filling. So it's all good. Music is on the louder side, but not loud enough that you can't hear people at the table. What an exquisite night celebrating our anniversary at Gymkhana. The service and the atmosphere were top-notch. It is difficult to get a reservation so plan accordingly. We started out with the Wagyu Keema Naan and the Tandoori Masala lamb chops. The lamb chops were the best lamb chops I have ever had in my life. I typically don't like the gaminess of lamb but these were seasoned perfectly. We also order the chicken butter masala, the beef short rib pepper fry, and the venison biryani. The chicken butter masala was a classic dish. The beef short rib pepper fry was perfectly spiced while the venison biryani was an interesting treat as it came with a pastry puff on top of it. Every accompanying sauce was equally as delicious as the main dish. Everything was tasty and as the dishes came out, we were happy with the continuity of quality across the dishes. We adventured on the desserts with the rasgulla tiramisu, carrot halwa tart, mango rasmalal and saffron pistachio ice cream falooda. Each dessert was unique but in particular the saffron pistachio ice cream was oddly good. There were many components in it that actually mixed together nicely for a refreshing dessert. You kind of raise your eyebrow as you eat it but you can't stop eating it. This was a wonderful experience! read more
