We had an incredible experience here overall. The food was genuinely outstanding--every dish was well-executed, flavorful, and clearly made with attention to detail. The drinks were just as impressive, with a great cocktail menu that felt thoughtful rather than generic. Def get the lamb chops! One thing to know going in: reservations are almost impossible to get. You really need to set a timer for when new seats drop, because they go fast. The only downside was the service, which felt a bit inconsistent and not quite on the same level as the food and drinks. Nothing major, but it did take away slightly from the overall experience. Still, between the food, drinks, and atmosphere, it's absolutely worth trying to get a table. read more

Can't believe I got a reservation for dinner at Gymkhana, and let me say this one of the best dinners I've ever had! We ordered multiple items for the table to share, and the server took his time explaining every dish to us. First up, drinks. I had the piña col-lossi and it was incredible! The gol guppas were a great appetizer, fried puffs that you fill with a lentil mix. The aloo chaat was surprising and full of flavor. The lasooni wild tiger prawns stole the show! The chicken butter masala was also incredible, we scooped up every last drip of the sauce with the generous serving of bread they gave us. If you take one thing from this review it's that you cannot skip dessert! We ordered the gold leader gulab jamun and it's the best thing I've ever eaten. I could have ordered like 15 more! First time in Vegas this week, so we thought we would splurge a little and try a Michelin star restaurant on Tuesday, May 26. I was excited to find an Indian restaurant that had a Michelin star and was hoping for flavors I grew up with back in India. The review reads as trendy club inspired from India. The ambiance was wonderful and very elegant. However, the food had much to be desired hoping for some authentic style indian food. They spun many of the dishes into overly trendy plates - some being overly spicy and some were just ok. Service was excellent- the 3-4 servers that assisted us were fabulous. My only complaint is when we asked for regular water, they gave us bottled water and charged $11.00 per bottle and as the food was spicy, they kept refilling without advising of the cost. Our meal with tip came to $315.00 - much more than we ever spent on a meal for 2 people. For the cost, I would have expected more in the flavors of the food. read more

I had high hopes for this opening but was disappointed. The cattle call way of entering this establishment is off putting for fine dining. Certainly there is a rush to try this place but we had a reservation so no need for the partition wait. Outside of the first impression, the overall service was top notch. The ambience was moody, dark and sexy. It is exactly what I expect for Las Vegas. Although they could've done a better job in the restroom. The food was highly seasoned but lacked a key ingredient- salt. Most of the items we tried could've used a lot more salt. Overall, I'd say it's only OK but not something to rush to try. Food - 4/5 Kheema Naan - 4/5 - loved this! Full of flavour and the quality of the naan and beef was awesome. Also came with raitha (yogurt) Gol guppa - 4.5/5 - A burst of flavour with each bite. Just the right amount of spice and tamarind. The chickpeas were really nicely flavoured as well and stood out. Tandoori Chicken - 3.8/5 - you could tell the quality of the ingredients and the way it was cooked was done professionally. It was good and spicy Beef Shortrib Pepper Fry - 3.5/5 - it was good. The flavour was decent and had good spices, but the beef wasn't soft enough for this type of curry. Still good though! Service - 5/5 - The waiters were all very professional and attentive. They explained each dish and how to eat some of them (some were best eaten with your hands, etc) Awesome service Ambiance - 4.5/5 - beautifully decorated, well lit ambiance, and very upscale. We'd been eagerly waiting to come here and had to book a reservation a full month in advance -- worth every bit of the anticipation. We arrived on time, were shown to our seats, and were immediately struck by how massive and stunning the interior is. Service was exceptional all evening; our team did a wonderful job making the night special and walking us through the menu thoughtfully. Here's what we ordered: Mango Lassi & Mango Ginger Soda -- Both were refreshing and set a great tone for the meal right from the start. Aloo Chaat -- A beautiful balance of flavors with a commendable portion size. Exactly what we needed after arriving hungry. Tandoori Paneer Tikka -- This is not your typical paneer dish. Packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and the green chutney alongside it was a refreshing complement. Morel Mushroom & Pilaf Rice -- A subtle hint of truffle ran through the dish -- just enough to elevate it without overpowering. One of my favorites of the night. The poppy seed bread served with it was stunning -- light, crispy, and airy. Khatta Meetha Baingan -- Decent but not the best version I've had. Still enjoyable. Black Lentil Dhal Maharani -- Super creamy and warm -- exactly what you want on a chilly evening. This was one of my wife's favorite dishes of the night. Bread Basket -- A delicious variety, and yes, the garlic naan was in there. No complaints. I was so excited for this, but left so underwhelmed. The atmosphere is very well done. It's in the Aria hotel. Our server started off by telling us the spiciest items on the menu, and none of them were spicy enough for us. The music jumped all over the place with classic bollywood songs and then a random remix with today's hits that would feel disruptive to the mood. I'm sad that it's probably much better of an experience in London. It just did not feel like a michelin restaurant :/ My fav was the kasoori chicken. The gol guppa was subpar. We were super excited to try this place, to say the least. Overall, we would come back, mostly to explore more of the vegetarian options on the menu. Service was good, but nothing I wouldn't expect from a high end restaurant. One interesting thing was that water is served at room temperature (no ice), which caught me off guard. The front staff were not very warm or inviting, which was a bit of a turnoff right from the start. Loved the overall ambiance of the restaurant. The center table lamp was a little tall so it was hard to see the person across from me initially. However, it was moved to the side when the food started to come out. Still thinking about this dish. Fantastic dining experience! Reservations are few and far between right now, but swing by around 9pm and you can maybe snag a table before the late night crowd rushes in. Truly everything is bursting with flavor. The Rajasthani Okra side is phenomenal - the nice okra pop of flavor paired with a perfect fried crunch. Best Indian meal I've ever had! Absolutely fantastic food and service. I showed up at 4:30 pm and was the third person in line to snag a walk-in seat at the bar. I got the last available seat at 5 when they opened, the guy behind me was told it would be a 2 hour wait. I opted for the tasting menu, and chose the following: * Pappadum Selection * Gol Guppas * Amritsari Shrimp & Svallops * Quail Seekh Kebab * Venison Biryani * Saffron Pistachio Ice Cream Falooda Everything was great, particularly the kebab and the biryani. The biryani, cooked within a puff pastry, was fantastic. The quail kebab was probably the best kebab I've ever had. Service at the bar was fantastic. We were in Vegas for Illenium at the Sphere (incredible, but that's another review) and a friend, who was familiar with the Michelin-rated Gymkhana in London, insisted we had to go. He was right to insist, and he was right to book ahead because they were turning people away at the door. Reservation is a must! The ambiance sets the tone immediately... moody, beautiful, and clearly thoughtful in every detail. I was wowed just walking to our table! Service was equally impressive: attentive, pleasant, and prompt throughout the entire meal without ever feeling intrusive. We ate family style which was the perfect way to experience the menu. The standouts for me were the beef short rib pepper fry served with the most lovely flaky paratha (I genuinely wished I could have had more of it!)... and the butter chicken paired with naan, which was rich and comforting and everything you want it to be. The kasoori chicken tikka and tandoori masala lamb chops were also huge hits at the table and very easy to love. Full transparency: some of the flavor combinations were bold and complex in ways I'm not entirely used to, so I think my palate may not have been the most calibrated judge for every dish! The venison biryani didn't quite land for me... the venison itself was cooked beautifully, but the flavors weren't clicking, and it ran quite spicy for my taste. The lychee martini was okay but notably less sweet than what I typically expect... worth knowing if you're ordering with that in mind. The group collectively called it the best meal they'd ever had. For me it's a little harder to rank since Indian cuisine is still a flavor world I'm actively exploring, but I can absolutely see why this place has the reputation it does. Gymkhana was very good! I mean it has to mean something as I was walking by 10 minutes before opening to find a ton of Indian folks lined out front, right? I slipped in for a bar seat last night. Bar service here is a hoot, and I was treated to the BEST butter chicken I've ever had. Complex flavors that hit your palate in waves with just the right kind of heat that makes you go back for more bites. Cocktails are also fantastic. I had one from the light & refreshing section. Got a large party? They have massive shareable drinks running for $240 for about 8 people. ELEGANT and SAVORY are words I'd use to describe the dining experience at Gymkhana. Customer service was on point. This was the first time visiting, and was a wonderful experience overall. I booked 45 days out, so be patient and do your best to find a reservation however you can. Food: Butter Chicken Masala, Lasoori Tiger Prawns, and Garlic Naan were my favorite. Chef's kiss! The Butter chicken was savory and we kept eating the left over sauce with the Naan; great value. Prawns were on fire, literally. Sooo good and worth it. Be careful though as everything at Gymkhana is medium to high in terms of spice level. The butter chicken was closer to a true medium in terms of spice. Also ordered the Lamb Shank, Aloo Chaat, and Saag Makai. All were good, but my favorites were the chicken, prawns and Naan. Service: MARIOOOO!! He's the best and so lovely to have helping you. Victor and Raquel/Rachel were our main servers and were attentive the WHOLE night. I was so impressed with the service. Ambience + Value: Sexy, elegant, and refined. This place is all about "Keeping Up with the Khans" rather than honoring or prioritizing authentic Indian heritage and inclusivity when it comes to dietary preferences. Sure, it carries its reputation all the way from London, but I found the whole experience to be pretentious rather than sticking to authentic versions of Indian dishes. One of my colleagues made a reservation here when we were in town for work. Actually, a group of 10 of us had two reservations between us, because we didn't want to book one reservation of 8+ knowing we would be stuck to the pre-fix menu, and potential cancellation fees for anyone from our party cancelling last minute. They were not accomodating with us when, of course, we had two last minute cancellations. We wanted to combine as a group of 7, but they were adamant that we keep our reservations as is. So, part of our party got seated early, and the remainder of our group got seated later. It was ridiculous because we could have EASILY sat together as a group of 7. I guess it goes back to "keeping up appearances" of having a full restaurant... The food itself was alright, but the sparse vegetarian options was deeply disappointing. If there is one cuisine in the world that is made for vegetarians, it IS Indian. Why are you trying to be "creative" by adding meat into things that are normally vegetarian?? And of course, being in Vegas and "keeping up appearances" as a find dining restaurant, the food was overpriced. We honestly could have gone off strip to the plethora of Indian restaurants in Vegas to have quality, vegetarian-friendly options and pay 1/4 of the cost we paid here. Luckily, it was a business expense, but due to our company budget, we had to pay tip out of our pockets lol. I also found our waiter's behavior to be a bit odd. I also found it amusing that he was explaining an Indian menu to, people of Indian descent. At one point, we had requested our meals to be served so that our main entrees came after we finished our appetizers. One of my colleagues was still in the middle of finishing some of the appetizers, and our entrees came out in full force. We had no room on the table for everything...we had to awkwardly ask that they be sent back until we were ready. When we were ready, we had to wave down the waiter who then said with a slight bit of attitude "oh, they are already queued to be back". Well okay, sir! All-in-all, it was an okay experience, but really only makes sense to come here if you want to dress up, post on social media, and well, basically "keep up appearances". I'm sad to say I was disappointed. First, the Good. The ambiance and service is fantastic though the acoustics make it difficult to discern human speech. I was barely able to understand our waiter when he was not right beside me. But now to the not so good. The food. None of it was spicy in the least. Indian? The positive highlight was the Butter Chicken. It was very flavorful although extremely rich. After a few bites, no more! The Aloo chaat was just weird. I like yogurt, but warm sweet yogurt with something? No. The regular papadum was great. The other ones sort of nondescript. The mint-coriander chutney was great. I thought I would like the yogurt based one, but no, it just didn't work. It had all the ingredients I love: yogurt, lime, pickles, but together it just was not my taste. Interestingly enough, the one I thought would be not good, I liked, the Goan Prawn Chutney. I found the yellow lentil dal bland, but my best friend liked it. My husband who loves matter paneer did not enjoy this version at all. I did not either. Bottom line: given the prices, I'd rather go to an upscale Indian place in LA if I want Upscale Indian cuisine. Before traveling to Vegas, I looked for about a month to try and get reservations, but no dice. I was staying at the Aria, so I figured worst case scenario, I'll just line up an hour before they open and see if they'll let me sit at the bar. Thankfully, our strategy worked and my husband and I were able to get full dining service at the bar! Woohoo! Because this place is fancy, we dressed up for the occasion. Traditionally, a "gymkhana" back home in India or Pakistan certainly has a dress code. There were about 14 people lined up trying to do something similar, and frankly I'm not the type to care about dress code and rules, but it was annoying to me to see the person deciding who gets in/doesn't get in, not really following their own rules. Women wearing swim wear and cover ups, with flip flops were allowed. However men wearing nicer tailored shorts, with sandals weren't allowed. My husband and I were fine, but really seemed like the person letting people in was going more by pretty privilege than any actual rules. But I guess that's just the Vegas way! Once we were seated at the bar, we got the BEST bartender/server/jack of all trades working with us on our menu selection. His name was Tony (coincidentally, two Tony's work behind the bar, and both are great!) and he's so incredibly lively! And well travelled. He could talk for days, but he was great at sensing what guests wanted- which ones were chatty and which ones wanted a quiet meal, and it was cool seeing him in action. The interior is beautiful, with rich royal colors, greens, maroons, deep mahogany wood. The many has so many choices! We narrowed down our order to the Aloo Chaat, goat Methi Keema, wagyu keema naan, butter chicken, gol guppas, and channa masala. When we try a new place we usually cast a wide net to get a good feel for a place. Right away we noticed that the channa being used in the gol guppas were canned, and not fresh. That seems an odd choice for a Michelin star restaurant. Typically I associate Michelin star restaurants with a similar taste to like a Nona/ grandma cooking in the back. Passed down recipes. Really authentic. My mom would never use boiled canned chickpeas. The pani served with the gol guppas was phenomenal, had a bit of a kick and was a redeeming factor. The channa masala had no such redeeming factor, continued to be canned, and we ate a bite each and left it alone. What a complete waste. The wagyu keema naan was also something I would not order again. Having tasted wagyu before, here it made no difference and was really boring. The aloo chaat was surprisingly so good, not something I'd order in such a place but so glad I did, the crunch, the yogurt, the spice, was all perfectly balanced. The methi goat was also something darn good! We would have loved more of that. The butter chicken was meh? I've had better. I came in to Gymkhana with high expectations given the reputation of the London locale, and the overall price point. Was it worth it? You be the judge. Interior - clubby, very elegant. Indian hip hop in the sound system which was fun. Drinks - cocktail game ON POINT. Mike had a clarified mango lassi cocktail that looked like a glass of water but was full of flavor. The wine list is well chosen with a focus on German Riesling's (great match with spicy food). Service - rather frosty at the hostess stand but once seated, excellent. Our server did a great job with recommends and advising how many things to order. Food - good to very good but IMO, not exceptional for the most part. We had gol guppas (good), pepper beef (above average but not much beef), Chana and daal tadka (again very good but nothing I can't get at my local) and lamb chops. Now, the last thing was the standout. So tender, spicy and meaty - you could have told me it was filet. Would order again! Very romantic & intimate restaurant, lights are dim, definitely a great date night spot. We got a few things, I'm not exactly sure the name but our favorite things were the cheese curry thing and the eggplant. Those two were really good & would highly recommend. The butter chicken was okay, chicken was a little dry. We also got the lamb chops... would not recommend. Honest opinion. Overall, I'd give this place a 7/10. What an exquisite night celebrating our anniversary at Gymkhana. The service and the atmosphere were top-notch. It is difficult to get a reservation so plan accordingly. We started out with the Wagyu Keema Naan and the Tandoori Masala lamb chops. The lamb chops were the best lamb chops I have ever had in my life. I typically don't like the gaminess of lamb but these were seasoned perfectly. We also order the chicken butter masala, the beef short rib pepper fry, and the venison biryani. The chicken butter masala was a classic dish. The beef short rib pepper fry was perfectly spiced while the venison biryani was an interesting treat as it came with a pastry puff on top of it. Every accompanying sauce was equally as delicious as the main dish. Everything was tasty and as the dishes came out, we were happy with the continuity of quality across the dishes. We adventured on the desserts with the rasgulla tiramisu, carrot halwa tart, mango rasmalal and saffron pistachio ice cream falooda. Each dessert was unique but in particular the saffron pistachio ice cream was oddly good. There were many components in it that actually mixed together nicely for a refreshing dessert. So disappointing. I waited a month to get in here - even with Platinum MGM status. And it was just not very good. The room is - it's been said before - it is much too dark. But it's especially dangerous when you're trying to find the ladies' room. You need to walk through a narrow hallway that is also where the servers and staff hang out. The walls are painted black. There is no light in the hallway. And you must go to the end of this narrow hall and turn a corner. I met a woman there who semi-jokingly asked me to hold her hand so we could find our way back to our tables. It's a fright. And it's unnecessary. But it tracks with the whole vibe of this place. They are so self-satisfied and sort of smug that if you mention that it's overly dark, or that the food is too spicy, they just do NOT care. Our appetizer of shrimp and scallops was almost inedible. And I like spicy food. But if your seafood is fresh, you don't need to do this to it. Which just leads me to believe the seafood wasn't of good quality. The raita served with it was so thick it was like cream cheese. But you needed to eat it because the shrimp and scallops were much too hot without. When we mentioned to our server how seriously spicy our appetizer was, she said "Yes, Indian food has spice". We know, lady. But the lack of interest in adjusting spice is part of the attitudinal issue here. We ordered the Lobster Curry - it's $135 and not worth it. The lobster was so chewy and tough we had to use our knives to cut it. You should not have to do that with good-quality lobster. We shared it so we got about 4 bites of lobster each. And so chewy. Hard pass. The curry the lobster was served in on the other hand, was delicious. We also had the bread basket, which was fine but not spectacular. I've had better bread at strip mall Indian joints in LA. And the rice is pushed so hard you basically must order it. But it was strangely lacking in any basmati flavor. The service was just off for us. There is this whole "you're lucky to be here" attitude. My iced tea was empty for some time. My partner's water wasn't refilled regularly and when you're eating overly spiced food, bring the water. It was my partner's birthday so they brought a free birthday dessert and it was a chocolate thing that was ok. Mostly tasteless. Petit fours that every table receives are terrible. We were gambling an hour later, still tasting the licorice flavor from the chocolate bite. I would not eat these. I'm so disappointed. I love Indian food, and I couldn't wait for this meal - I spent a lot of time looking at menus and planning what we would get. We spent about $250 (before tip) and we didn't order alcoholic drinks so that isn't outrageous, but I could get a way better Indian meal anywhere for much less than that. They serve the food as it's intended, no mild, medium or hot requests, if you don't like heat don't order Rogan Josh as an example. Our server was very kind and welcoming. When we placed our order (two entrees and a side), she let us know it would be about a 45-minute wait and asked if we wanted an appetizer. We decided to just wait...only for our food to come out about 10 minutes later. Not complaining about fast food, but it definitely threw off the expectation of a slower, more relaxed dining experience. From there, things felt rushed. About 15 minutes in, we were already being asked about dessert. Then, while I was still actively eating, the busser cleared my plate so quickly that before I could stop him, everything had already been stacked together and was no longer edible. Best Indian food I've ever had. We had the tasting menu and were so happy with everything, especially the butter chicken, the chutneys and the tiramisu. The cocktails were very creative and well balanced. Decor was beautiful and dark, it sort of felt like living in a Rudyard Kipling novel. Only qualms I had were the music is a smidge too loud, I had to ask for the tasting menu (it was not made available at seating). read more

A Michelin Star Indian restaurant in England opened in Aria. We have been twice - once celebrating a birthday and second time with a big group of friends. Able to reserve a month before for our first visit the second one was two weeks prior as we were a group of 12 and decided to do the tasting menu. There are two tasting menu - $160 and $195. We choose the $195. I will tell you- go hungry or don't eat so much for lunch- I think including bread baskets and dessert- it was like a 13 course meal- family style setting. When we went as a small group and did à la carte orders- only complain as also my other friends who went on a separate occasion- we requested for the bread basket in the beginning so we can enjoy our appetizer with it - aloo chaat. Bread was delivered with the main meal. Glad during our tasting menu- different types of bread basket was given in the beginning with multiple chutney. Our favorite dishes based on authentic Indian spices- tandoori lamb chops, aloo chaat- needs a little more potato but not complaining, the quail kebab, panipuri, Goat Methi Keema, Amritsari Shrimp & scallop, and venison biryani. Make sure to make room for dessert- Cardamom & Basmati Rice Kheer and Gold Leaf Gulab Jamun. Both are amazing. If you have a late reservation, try to reserve the gulab jamun- seems to run out early. The service is great. They explain each dish. They have good selection of special cocktails. Place is expensive but you are getting high end Indian food. Like a friend of mine who has been to the London branch said it is slightly cheaper. Vegetarian customers- they do have a vegetarian tasting menu. I was excited to try this place, but note to all the single diners out there, they won't seat you in the dining room. You'll be placed at the bar. My friend got stuck at work and couldn't make our dinner, so I ended up by myself. Honestly, the way the gentleman at the front door spoke to me when i said the party was changed to 1 was a bit condescending. His tone and demeanor was not very courteous and he made it seem like a party of one was an "inferior" customer. Anyway, I was first going to bail, but I really did want to try it, so I agreed to sit at the bar. I am so glad I did, because Tony, Ashley, and Courtney all completely took the sour taste in my mouth away! They were amazing! They were friendly, funny, so courteous, accommodating, They really cared about their diners and wanted to make sure everyone sitting with them were having a great time AND were enjoying their food, The inside is gorgeous and I wish I took some pictures of the interior. I did the tasting menu and every single course blew me away. Be warned though.....it is A LOT of food and I barely put a dent in it. However, I did finish the gol guppas and the Amritsari shrimp and scallops. Both were just full of punches of flavor and I was blown away by how tasty they were. The quail seekh kabob was so tender and juicy and the mint chutney it comes with was just perfection. I was already full by this course. The venison biryani was great and the meat was super soft. The chicken butter masala had great flavor and isn't your typical butter chicken. This all also comes with black lentil dal maharani, saag makai, and their bread basket with naan and roti. I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed the dal. Dal has always been okay for me. It's always tasty, but never blows me away as one of my most favorite items on a menu. However, this dal was incredibly tasty. For dessert, it came with a choice of cardamom & basmati rice kheer or saffron pistachio ice cream falooda. I chose the falooda and honestly wasn't a fan. It didn't really have that much flavor and there were too many textures going on. I ordered the Rasgulla Tiramisu and that was soooooo much better. Thank you Ashley, Courtney, and Tony for that recommendation! Overall the food was great, but I enjoyed it so much before just because of Ashley, Courtney, and Tony. I had such an amazing dining experience here from start to finish. We ordered a mix of appetizers, mains, and breads, and every single dish delivered. The Gol Guppas were a standout right away. Super fresh, perfectly crisp, and packed with flavor. Such a fun and interactive bite to kick off the meal. The Aloo Chaat was another favorite. It had the perfect balance of spice, tanginess, and texture that made it hard to stop eating. For our main, we had the Tandoori Masala Lamb Chops, and wow... cooked perfectly. Tender, smoky, and seasoned beautifully. You can really taste the depth of the marinade and the char from the tandoor. Highly recommend if you're a lamb fan. We also got the Bread Basket, which was the perfect addition to the table. Great variety, warm, and ideal for pairing with all the sauces and flavors from the meal. One thing to keep in mind is that this is definitely a dining experience, not a rushed dinner. Plan for about 2-3 hours. But honestly, it's worth it. The pacing lets you really enjoy each course, the atmosphere, and the full experience. Overall, incredible food, great ambiance, and a memorable night out. The hype is real. The restaurant is beautiful and well decorated and good for parties of all sizes. This was the best restaurant we ate in Vegas Pro - ambience - patiala fried chicken was the spiciest thing we ate but perfectly cooked - beef pepper fry was our favorite dish -lamb chops were massive -bread bowl - dessert: Gulab jamun was outstanding- second best thing on menu. The mango and coffee sorbet were fantastic. - drinks: Himalayan hold up was great - sides: tender broccoli was good - servers were attentive and friendly, and when they ran out of an item comped us a substitute Cons: - Seated 30 minutes after our reservation. It was BUSY- it took a while to get our order, in food, took over an hour to come out (not a service issue but a staffing issue). I'm so torn because this place was really hyped and is quite reputable in London. However, I have been to many Indian restaurants and can say that I've had better authentic dishes elsewhere. The standouts were the lamb tandoori as well as the Gol Guppas. Otherwise all the classics can be enjoyed elsewhere. The garlic naan literally had no remnants of garlic on or in it. The drinks were fantastic though. And the service is quite up to par with Las Vegas industry standards. read more

Yelp Review 2026 #1: Aside from my daily gym check-ins, I've decided I'd go to a different kind of "gym" in 2026: Gymkhana. A much-awaited addition to restaurants in the Strip, Gymkhana is a Michelin-starred Indian restaurant from London. Vegas, of course, is still disqualified from having its own Michelin-starred restaurants. They serve Goan dishes which means SPICY! It replaced long-standing Julian Serrano Tapas inside Aria. The green exterior and a Rolls Royce Silver Spur II outside the restaurant. We made our reservation back in October 2025. And you really should reserve a table. I watched a lot of people with no reservations get turned away. So, don't make that mistake. They have a tasting menu but my friends and I went with à la carte and shared our food. Our server recommended getting 4 items from the left side of the menu (smaller items/ appetizers) and 3 items from the right side of the menu (entrees). It was a lot of food! But we made room for dessert. GOL GUPPAS: Aka pani puri - my favorite Indian street food. Fried wheat puffs, potatoes, moong lentil sprouts, mint, and cumin water. Poke a hole on top of the wheat puffs, put the potato filling inside, pour some cumin water. Spicy, tangy, mildly minty, and a bit sweet. 4.5/5 ALOO CHAAT: Crispy fingerling potatoes, sweet yogurt, tamarind chutney, and gram flour vermicelli. Crunchy and creamy. A bit spicy. 4.5/5 TANDOORI CHICKEN: Kashmiri chili, yogurt, ginger, garlic, walnut chutney, and mint chutney onions. The very first thing I tried at an Indian restaurant many years ago was chicken tandoori and it was horribly dry and I haven't tried tandoori again until I went to London, and again at Gymkhana and trust was restored. Spicy, tender and juicy. It comes with pickled vegetables and a yogurt sauce. 5/5 CHICKEN BUTTER MASALA: Tandoor roasted chicken thighs, tomato, fenugreek, and cream sauce. Tender pieces of chicken and the sauce was spicy and a bit tangy. 5/5 BEEF SHORTRIB PEPPER FRY: Stir-fried, South Indian spices, coconut, flaky Malabar paratha. Not the kind of "fry" we had in mind. It was more like a thick stew. Definitely has a kick to it. 3/5 MOREL MUSHROOM & TRUFFLE PILAF: Saffron pilaf rice, trufle, cucumber, and cumin raita. Topped with a thin and delicate paratha with poppy seeds on top. A good vegetarian dish or as a side dish served table-side. 5/5 BREAD BASKET: Garlic & Coriander Naan, Butter Naan, Tandoori Carom Seed Roti. My favorite was the garlic and coriander. The butter naan was ok. The tandoori naan was dry and cracker-like. 3/5 MANGO LASSI: A creamy, sweet yogurt drink made with 3 simple ingredients: mango, yogurt, pistachio. It's always a good drink to tame down all the spicy food. GOLD LEAF GULAB JAMUN: Fried milk dumplings, rose syrup, gold leaf, almonds, pistachios, and basundi milk. It's like a soft syrup-soaked doughnut hole. My favorite Indian sweet treat. 5/5 Service was excellent and attentive which is to be expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Dined here on a Tuesday night with the wife and our adult son. Overall we had a wonderful meal and would definitely return and also recommend to friends and family. First off the space is beautifully designed and decorated - you genuinely feel like you've entered a different environment completely separate from inside a busy Strip casino. The interior is well lit but not too bright and the music volume is fine-dining appropriate. It's a busy restaurant so the patron volume is elevated but the space itself is so calming you really don't notice. Our server Jher and his assistant Nikolay were absolutely wonderful! Jher took great care to explain everything on the menu to us and answer all of our questions. My son has a mild food allergy and Jher went out of his way to ensure that there were no issues in that regard including giving us different sharing plates etc. He even has a little "food allergy cheat sheet" in his pocket listing all of the menu items' allergens - we thought that was a great idea! Our water glasses were constantly refilled and plates/silverware were quickly removed and freshly replaced after each course. Nikolay was so attentive to getting us anything we needed throughout the meal! I can't say enough about the food - every dish we ordered was a winner. The depth of flavors present in the sauces, chutneys etc. is phenomenal. We started with the Gol Guppas and Aloo Chat. Both were so fresh and delicious - perfectly seasoned. The chickpea chutney with the Gol Guppas was especially outstanding. Needless to say I could've eaten ten more of those ethereal puffs. For our main course we ordered multiple entrees and sides to share. My personal favorite dish of the night was the Lamb Shank Rogan Josh. It's a huge portion of perfectly tender meat on the bone - so tender in fact that I was able to use my butterknife to cut through it. It's served in a sauce that blew me away with the depth of flavor. I sopped up as much as I could with the naan we ordered as one of our sides and still couldn't get enough. We also ordered the Beef Short Rib Pepper Fry as our second meat entrée which was again wonderfully sauced and seasoned with super tender chunks of beef. Both of these are HIGHLY recommended especially the lamb. For vegetable dishes we ordered the Aloo Jeera and the Yellow Lentil Dal. The cute little potatoes were perfectly tender and seasoned (you can see a trend going with this review) and were also a perfect vehicle for the aforementioned lamb shank sauce. I didn't even get to try the Dal - my son loved it so much he ate the entire bowl before I could get a spoon into it or the side of basmati rice we ordered. Needless to say he gave it a huge thumbs-up. The naan in the bread basket side was excellent - fresh and with a variety including a Carom Seed Roti which was a unique flavor I hadn't experienced before but would certainly order again. We couldn't resist ordering a couple of desserts - the Cardamon and Basmati Rice Kheer and the Gold Leaf Gulab Jamun. I'm not usually a "rice pudding" fan due to the typical mushiness but this version was filled with figs and nuts which turned it into a totally different textural experience - the flavors are unique and exceptional. The milk dumplings in the Gulab Jamun are like the freshest, tastiest donuts you've ever had. They are accompanied by a milky sauce that I could've drank by itself it was so good. I would highly recommend both of these desserts. Dinner for three came to $275 before tax and tip which included the aforementioned dishes along with two drinks and a soda. Was really looking forward to dining here but some of the dishes really fell short for me. The venison biryani was sooo dry it was disappointing and the falooda dessert was tasteless. I only liked the gol guppas here and the butter chicken. As for bread basket aka naan so crazy it was $22 that's pretty steep. I've had better naan at restaurants back home in SF. The service here is good as well however they did not acknowledge that we were celebrating a birthday. The restaurant is really spacious and nice ambiance. Overall, maybe there are better dishes at this restaurant but I have to give it an overall an average rating based on my dining experience here. read more

Gymkhana was okay for me. I probably would not go back because the food was just tooo spicy. I did love the Himalayan hold up cocktail. It was lovely. The star of the night was the Aloo chat appetizer and I did enjoy the cardamom keer dessert. The chicken tikka cooked in the tandoori and the crispy chicken were good. But, the hot spices of the biryani and butter chicken was just tooo overpowering, unfortunately, and it was hard to enjoy the meal. Had we been aware of this spice level, we may have considered other dishes. It's worth a try tho. read more

As an Indian American that has been to a bunch of Indian restaurants over the years, I love this place. Fair warning: Gymkhana's food is well seasoned. For those not used to a heavy hand of spices and seasonings, maybe rethink coming here. Service here was great and every single person we spoke to was very kind and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I asked where the restroom was and got personally escorted right to the door. It's the little things. We started off with the Masala Chai to drink and two appetizers - Goan Salmon Tikka & Tandoori Chicken. Both dishes packed a punch of flavor and the chutneys served on the side complemented the flavors perfectly by cooling it down a little. The Tandoori Chicken was our favorite dish of the night because of the seasonings on the chicken and how tender it was. We also tried the Wagyu Keema Naan and it was a little salty but good. For a main entree we got the Chicken Butter Masala with Garlic Naan. Now this was exactly what you would expect and it felt standard to what you would get at any Indian restaurant, but it hit the spot. To us, the real gems of Gymkhana can be located by looking at the tikka/kebab section of the menu. They clearly know how to marinate well and keep any meat tender. I also respect the approach of keeping the food authentic and extremely flavorful without dulling it down for the sake of having it be palatable for everyone. read more

A buzzy new spot with promise, but not quite delivering at its price point... We were fortunate to snag reservations at Gymkhana thanks to a couple of friends with insider connections. Whether the scarcity is organic or intentionally engineered, it's clear this place is one of the hottest tickets on the Strip right now--reservations reportedly disappeared within hours. High‑end Indian cuisine is still relatively rare in Las Vegas, so the excitement makes sense. There's definitely an appetite for something elevated, accessible, and different from the usual luxury offerings. That said, the experience comes with a very steep price tag, and it often feels like you're paying more for the scene than the substance. The moment we walked in, we were hit with a loud, high‑energy atmosphere that only intensified as the night went on. The space is cavernous, and the acoustics do it no favors. It became genuinely difficult to hear our servers as they explained the menu or answered questions, which took away from the refinement the restaurant seems to be aiming for. Food-wise, the highlights were clear: the tandoori chicken and several of the regional-inspired dishes really shone. They showcased thoughtful technique and bold flavors without being overly complicated. However, the beverage program felt aggressively overpriced. A $500 pour of Louis XIII cognac and a $79 glass of a very standard Cabernet--one you could easily find at a neighborhood liquor store--felt unnecessary and out of step with the rest of the menu. If you avoid alcohol altogether, the meal becomes surprisingly reasonable given the location, décor, and hype. Portions and structure lean heavily toward family-style dining, so I'd recommend ordering for the table rather than expecting traditional individual entrées. It's a fun approach, but it also means the pacing and service need to be tight--and that's where things felt uneven. Our servers were sincere and eager to help, but the overall service rhythm swung between rushed and perfunctory, then suddenly attentive when flagged down. It created a disjointed experience that didn't match the luxury positioning or the premium pricing. Gymkhana has potential, and it's exciting to see high-end Indian cuisine getting this kind of spotlight in Las Vegas. But at this early stage, there are still noticeable wrinkles to iron out--especially around service, acoustics, and value. For now, it's a disappointing three stars. I'm hopeful that with time, refinement, and a bit more originality, this restaurant will grow into the experience its price suggests. read more
