I love Chineese food so couldn't wait to try and what a surprise. I ordered the duck and out came a really big duck and a carver. What a treatment our food got. crepes, duck sauce, etc. Wow. Took some home get to have it for another day. Lovely ambiance and service.

Nice upscale Chinese restaurant. The ambiance was great especially in Ty library area where we sat. It was modern and nice and much quieter than many of the other restaurants we ate at. The food was decent, not the best but not the worst. Service was friendly and was pretty on par with what you'd expect from a Vegas resort. Overall it was a good experience. We found ourselves in Las Vegas over Thanksgiving and decided to experience the Vegas Strip for 5 days. As you may have heard, restaurants along the Strip can be excellent, but it ain't the cheapest option. Well, Chyna Club fits that mold. Located in the north part of the Strip (like really far north) inside the Fontainbleu hotel, this fine dining Chinese restaurant came highly rated and recommended. I will comment here that if you're unfamiliar with the Strip, everything is walkable, but if you're staying toward the south side like I was (near the MGM), then the walk to Chyna Club is quite a trek - about an hour including all the pedestrian stop lights. So plan accordingly. We had reservations for a party of 4 and we were seated quickly and efficiently. The ambiance is what you would expect - dimly lit, clean, beautiful, great for a date night or high end business meal. The service was also top notch. No complaints there. As for the food, we tried the duck salad which was really good, but I think my expectations were too high and I wasn't too impressed. But still worth getting. We ordered a beef dish (beef tenderloin), and again, good taste and great presentation, but it didn't blow me away. Same with the Chyna Club chicken and the sampler. Last of all, how can you go to a Chinese restaurant and not order fried rice? Well, we did order the Yang chow fried rice, and it was the same story - good, but not game changing. It could have used some MSG or Sriracha. All in all, it was definitely a good meal, but we didn't leave quite full and I was out almost $300 after tax and tip. If you want fine dining Chinese food for a hot date or your company is fronting the bill, this is a great place. If you want good authentic Chinese food with good value, Chinatown is a much better option. And yes, we walked there too. :)

I heard wonderful things about this restaurant and I was really looking forward to dining here. The restaurant is located in Fontainebleau which is a super classy resort on the Las Vegas strip. My party arrived early for our reservation, but the hostess was able to seat us promptly. The restaurant is gorgeous with sophisticated decor. Our waitress was very friendly and service was definitely top notch. One of main reasons I wanted to come to this restaurant is because of the raving reviews for the duck salad. The duck salad was very refreshing with a generous amount of duck, but it wasn't mind blowing in my opinion. The sampler was pretty good; especially the crispy scallop puff which was cooked perfectly and quite unique. The charred beef tenderloin was very flavorful and the meat was super tender with a nice amount of pepper. The Chyna club chicken was nothing special. The fried rice was presented nicely, but the taste was also quite standard. My diagnosis: good food but a little too expensive for what you get.

The ambiance and service was impeccable!! The highlight was the Peking Duck and the dessert "Teddy Misu".

I saw Mike Chen raved about the Peking Duck salad here so I knew I had to give this place a try when we are in Vegas. We ended ordering the sampler because it has the p-e-r-f-e-c-t amount and the dishes we wanted to try. The "mini" peking duck salad was absolutely delicious! Very generous with the amount of duck and the dressing is what makes this salad addictive! Apparently the wonton cup that it comes with is only available for the sampler which I really enjoyed. The rest of the items scallop puff, sweet + sour ribs, and wagyu dumpling were good as well but the peking duck salad is definitely a must try! The Chyna Club Chicken, Yu Shang Eggplant, and Yang Chow Fried Rice were also done very well and can taste the wok hay. The chicken and eggplant has a coating where it's a little crispy. Everything was so flavorful and will definitely be back. Portions are bigger than what we expected, so be sure to come hungry! Service was excellent - he was tentative and made sure my tea cup was always full. Ambiance is very elegant and moody/dark academia vibes. I really enjoyed my meal here and highly recommend folks to try this place out.

Part of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas dining collection since 2024 the lack of fanfare for Chyna Club seems largely due to its location, a small entry near the High Stakes Slots lounge easily missed even by though who are looking as Washing Potato looms in neon directly adjacent. A concept from Wagamama and Hakkasan founder Alan Yau, the interior channeling NoMad Library prior to its rebrand as "The Reserve at Park MGM," it is upon entering that guests see several small rooms around a central dining area and bar lined with top-shelf Spirits. Best considered upscale-Cantonese, former Wing Lei Chef Richard Chen fully in charge of a menu ranging from Peking Duck to XLB, bilingual staff prove friendly yet professional and forthcoming while the menu is offered a la carte or as one of two Tasting Menus. Visited on the first day of Chinese New Year, a third Tasting and several Cocktails added, it was after brief perusal that the $160 Peking Duck Tasting was selected in addition to a pair of a la carte favorites and Cocktails including an innovative take on the Bee's Knees with Osmanthus Honey. Matched to complimentary Valet Parking, an amuse of Shrimp quickly followed by a crispy Croquette of Taro around confit Duck with Caviar Cream, those who grow tired of bite-after-bite of traditional Peking Duck will be happy to see Chyna Club's carved tableside for a four-wrap taste before the rest is returned to the kitchen for another five plates. Coursed out across two and a half hours, though those going to a show can request faster service, fans of Shrimp Toast will find Chef Chen's version light like Quenelles de Brochet while Peking Duck Salad features mixed Greens with a generous amount of Duck, Citrus, Almonds and Peanut Dressing. No less impressive with 12-hour Duck Consomme, complex yet clear as a bell around delicate Dumplings, preserved Morels add a lot of earth to Wok-Tossed Duck with Peppers and Bean Sauce offered alongside Duck Fat Rice and perfectly cooked Chow Mein. Busier than one might expect on Sunday at Fontainebleau, though the server from Hong Kong always found time to talk with guests as time allowed, $42 Walnut Prawns seem expensive until one realizes they are U-5 Tiger Prawns cooked snappy beneath faultless batter in naturally sweetened Sauce with pops of Caviar. Wrapping with Dessert, a Choux "Swan" taking inspiration from Black Forest Cake to delight the eyes and mouth, Coffee or Tea sees proper Petit Fours including a honest-to-goodness Financier and Guava Gelees.

TLDR: Hard to begin to explain this place. The entrance to the restaurant is super lowkey unlike those of all the restaurants in the Fontainebleau, but unlike most hole-in-the wall Chinese restaurants, the interior of this restaurant is an elegant collection of different spaces ranging from spacious and modern dining rooms, to cozy and stately reading rooms. The details here are to be admired, especially paired with their simple yet perfectly executed Chinese dishes. Service was attentive, and I would go back here any day. ------ FOOD: The crispy duck salad and tofu eggplant claypots are must-orders in my book. Don't expect anything mind-blowing or surprising with these dishes -- they are both relatively simple but the flavors hit all the right notes. Food came out quickly and was portioned out for you. ------ AMBIANCE / SERVICE: Multiple different dining spaces, but I was led past the more modern space and into a cozy replica of a newly-built reading room or private study. I got to sit along the velvet-lined booth seating up against some bookshelves, which made for a comfortable seat. My waitress was super lovely and deserves all the props for having great recommendations and a fantastic personality. It's hard to find this restaurant. Follow the signs in the Fontainebleau, ask employees for directions, and look for someone standing at a podium outside a door. You'll see the Chyna Club sign right above -- that's where you want to go.

This upscale Chinese american restaurant is located in the newly built Fontainebleau, a hotel project and construction that was being halted for so long. This place is fairly new as it opened when the hotel opened back in 2023. Chyna club is more like a Cantonese cuisine and the interior setting looks like a club. It is not that bright so the lighting is comfortable. Dress code is business casual. Severs and staff are super friendly and nice. We had a few conversations with them. Food is delicious! I can taste it like it has that authentic feel to it although of course you cannot compare it to restaurants in Hong Kong or China but to find it in Vegas, it's very surprising. Cost of it is more on the expensive side. People might think the food is good but its not worth it because of how expensive it is. Yes and no. While its expensive but it's also the experiences, service, the vibe and etc. Highly recommended to come and try this!

Ambiance is GORGEOUS Host stand/entrance to restaurant was a little hidden- it's to the left of washing potato Hostess was professional + left a great first impression! (She was gorgeous, stern but very friendly) Food was SO YUM Peking duck was incredible although I do wish they separated the crispy skin so we could add a piece onto all the other cuts Fantastic place, will def be back! ALSO! Their clarified Bloody Mary was BOMB!

Excellent Cantonese restaurant located within the Fontainebleau in LV. This place has an amazing ambiance, service and a fantastic menu. Would totally come back here each time that I'm in vegas.

Ambience of this place is warm and cozy, classy, and upscale all at once. Service was impeccable, starting with a manager who offered me to place my purse in her office so that I don't lose it or drop it or forget it, waiters or knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. Plus, they treat you like royalty. We went there three times in two visits in Vegas in the last four months so clearly they know how to do food!

Don't miss the duck!! Simply amazing!!

No. With that many people you should order at least 2, possibly even 3 depending how much each person may eat and other dishes ordered.

Yep. It's not a place you have to dress up, although you can. You can always call and ask beforehand, though.

It's one of those situations in life where you come in with such positive preconceptions that you don't want it to be ruined in any way. I can happily report this place lives up to the expectations. You must come here during sangria hour (very happy). This is by far the best value I've had on strip. $4-10 a plate for this quality of food is unbelievable. I came prepared to drop serious money and my wallet could not outrace my appetite. The service was really special. I expressed regret in a second language about the dissapearance of an old menu item and the waitress picked up on it immediately and asked what I was looking for. She said they would have it custom made no problem. It was the pan con tomate with boquerones. The anchovies being marinated in vinegar instead of oil is phenomenal. So good and the service so nice that we ordered twice. They could've overcharged for an off-menu item but they didn't and that takes restraint and respect. I've been to vegas so many times and I've been up and down spring mountain road and the strip to some of the best restaurants in these areas for the past 10 years. I always try to have one nice meal on the strip and in all my experiences this is up there with L'Atelier when it comes to fine dining but still feeling full and satiated. If you're like me and when you think of dessert you want cheese, the basque cheesecake dessert here is probably the best meal finisher I've had in years. Please get it and leave some for the next days breakfast. The one area for improvement was the weakness of the sangria. Seemed a bit watered down, though the frozen version was great. I already had a smile on my face but seeing old clips of Made in Spain playing in the background really sealed the deal. I'll be back Jaleo, never change.

My family made a reservation because they wanted to celebrate my birthday, so I was really looking forward to it. When it is your birthday, even a small detail feels a little more important. You want the night to feel special, smooth, and happy from the beginning. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there seemed to be a small issue with the reservation, and the table we were given was much smaller than expected. Since we were there as a family for a birthday dinner, it felt uncomfortable at first. I have to be honest -- my mood was not great in the beginning. It was one of those moments where you think, "Oh no, is this how the night is going to start?" But then the food started coming out, and Hachi completely turned the night around. The first thing that changed my mood was the beer. The draft beer was served in an unbelievably icy-cold mug. It was not just cold -- it looked and felt like it had come straight out of a freezer. The foam was smooth, the beer was crisp, and the first sip was so refreshing that I almost forgot I had been upset a few minutes earlier. That beer alone deserves applause. Sometimes a perfect cold beer can fix a whole mood, and this one absolutely did. The biggest highlight of the night was the tuna toro. It was incredible. The texture was so soft and delicate that it almost felt like cotton candy melting in my mouth. Rich, buttery, fresh, and so smooth. It was the kind of bite that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a second. We loved it so much that we ordered it three times. Ordering the same dish three times says everything. It was not a maybe. It was not a "let's think about it." It was a clear yes every time. The skewers were also very good. The grilled meats had a nice smoky flavor, and they were seasoned well without being too salty. They paired perfectly with the icy beer. But the shrimp skewer was especially memorable. The shrimp had that perfect bouncy, juicy texture. It was grilled nicely, still tender, and full of natural sweetness. Some grilled shrimp can become dry or forgettable, but this one had personality. Small skewer, big impact. We also enjoyed several other izakaya-style dishes. The grilled shishito peppers with bonito flakes were simple but delicious, and they helped balance out the richer dishes. The grilled squid had a great smoky flavor and a chewy texture that went so well with beer. These are exactly the kinds of dishes that make izakaya dining so fun -- one bite, one sip, one more bite, and suddenly the table is full of happy people. The sashimi platter was fresh and beautifully served over ice. There was a nice variety, including tuna, salmon, white fish, scallop, and ikura. Everything looked clean and fresh, and the presentation made it feel even more enjoyable. But honestly, the toro was the star. I will probably remember that toro for a long time. My daughter ordered tonkatsu, and that was also a huge hit. Sometimes at restaurants like this, kids' dishes can feel like an afterthought, but this tonkatsu was really good. It was crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. Seeing my daughter enjoy her food made my birthday dinner even better. As a mom, when your child eats well and is happy, the whole meal suddenly feels more peaceful. That is just the truth. Overall, Hachi started with a little frustration because of the reservation issue and the small table, but the food and drinks completely saved the night. The icy-cold beer, the amazing tuna toro, the juicy shrimp skewer, and the tonkatsu were all memorable. The food was strong enough to make us forget the rough beginning, and by the end of the meal, we were all happy. Las Vegas has so many flashy restaurants, but Hachi has that casual, comfortable izakaya charm. It is the kind of place where you order many small dishes, share with the table, drink something cold, and let the night slowly become fun. I would definitely come back next time I am in Las Vegas. Next time, I already know what I am ordering first: an icy-cold beer and tuna toro. And honestly, I may order the toro twice from the beginning, because one order is definitely not enough.

The latter two are vegetarian and I wanted to go for a vegetarian friendly restaurant just for them. The olive oil tasting was my idea so I also had to choose the restaurant. My LTP and I actually went to a different tapas restaurant about a month ago and we loved it. So I wanted to try one of these again. Our tasting was scheduled to start at 6:00pm and I booked a reservation for 4:00pm through OpenTable. They have a very spacious patio, but due to the excessive heat warning in place at the time, we decided to dine inside. I didn't look at their hours of operation beforehand, so when we walked in, it was empty. Then I noticed that they open at 4:00pm on Saturday's and we were literally the first customers inside. We got a spacious table near the back of the restaurant, where our waiter for the day was Zach. He explained to us that all their food on the menu is based out of Spain, especially the paella, which takes about 40 minutes to cook and is meant to serve about two-four people. We started off with some drinks, where I got the mango margarita, my LTP and my dad respectively got the Atomic Duck and the El Pato Loco Mexican Lager from Able Baker, and my mom and my best friend's mom and stepdad shared a bottle of Chardonnay. While the margarita was on a bit of the sweet side compared to other margaritas I've had, it was still really good and it had a really fruity taste to it. We ordered the following and all six of us shared most of them; short rib pintxo, pork belly pave, patatas bravas, ole mis croquetas, iberico dates, and chicken tinga/braise short rib empanadas. Initially, I ordered just the chicken tinga for myself and my LTP was supposed to get the braise short rib, but my plate had chicken tinga and braise short rib together. That was ok, though, because both the chicken and short rib were absolutely delicious. The short rib pintxo came on a stick, with the rib falling off the stick as I took the first bite out of it. The pork belly pave was cooked perfectly. The patatas brava were spicy, but I would say 'good' spicy. The croquetas were overall one of my favorites; when I sliced it down the middle with my fork, the mashed potato filling spilled out of it. Hands down, Tres was a fantastic restaurant. The portions weren't too big or too small and everything here was so good. Would love to sit on their patio when the weather becomes cooler!

Well I'm happy to say that A Different Beast was an incredible dining experience and honestly, one of the best values I've found in Vegas, especially for food at this level. We did the highest-tier all-you-can-eat menu for $65, and I was genuinely blown away by both the quality and the variety. A few specialty items are limited to one per person, but the majority of the menu can be reordered, and there are SO many things to try that you absolutely will not leave hungry. The tapas are intentionally small. a beautifully composed bite for each person at the table, which makes it feel much more like an elevated tasting experience than a traditional AYCE restaurant. And almost everything we tried was a hit. The foie gras was incredible and something I had never tried before. The burnt plum tart is PHENOMENAL. Do yourself a favor and order more than one. We also loved the queso de manchego, filet mignon, scallop ceviche, toro crudo, patatas bravas, and ensalada de naranjas. The spring peas with rose cream were another standout. Every dish felt thoughtful, fresh, layered, and genuinely interesting. Even visually, each plate felt like a little work of art. Dessert was just as good. We tried the Basque cheesecake and the cremeux helado de chocolate blanco, which was this delicious white-chocolate custard-like dessert with toasted marshmallow on top. Both were excellent. What impressed me most was the consistency. It's rare to order this many different dishes and not have a few misses, but there truly wasn't anything we disliked. You can tell they're using high-quality ingredients and putting real thought, creativity, and care into every bite. The service was impeccable as well. Everyone was attentive without being intrusive, and because it's AYCE, that matters. We never had to sit around trying to flag someone down when we wanted to reorder something. The restaurant was also very clean and the entire experience felt polished from beginning to end. If this exact meal and experience were on the Strip, I could easily imagine paying hundreds of dollars for it. Instead, you're getting an extremely elevated, creative and interesting tasting experience in Chinatown for $65. In this economy, finding that combination of quality AND value feels almost unheard of. I also loved how interactive the meal became. Because you're constantly trying new flavors and textures, everyone at the table naturally starts talking about each dish...what they loved, what surprised them, what they want another round of. In a world where everyone is constantly staring at their phones, there was something really refreshing about a meal that actually created conversation and became an experience in itself. I've already recommended A Different Beast to a ton of people, and I'll continue to. If you enjoy trying new things and appreciate creative, beautifully executed food, GO. This place really is a different beast.

I came specifically for the foie gras, which required purchasing the $65 premium AYCE option, nearly $100 after tax and tip. This was the one meal on my trip I had specifically planned to splurge on, so I was especially disappointed. I understand the small toast since these are pintxos, but the foie gras was far too rich for such a tiny piece of bread and lacked the flavor and accompaniments that usually help balance and elevate the dish. It tasted overwhelmingly rich and almost bacon-like, to the point that I couldn't finish it. The corn elote and mini patatas bravas were easily our favorites. I also enjoyed the crab pintxo and plum tart, although the crab was fairly generic rather than particularly memorable. For $65, I expected considerably more. Three days later, I'm still disappointed that my splurge meal ended up being an AYCE experience where we genuinely enjoyed so few of the dishes. Great service, but unfortunately the food quality and value just weren't there for us.

They are also incredibly kind and attentive to kids. They have a cute kids' plate and cup set, although my daughter decided she didn't want to use them this time. The foie gras is THE BEST. I love it every single time--it's one of the dishes I always look forward to. We also tried their new mapo tofu, and it was incredible! Unfortunately, it tends to sell out because they don't have enough pots to keep up with demand, which is such a shame because it's SO good. Since my daughter can't eat spicy food, they were kind enough to accommodate us by serving the sauce on the side and giving her just the tofu. She basically ate all of it and left the sauce for us! The grilled dishes are also fantastic--super juicy while still cooked all the way through, with that perfect amount of crispiness on the outside. Everything is just so well done. The only downside is that it can get really hot inside. The AC doesn't seem to be strong enough, especially when the restaurant is busy, so hopefully they can improve the temperature because it would make the dining experience even better. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time! This is not a place where you want to just show up and hope to get a table. It's popular for a reason!
