Was craving some saucy noodles so what could be more saucier than JjaJang myun? Hoped onto uber eats and saw this place so decided to give it a shot. When the order arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of the bag. Portions are generous but a bit misleading. Didn't get shrimp and was replaced without informing me with spring rolls. The sauce said there was pork, but was mainly onions. Overall still very satisfying.

Went back to order Yuringi(deep fried chicken with sliced chili and fresh iceberg) this time. I recommend to order Yuringi instead of Tangsuyuk. I find that portion size is bigger and i like say sauce based tangy sauce better.

Really nice, attentive staff. We stopped in for a small appetizer while waiting to meet friends at a nearby restaurant but we enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back for a full meal. The tteokbokki was nice and spicy and I love the pickled radish. Didn't love the onion and paste but that's okay!

Authentic Korean-Chinese cuisine! I was super excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. We ordered a number of classics of this cuisine and we satisfied with all of our dishes. There were 4 of us and we were totally stuffed at the end of our meal. You order at your table on a tablet and the food comes out pretty quickly. Service was efficient and we were comfortably seated for an early dinnertime. I'm definitely going to be back!

You walk up a goldcolored hallway and 2 flights of stairs before reaching the restaurant. The host stand is farther inside.....which will make sense once you are physically in the space. The workers were very friendly and funny. I had a great time bantering with them. My friend from 8th grade and I reunited for the first time in 21 years over dinner. This was one of her picks, and I am deeply grateful she chose it. Appetizers: Rock Shrimp, Fatty Tuna Nigiri, Crispy Rice Tuna Entrée: Jidori Chicken Drinks: Sangria, Champagne Dessert: Yuzu Citrus The rock shrimp was delicious. We loved the sauce it was tossed in. My friend is not usually a shrimp fan but she polished it off for me. The fatty tuna nigiri was great, as expected, and the crispy rice tuna was phenomenal. The Jidori chicken was delightful. We loved the sauce, and the mashed potatoes were pillowy. I did not have the sangria but my friend said it was the best she had ever had. The yuzu citrus dessert came with strawberry gelato and cookie crumbs. The gelato was not overly sweet and the yuzu was perfectly tart. They also put a little "Reunited" note on the dessert plate, which we both thought was such a sweet touch. Definitely pricey, but definitely worth it. Recommended it to my Toronto friends, I really want to go back and get that king crab rice.

I took myself to Akira Back for a solo birthday dining experience. I had plans later that night and…read moreliterally ended up opening up the place (seriously, security let me in), so the first 20 minutes or so I had the place to myself, which was really cool. It's a gorgeous setting and has a complete vibe of luxury. I thought the tacos were yummy, but the meat didn't feel special like you expect when you hear waygu. It also wasn't as earthy as I've experienced with waygu, but I didn't really mind that. I also got the Brother From Another Mother roll and really enjoyed that. All The dishes are very aesthetic and enjoyable. I was surprised at the end with a little birthday treat. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and I'd definitely go back.

The staff helped us through the menu and gave us recommendations, and was so kind and fun to chat with! I had gotten the chicken katsu and my friend the beef tartar bibimbap. Both came with amazing portions and we had food to spare. The katsu was perfectly crispy, and the house made sauce was perfectly seasoned and amazing! It also came with apples and salad on the side which was a perfect pallet cleanser. The bibimbap had a great variety of toppings and everything was seasoned well. When thoroughly mixed, everything bite had a bit of everything and it was delicious. On top of the food u get when you order, the meal also comes with 6 different sides. There was 3 different kimchi, braised potatoes and 2 others that I'm not sure what they are, but they were delicious. My favourite was the potatoes and kimchi! Overall this is an amazing place to bring those close to you for delicious korean food!

Hence we entered Jin Dai Lae. Good decision (yes, I am patting my back). Entree pricing was $3 to $4 lower than Markham/Richmond Hill. Portion was so big that you would be full, and might have to doggy bag. Most importantly, food tasted good. Short ribs stew had many pieces of beef. Squids hot plate was saucy. It wasn't too spicy, so it was good for me (menu didn't have a chilli sign either). For people who like it hot, you can ask for some chilli sauce.
