I called the restaurant, they had someone answer the phone who doesn't speak English and only speaks Spanish. I mean, I think the phone rep speaking English is definitely not a bad idea when your customers speak English, but let's put that aside, I happen to know a little rusty Spanish so I spoke to him and I told him I didn't order desert on purpose , but he can send extra of an item I already did order , he said it was too late and just hung up on me. Apparently, their frier would not turn on, so basically fries were taken to another restaurant in the food hall, brought back, and served to me. Which made things take a little longer, but was more a point of craziness for the staff than me. Neither the fries, or the burger suffered at all. In fact, the burger was one of the most on-point smashburgers I have had in recent memory. A wonderful brown crust on both smashed patties, and skirted with lots of melty cheese. The bun definitely had a rich buttery flavor, and it all came together nicely. I would pay more for my food to have the staff paid better. I do not want an extra fee that makes my food more expensive.
