We ordered delivery from Postmates. Portions were pricey. We noticed each item was $2-$4 more PER item than if you went and ordered from the restaurant. So $6-7 gyro is now $8-9 bucks and the plates go from $12 to $15 just for delivery. No other restaurant has that high of a mark-up. It's usually $1 more per item which is more reasonable. Despite this (its not a big deal) my issue was how bland the food was. The chicken gyro, bland. The veg combo plate, 4 cauliflower florets and 3 falafels for $12?! Bland hummus. We order food from here too many times not to give Gyro Time five stars. This has been our take out food of choice this quarantine. I usually get the lamb/beef gyro plate and my husband usually gets the lamb chop plate but we have tried other stuff from the menu. We also get some Greek fries which are delicious. I dont know what they put in the rice but I can literally eat that on its own. I havent tried anything that I dislike from the menu. read more

Excellent local spot! Super friendly service and delicious food. The chicken gyro plate is amazing, great sauce and spices, before I even tasted anything I was bowled over by how good it smelled. In fact, they may serve some of the best falafels I've ever had- perfectly crisp, light, and airy (not like the dense bricks you get at some places). The falafel Mediterranean plate is an amazing sampler of their vegetarian flavors- including a perfectly smoky baba ghanouj and creamy hummus. You won't want to miss the tabouli- they were super nice and let me sub it in place of the green salad, but adding it on would also be a superb addition and not too much. I had initially reviewed this place to be 5 Stars. Easily Top 5 in the city. Went back to this place after 4-5 Months and I was disappointed. When it opened this place was awesome. The quality and the quantity of food has dropped drastically. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma which literally had 4-5 small pieces of chicken and was probably half of what it used to be when the place was new. You'd expect a lot more food for 10$. There used to be another guy/Owner at the counter who'd be friendly and gave great service. Kept an eye in the kitchen to make sure food comes out right but thats not the case anymore. read more

I paid $15+ dollars for a beef & lamb gyro sandwich and 6 dolmas. I get these items for lunch often when I can afford to eat lunch out. I was fairly disappointed in having tried them out this first time. I will probably not go back. - Unlike most of gyro places I've tried, this place uses yellow iceberg lettuce instead of romaine (which actually has nutritional value unlike iceberg). - The meat is saltier than what I am used to and prefer. - Instead of chopping the tomato or otherwise putting a full slice worth of tomato inside the sandwich, there was a modest half slice of unusually soft tomato set outside the sandwich. - There was a single thin slice of cucumber outside also, but although I prefer the cucumber chopped and mixed inside the pita, I've seen it set outside before. - The tzatziki is much thicker than I've previously experienced, had no detectable cucumber, and tasted very strongly of vinegar and sour cream with no yogurt flavor. - The dolmas ranged in size from approximately half to just under 2/3 of the size I am used to. The filling was good but not great. I expected something more for $7. They were served in a bed of chopped pale white and yellow iceberg lettuce. That being said, the cashier was very pleasant, and the other staff with whom I interacted were super friendly. That's why I am giving them 3 stars overall even though the food was definitely not worth the price. I have absolutely no idea how absolutely no one has given this place even one review that's less than stellar. It's not Canlis or the restaurant at the top of the Space Needle, that makes no sense to me at all. read more

This place has such yummy food, the humus is by far the best I have ever eaten. We are foodies and everyone I share the food with say it is delicious. We even took it on vacation down to the ocean. I dream of their baklava (2 kinds) and they have made us off the menu items as well. Now the staff...the sweetest friendliest people around. From the owners to the cooks, they treat you like family. Ordered vegetarian platter to go which had falafel, cooked cauliflower and hummus included. The falafel was a little dry but still tasty as I made a mini gyros with the pita, hummus, lettuce and tomato included in the platter. The cauliflower was really good and cooked perfectly. I could only finish half of this platter at dinner so saved it for lunch the next day. East to find as it's on Greenwood Ave N and has free parking out the front of it. read more

So, I came here because my boyfriend LOVES gyros, and once he finds out about a gyro place he will not shut up about it. I personally never choose to eat gyros or Mediterranean food, not because it's not good and I don't enjoy it while I'm eating it, it's just that I think my tastes are different and it's not something I generally go out of my way for. Just wanted to explain that because it's kind of important, I mean I gave this place 5 stars and I'm not even a big fan of this general type of food. Let me explain why. The guy that seemingly owns this place is extremely nice. SO NICE! I kept saying that for hours after we left. "That guy was so nice!" He obviously really cared about his customers and his product. He came around and made sure everyone was happy with what they ordered, asked if we wanted any ketchup, sauces, etc. He asked if we wanted their special hot sauce. Um, yeah! Of course! He came back with ketchup, tobasco, and their special sauce in little cups. Their special hot sauce is very good. It has a slow burn, if that makes sense. It's not spicy at first but then it hits you, in a good way. Personally, as someone who is not a spicy food person, I only put a little bit on my food and it was great. We both ordered #5, which is the gyro sandwich, made with beef and lamb. The pita was great, the meat was great, the tzatziki sauce was great. Tzatziki sauce is usually a toss up for me- sometimes it's flavorless, but here it was not! The veggies all tasted fresh. We also both ordered french fries and they had this spice mixture sprinkled over top and it was quite good! While we were sitting there there were some guys next door who started smoking and it began wafting into the restaurant, and the owner went out and asked them nicely to move a bit farther. I thought this was nice and just another way he showed that he really, really cares about his business and customers. Cause smoke while you're eating is gross. At the end of our meal he ran over and told us he'd take care of the trays, which was definitely not necessary, but also super nice (how many times can I say nice in a review). We went up to the register again, because okay, I know I said I'm not huge on Mediterranean food but I LOVE ME SOME BAKLAVA! I grew up eating it fairly regularly (for a white person, anyway). He had me pick one from their display and ended up giving it to us on the house. WHAT! This made my entire day, I know that might be weird, but it was SO NICE! I felt so happy. I'm not sure if they make the baklava there but I know it is pretty time consuming to make with all of the layers of filo and the sticky syrup/honey. My mom used to make it and it would take forever, or maybe it was because I was a child and I wanted dessert immediately. All in all, I know we'll definitely be back- my boyfriend loves gyros. Also, it is a very good deal for the amount of food you get. And to top all of that off, the owner is wonderful! The only downside is that it's kind of a drive for us (15 minutes) for food seeing as we have a lot of food options in walking distance of us. But I highly doubt that will deter us from coming here frequently. read more
