The food was not bad but customer service was bad . I was placing order my son switched from cheese burger to chicken gyro , the order was was to go . The receipt said for here , I went back and fixed it , then I realized the order was taken for both burger and gyro. I approached the cashier at the desk , she told me she repeated the order multiple times ( she didn't , she said very fast one time and we are tourists visiting for the first time ) . I told her not to worry and also ordered the chicken my younger son wanted . The problem is: this restaurant has chatty girls taking orders and not interested in listening to customers and blaming the customer for wrong order. Girls were too chatty , too abrupt and not interested With customers and blamed the customer for the wrong order. This not your average kebab place. They probably chose the name kebab becsuse their burger patties are flavored like chappal kabas of North western Pakistan. This innovation makes the whole proposition of their burgers so much more delightful than any McDonald's, Burger King or any "usual" burger joint. Their gyro plate also comes with a flavored rice, not the usual, bland, halal guys like affair. We were visiting Denver for the weekend and found this place close to where we were staying. I'm so glad we found it because their food is absolutely delicious! Their burgers consist of gourmet hand made burger patties, and their gyros by far the best I ever had. Service was fast and prices are super reasonable. My favorite is the gyro and chicken gyro sandwich. My husband loved the burgers. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends who visit Denver. I tried this place today for the first time and was extremely impressed- now being a Greek American I know my gyros and let me tell you this gyros shack hidden just off Parker road was incredible - good "original gyro" the sauce was impeccable and absolutely mouth watering, the red onions and tomatoes as well as the lettuce were fresh and tastey- the only problem was the complex menu- super gyro for sure tho was excellent - I recommend! read more

Decent gyro food. I thought it was all prepared and seasoned well. Beef samosas were delicious. Hummus was fresh made and had more flavor then the norm. Friendly service but slow. The place is cramped and the plumbing was backed up while I was there. The prices are a bit high and I didn't feel that the portion size of the gyro was anything to be excited about. The fried chicken looked was hit or miss. The pieces fresh out of the fryer were great but the ones that had been sitting longer were a disappointment. While it's not a bad place, this is not a place to go out of your way for. Some of the best Zabiha food you can get that isn't your standard Arab fare. When I opened it up at home, I was pleasantly surprised with the size and how well it held up on the drive home. But what the heck was up with the french fries inside the gyro? I was able to pick them out (making quite a mess with each bite), but I will definitely make note next time I am there because soggy french fries inside a gyro tastes just about how you think it would - not too good. read more

I was debating between giving this place 2 or 3 stars. They were friendly, but between the food and the confusion over my Yelp take-out order, it seems fair to give them 2 stars. I placed an order through Yelp/Eat24 about a week ago for a couple of gyros and fries. About 10 minutes after I placed the order, Yelp contacted me to tell me that they had tried to call Gyros & Kabobs several times now and could not get through to place the order with the restaurant. I also tried to call the restaurant and received a recording saying that their number was not in service. At this point, I decided to just drive to the restaurant since I had already paid for my order online and live close. When I arrived, I told the man at the register that I was there to pick up a take-out order I had placed with Yelp. As I expected, they had no record of the order. One of the men, who appeared to be in charge, placed the blame on Yelp, saying that Yelp usually calls to place the order and that the restaurant could not know about the order since Yelp did not call. The thing is, Yelp had tried to call, as had I. The man I spoke with about the issue was professional and apologetic, but did not offer to comp any portion of the meal to compensate me for the time I had wasted because their phone was not in service. A business should not offer for customers to order through Yelp if they have no way of receiving the order. I had ordered online to save time, but ended up spending over an hour before I got my food. Now onto the food itself. My gyro was subpar. There was very little meat in it, and what meat was in there was paper thin. It was decently flavorful, but there just was not enough of it. Most bites were of pita and lettuce. There was not a variety of fresh vegetables in the gyro either; there was only lettuce that looked and tasted like it was a bagged salad mix. There was some ranch dressing tossed in with the lettuce, but no seasoning beyond that. My girlfriend's fries were similarly unimpressive - very basic, under-seasoned fries with some chili powdered dusted on them. In my opinion, this place does not live up to the 4-star average it has on Yelp. read more
