Wonderfully yummy! This is one of my husband's favorite spots and we stopped by for a quick lunch. Service is quick and easy and the food is delicious, price isn't bad either. بارك الله فيهم

I wish I had a better picture but got the chicken shawarma plate and flalafels to go! I split the two with someone. The portions are massive which is really nice and the chicken is yummy. The chicken is pretty tender and flavorful. I really like the zhoug on the side too! I'd get food here again if I was in the area!

Fried chicken at a kabob spot?! Yes!

A hole in a wall along South Parker road, Gyros and Kabob isnt a showy spot but it offers great food at reasonable prices. You won't get much from customer service but you'll expect consistent food day in day out. Not going to lie but my favorite thing on their menu is their fried chicken. It is juicy, well seasoned and boy that chicken skin! Other than Korean fried chicken that lines Havana Street, this is my other go to spot if I wanted any sort of fried chicken. My second favorite item on their menu is just like the restaurant name suggests are their gyros. Specifically the Greek gyro which is well packed with meats and veggies. You get a lot of food for under 10 bucks. The gyro meat is flavorful and the pita is soft and holds everything together. Highly recommend!

Still amazing food, still amazingly friendly service, but now they updated the interior! Brand new booths, tables, chairs, floor, tiles. I love what they did to revitalize the interior. Clean!

Best gyros in the area. Good price, comes out quick and is hard to beat. 10/10 recommend.

Great Mediterranean food previous to this visit BUT after finding this (see attached photos) with the mold we are skeptical...

Finally made it in to Gyros & Kabobs. Small interior with booths and tables. Could use an update, but it does the job. Friendly staff, but they were quite loud behind the counter talking/fighting and such. The chicken gyro was ready immediately, but the chicken kabob plate took about 30 minutes. Quite long for the few people that ordered ahead of us. Worth the wait? Yes. The chicken was tender with a little bit of spice and incredibly flavorful. The rice and salad were good. The pita bread could have been better, it was too hard. Baklava was a little hard, but had a great flavor. All in all, it's worth the trip, just account for extra time if you're in a time crunch.

Excellent gyro sandwiches. Very tasty pita bread and savory slices of gyro meat. I prefer the sandwiches and get some sides of samosas to complete your meal. Quick service and reasonable price.

This place is amazing. The owner was super friendly. The food was superb. I've been to a lot of Mediterranean places all over the country and this is a top 3 spot.

I can't say enough about this amazing small business! I have lived in the area for 5 years and I'm just now discovering this gem! Amazing food, great people, local! My favs are Chicken shawarma plate and of course the traditional gyros.

Very tasty Gyros, chicken shawarma and other foods. The shawarma plate was a box full of cubed shawarma with a delicious sauce over spiced rice with a salad and side of spicy green salsa. After driving by and wondering how this place was finally ordered food from them last night. It is take out only right now. They are enforcing social distancing and requiring everyone wear masks. The only item I didn't like was the mango lassi. It was very watery and not like those at most Indian restaurants. Perhaps it is different for middle eastern countries.

So good! First timer today and best gyro ever and hubs loved his chicken shwarma! Super kind owner was very friendly too- gave my daughter free fries and a lollipop! Wwill be back.

Amazing! Gyro plate was out of this world! The rice tasted wood fired. A little spicy so ask for no siracha if you don't like spicy food.

I was excited to try after watching a documentary on the Somm channel about that specific winemaker. The wine was delicious. Additionally, I was so happy to see small boutique wine from the Santa Barbara area like Amevive and A Tribute to Grace. Our server Yvonne guided our menu choices thoughtfully and enhanced our experience with excellent service. We started with watermelon feta salad with baby cilantro, walnuts, and harissa oil. The watermelon was cool, sweet, and crisp and the flavors balanced perfectly. If you are a pickle lover you must get the pickles. I think I will be dreaming of them. The pickled cabbage, okra, califlower and snap peas were just the best! The pitas were puffy, but not hollow, and warm. There was also an olive oil dipping sauce that complemented everything. Star of the show for me was the forgaged mushrooms and hummus. These were the most delicious mushrooms and snoothest hummus I have ever experienced, and I think there might be magicians in the kitchen. Our other dishes were cabbage and eggplant. Both taste explosions, done masterfully with a sauce, color and texture. This food is truly incredible, highly recommend. I am in Denver for work, anytime I travel back to Denver I will for sure return to Safta.

So unexpected, refreshing, and delicious. This isn't just a place to grab something to eat--it's an experience. Go hungry, order a bunch of things, share everything, and experiment. I won't say which, but boy, was it a letdown. The falafel were like little hockey pucks and the pita were like cardboard, flat and stale-tasting. I didn't think you could screw up pita. Only the hummus was passable. All this to say that I have been SPOILED by moving within walking distance of the Byblos in Alamo Placita, which is where a little taco place used to be. It's in a sweet little spot with patio seating on the corner of 4th and Corona, but the draw is really the food. I can't vouch for the meat dishes as a vegan, but WOW is their pita soft, fresh and flavorful, and they replenish it readily. Their hummus is excellent, their baba ghanoush is the best I've had since leaving the greater Boston area (with its abundance of outstanding ethnic restaurants) and the eggplant moussaka is fantastic. Plus they put this fully vegan cream dressing on the garden salad that is out of this world. Byblos has completely ruined me for a lot of other restaurants. As I'm writing this I think I've talked myself into going there for lunch!
