Wonderfully yummy! This is one of my husband's favorite spots and we stopped by for a quick lunch. Service is quick and easy and the food is delicious, price isn't bad either. بارك الله فيهم

I wish I had a better picture but got the chicken shawarma plate and flalafels to go! I split the two with someone. The portions are massive which is really nice and the chicken is yummy. The chicken is pretty tender and flavorful. I really like the zhoug on the side too! I'd get food here again if I was in the area!

Fried chicken at a kabob spot?! Yes!

A hole in a wall along South Parker road, Gyros and Kabob isnt a showy spot but it offers great food at reasonable prices. You won't get much from customer service but you'll expect consistent food day in day out. Not going to lie but my favorite thing on their menu is their fried chicken. It is juicy, well seasoned and boy that chicken skin! Other than Korean fried chicken that lines Havana Street, this is my other go to spot if I wanted any sort of fried chicken. My second favorite item on their menu is just like the restaurant name suggests are their gyros. Specifically the Greek gyro which is well packed with meats and veggies. You get a lot of food for under 10 bucks. The gyro meat is flavorful and the pita is soft and holds everything together. Highly recommend!

Still amazing food, still amazingly friendly service, but now they updated the interior! Brand new booths, tables, chairs, floor, tiles. I love what they did to revitalize the interior. Clean!

Best gyros in the area. Good price, comes out quick and is hard to beat. 10/10 recommend.

Great Mediterranean food previous to this visit BUT after finding this (see attached photos) with the mold we are skeptical...

Finally made it in to Gyros & Kabobs. Small interior with booths and tables. Could use an update, but it does the job. Friendly staff, but they were quite loud behind the counter talking/fighting and such. The chicken gyro was ready immediately, but the chicken kabob plate took about 30 minutes. Quite long for the few people that ordered ahead of us. Worth the wait? Yes. The chicken was tender with a little bit of spice and incredibly flavorful. The rice and salad were good. The pita bread could have been better, it was too hard. Baklava was a little hard, but had a great flavor. All in all, it's worth the trip, just account for extra time if you're in a time crunch.

Excellent gyro sandwiches. Very tasty pita bread and savory slices of gyro meat. I prefer the sandwiches and get some sides of samosas to complete your meal. Quick service and reasonable price.

This place is amazing. The owner was super friendly. The food was superb. I've been to a lot of Mediterranean places all over the country and this is a top 3 spot.

I can't say enough about this amazing small business! I have lived in the area for 5 years and I'm just now discovering this gem! Amazing food, great people, local! My favs are Chicken shawarma plate and of course the traditional gyros.

Very tasty Gyros, chicken shawarma and other foods. The shawarma plate was a box full of cubed shawarma with a delicious sauce over spiced rice with a salad and side of spicy green salsa. After driving by and wondering how this place was finally ordered food from them last night. It is take out only right now. They are enforcing social distancing and requiring everyone wear masks. The only item I didn't like was the mango lassi. It was very watery and not like those at most Indian restaurants. Perhaps it is different for middle eastern countries.

For a hole in the wall place, their food is absolutely delicious. I typically get the gyro plate, and it serves as two meals for me.

What I witnessed while waiting was unbelievable. The hardworking young woman behind the counter was doing absolutely everything. She was taking orders, making food, handling the fries, processing payments, and trying to keep up with customers, while one other guy somewhat helped her, looked like he was new. She was literally running around nonstop and sweating so much that she looked like a football player trying to take on an entire team by herself. There were only about four customers inside, yet the operation was complete chaos. A customer before me had ordered a pizza that was made incorrectly, and after waiting 25 minutes, she demanded a refund because she still didn't have a proper order. Meanwhile, I waited 28 minutes for my chicken wraps and still had nothing. At that point, I requested a refund and left. What made the situation even worse was seeing the owner sitting outside casually chatting and sipping water with someone for the whole time that actually was also an employee while all of this was happening. The hardworking girl even went outside to ask for help, but instead of stepping in, the owner sent her back inside to handle refunds and continue preparing orders by herself. On top of that, the restaurant itself didn't leave a great impression. There was a large object sitting in the dining area covered with what appeared to be a plastic sheet, with parts sticking out from the sides. It looked out of place and gave the restaurant an unfinished, neglected appearance. If this has been sitting there for a while, it should have been addressed long ago. Customers shouldn't have to look at covered equipment or storage items while trying to enjoy a meal. This is absolutely ridiculous. I genuinely hope that young woman finds a better job with better pay because she deserves it. She was the only person making any effort to keep the place running. The owner needs to understand that running a restaurant isn't just about serving food. Customer service, supporting your staff, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment come first. Until that changes, I can't recommend this place to anyone.

The saj flatbread is a chewier pita that I really enjoyed. The jalapeno pesto sauce is more like a chimmichurri, but delicious no matter what you call it with lots of fresh jalapeno and herbs, not a ton of heat. The salad sides can be a bit bland without adding sauces, my wife loved the hummus. Baklava was walnut filled, crispy, not too drenched in syrup so it didn't get soggy. The person who helped me was friendly and courteous, could see her double checking the orders to make sure they were right which I really appreciated. The place looks and tastes like it should be full all the time, but has been nearly empty when I and coworkers have gone so lets change that, this place should be packed.

What I really like about Asli is that it feels authentic and consistent. The grilled meats are full of flavor, the sides are fresh, and everything tastes like it was made with care. To update my most recent review of this place after getting me the Kafta Kabab plate…read more... Amazingly good quality food and friendly service!! On a super chilly Friday night, after I had been done with my second hustle business not too far from this restaurant, before I headed for another business I would need to take care of, I stopped here as I was famished. I simply couldn't think of any other place where I could get food that always promises quality where I wouldn't have to wait too long to get it. I was truly fearful that my uncontrollable appetite would swallow me had I gone to a different restaurant where I might end up waiting too long (LOL!!) My choice was right. And to be greeted by the same kind gentleman (who had always assisted me in the past) warmed up the core of my heart and soul. He did say to me that I should have called in to place my order ahead because he said that the kitchen was quite busy and that I might wait at least or as long as 20 minutes. I told him I was willing to wait although my stomach continued to yell at me from inside!! Well, I got lucky; it didn't take long. See...my assumption was right; this place never disappoints. This time, instead of the usual I get (the vegetarian plate), I tried something different. It's the Kafta Kabob plate. This is another great dish to consider ordering at this place as long as meat is part of your diet. The meat was unapologetically tender and well-seasoned. It was hard to fathom as to how they perfected this technique to cook it to its perfection. The accompanying salad and hummus were gracefully served in the same container. Did I say that Golden's hummus is one of the best? I think I did at least once. It is because of its impeccable creaminess. Awww...I can eat this thing almost everyday if I must. This is a tiny, more of a family-run restaurant type place. Inside is quite basic and yet it's never messy or dirty. This is a place you can comfortably sit and dine without worrying about its cleanliness; sanitation is not an issue. But most of all, you go here for the quality of food. This place easily beats a fine restaurant in an upscale neighborhood for sure.
