Amazing sandwiches! Lindsay is very kind and really takes pride in her shop and helping customers have a good time with good eats. You have to try the turkey sandwich with apple slices (I can't remember the name), but it's DELICIOUS! Don't forget to eat a white chocolate macadamia cookie. I've eaten at Lindsay's a few times and I liked the tuna melt but the other day I had the roast beef sandwich with no special orders and man was that a great sandwich. Best roast beef in town. Lindsay's is quickly becoming my new 'go to' for lunch! They've got an extensive menu so there's something enticing no matter what I'm in the mood for. The clam chowder is awesome! (b4 trying Lindsay's, I didn't care much about clam chowder and would have never actually ordered a bowl, but upon being given a sample when I walked in the door, I was hooked!) Love the TBA as well. I think the best thing about this place, though, is the excellent customer service from Lindsay herself. Consistently excellent food. Their Reuben's are the best and Hagendaz shakes rule. And Lindsay herself is a wonderful person. She personally just delivered my food without even mentioning she was the owner. Nice to see the face of the business is a great person. I went here on Memorial weekend, visiting from out of town, planning for a relaxing breakfast and coffee and had a horrible experience. The staff was mainly rude and only conversed with me to try to upsell me extras; I ordered an americano with an extra shot and requested soya milk and ended up paying $6.50 for this coffee....I could get it at Starbucks for $4 or under. I order these all the time elsewhere and most places already have a large size with 3 shots and never charge extra for the soya milk. They do not tell you there are extra costs for these things. They charged almost $1 for the soya milk and charge almost $3 for an extra shot. Also, the woman who ordered AFTER me was served BEFORE me. Lately Sally and I, for unfortunate reasons, spent a little more than a week in Denver and Aurora, Colorado. Towards the end of our stay we drove over to Boulder to wander up and down the very colorful and funky Pearl Street Mall. For lunch and fortunate reasons we went in Lindsay's Boulder Deli, which is at 1148 Pearl Street at the corner of Broadway and the Pearl St. Mall. What a terrific place! The Hagen Daz ice cream is, of course, very, very good. The deli style sandwiches even better but the chicken soup -- sounds goofy, doesn't it? -- is the very, very best I have ever had, and I've had a lot! There was a point in time that I would have given this establishment a full five stars due to the excellent customer service and the delicious food. I'm sorry to say I no longer feel this way. I went in a week ago to get an Italian Stallion sandwich and was disappointed with the way the staff treated me and then even more disappointed that my sandwich was a mushed up mess due to the heavy condiments. Everybody has bad days though so I went in again the other night to get another sandwich and yet again I was appalled at the service. It appeared that the restaurant was understaffed, and even though it was busy it didn't seem to make the employees move any more quickly. Also a lot of cussing and talk about drugs/alcohol, not very professional at all. Getting my sandwich didn't take too long, but once again I was disappointed that I had spent nearly $10 on something that I couldn't even finish. I guess this is the new normal there.... read more

Holy God the food is so amazing here!! I had the New Yorker and it was one of the best sandwiches i have ever had. The customer service is absolutely amazing! its haagen-daz, but in a cool deli

Service was extremely poor. The cashier (I believe the manager) rang us and didn't give us a number and seemed very rushed/short. We then waited while blasting country music. It was so loud in fact that my brother-in-law got a migraine from the music. The only thing I could here outside of that music was the staff that were screaming at each other. In addition a man who I believe worked at this deli walked in covered in dirt with his dog asking for his pay check. I really don't think it's sanitary to have a dog in a restaurant. Anyways, after eating my small $9 sandwich, I then proceeded to use the restroom. While doing so, the employees pounded on the door three or four times. Once leaving, the manager confronted me and asked if I was okay in an extremely rude tone. The only reason this place is getting one star is because the taste of the small overpriced sandwich was decent. I would not recommend. read more
