House made ketchup is da bomb!
    Chris W.

James Beard take on fast food!!! You gotta come here if you like fast-food style smash burgers but want to experience what it is like when done with care and quality by a James Beard chef. I went with the classic cheeseburger, which comes with double patty, plenty of delicious pickles and the onions...and the thin cut onions were stand out! The burger was super tender! The brioche bun was toasted, and each bite was heaven! The fries are ordered as a separate side. They are proper cut potatoes, and what I really loved is they weren't greasy like normal fires! They were drier which paired really well with the burger grease. Now, I was not expecting the ketchup...the house made ketchup! I normally am not a fan of chefs making their own ketchup, but this time was different. It was truly amazing, better than store bought varieties. It has traditional ketchup flavors but was amped up with more pronounced seasonings.

    Ceaser salad

Came here on a random Monday to grab a quick bit. This was our first time here. The restaurant didn't have many patrons. Our waitress was good. We started off with a side ceaser salad which was a good size for the price. It was crunchy and had the right amount of dressing. For our main course we got the original burger and hot dog. The burger was seasoned and juicy. The downside was the fries were not fresh and they were cold. Also, they have a "special sauce" that taste like nothing. We also ordered a hotdog with toasted bread. It was so good! The relish was fresh and good as well. I would come back.

I really enjoyed the burger of the month. It was very tasty. The staff was very quick and efficient and getting you in and out.

    Fried bologna

Ordered the fried bologna sandwich and it was....fine. Biting into the bun felt like biting into styrofoam. The pimento cheese was the highlight but even that, was just kinda bleh. Little bit of a long wait at 20 minutes for that and burger. Located in Ponce City Market so of course there's a fun ambiance.

    Cheeseburger & onion rings

I tried this for the first time the other day and waited about 10 min to order in the to go line. I got the original H&F burger and onion rings. It was almost $30 without a tip. The burger was good and I added lettuce- no extra charge. The onion rings were massive and I liked the sauce it came with. However, they were cold. Way too overpriced. Prob wouldn't come back.

Just wanted to try the burger which was good. Service was great. Next I'll sit and have fries with it

This was my first time coming here! I love Ponce City Market and have came here numerous of times but I have not ate at the food court until today. It was really busy since it was Easter Weekend. But we were able to snag a seat at the bar. The space is small and not many seating. There is a line if you want to order to go. The waiter was prompted and he took our orders. I tried the sandwich of the month: The Texas Rodeo Burger. Angus beef topped with crisp bacon, tobacco onions, sliced jalapeño, aged cheddar, and Aunt Julia's BBQ sauce for all for $17. My friend order "The original" H&F hamburger. You are able to customize it with toppings as well. We shared a basket of fries. Served with bbq sauce on the side. I was pretty full and throughly enjoyed. My friend did not want pickles. So I asked to put them on the side. The pickles were sweet and crunch. I will rate my burger a 5/5! Please note They do not accept cash.

Inside Ponce City market has an absolutely amazing burger spot. The burger was spot on and hit all the notes. If you're walking on the first floor of putz City market, if you go all the way to the end, you actually can't miss it. Even though it's not a big shop, it does stand out a little. It's not a typical restaurant setting, it's basically one long curvy bar top. But it works because a lot of times people are just in and out they don't want to have a full dinner setting because they're just passing through. I actually had not tried to burger before so I had to go ahead and go with what they are known for and I was not disappointed. I got the The original H&F cheeseburger (with Bacon) and fries And man it was a hell of a good burger. The fries came out cooked fried to perfection. The burger bun was soft, the bacon was everywhere, this was a top-tier burger to me. I kind of want to try another one just to make sure they can capture the magic again but this was really good. When I go back here, absolutely. If you're going to City market you will have to pay the park, but it's not that bad because the burger was so damn good.

This is a fun little place located in Ponce City Marketplace. The service was really fast and our order was taken immediately. The food was out in under 10 minutes and the burgers were smash burgers. Very tasty and delicious. The FF were also good, homemade hand cut. The ketchup was homemade as well. Overall a very good place to eat.

    Great burger at H&F!

Who doesn't love a good burger? H&F are serving up some of the best smash burgers in the Atlanta area. I like this spot in PCM, all bar/counter seating. There's plenty of seats but it does get pretty crowded at times due to the popularity of this burger. Burger and fries with a Coke will run you about $15. Definitely a go to spot for locals!

He specifically wanted to take advantage of their Monday prime rib special, which is just $20. I'm not much of a prime rib person, but I decided to tag along--and I'm really glad I did. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. It wasn't overly loud or crowded, and the décor created a relaxed, comfortable vibe that made for a great dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. My friend ordered the prime rib and requested it Pittsburgh-style seared. I ordered the steak burger cooked medium-well. Unfortunately, my burger came out a little more well-done than I prefer, so it wasn't as juicy as I had hoped. My friend also felt his prime rib was a bit more undercooked than expected. Neither dish was bad, but they both missed the mark just enough that I'd give the food a 3 out of 5. One thing that absolutely deserves a shoutout was the tomato jelly that came with my burger. It was incredible! It tasted like the perfect blend of ketchup and jelly--slightly sweet but not overly sweet, with just the right balance of flavor. I ended up dipping my fries in it, and it was so good that I'd gladly order it again. It was easily one of the most memorable parts of the meal. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Our server, Sam, was outstanding. He was personable, attentive, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. Great service can completely change a dining experience, and Sam did exactly that. Overall, while the food had room for improvement, the atmosphere and exceptional customer service more than made up for it. I'd definitely return to Highland Tap, and thanks to Sam's excellent hospitality, I'm giving them a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

We came here for a birthday dinner celebration and we met with great customer service and a lovely atmosphere. There was a jazz trio performing, and the ambience of the restaurant was great. We were seated in an area that had a lot of traffic so some of us were bumped multiple times by servers, food going over our heads, people swinging their jackets, it just seemed as if the tables were a bit too close together. The food. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, the fried green tomatoes, and the pork belly. All of these were delicious, though we did feel like the tomatoes could've been a little crispy. The Carolina gold sauce on the pork belly was a nice tangy combination with the protein, and the shrimp had a surprisingly good sauce. The issue that we fell into with two urban licks were the mains ... We felt that the rotisserie chicken was a bit dry, and flavor was confusing as it was presenting as tandoori, but had an underlying flavor we just couldn't get into. The market fish on the menu for the day was a red snapper, and it didn't come with any sides, but it seemed like the fish was simply fried in the oil and it didn't have any seasoning or underlying flavor which we were disappointed in. The Hawaiian wahoo fish was a bit overcooked, and the "jerk" short ribs leaned more habanero salsa in the taste. The coconut rice and peas that went along with it was also dry, without coconut taste, and missed the mark for us. We are Caribbean and this was a disappointment to experience. The description on the page oversold it just a bit. We were able to call the manager, and they removed the chicken dish from our bill and took half of the final price of the short rib from our bill as well, and that was appreciated! Looking around the restaurant, it seemed like everyone was enjoying their meal, though we could never know what conversations were being had at those tables, and it just seems like this restaurant was not for us personally! Great service, but due to the food, we don't plan to return

The pizza tasted very fresh with all of the veggies and there was a sweetness about it that complemented it very well. I'm not sure if it was the tomatoes that were sweet, but I did like the flavor.
