The prices are also reasonable which will have me keep coming back. I typically order delivery but decided to go and sit inside to eat at Ponce. I decided to try something new (the patty melt). It was even better fresh: oozing with cheese and flavor. The fries were so salty and delicious. The service was also great and quick. I had a very disappointing experience at H&F Burger in Old Fourth Ward. While waiting for my order, I watched a waitress take a French fry from a customer's plate at the pickup window, bite half of it, and then feed the other half to another waitress while they were both looking at pictures on a phone. That alone raised serious concerns about food handling and professionalism. The atmosphere behind the counter felt chaotic. Waitresses were loudly screaming out customer names, cups were being dropped on the floor, and the overall environment seemed disorganized. At one point, a customer asked a waitress a simple question, and she responded that she didn't know and told the customer to ask another waiter instead of taking ownership and helping. On top of that, the pricing was excessive for what was delivered. Two burgers, two fries (which were not included and cost extra), and two beers came out to about $90 with tip. I went with the classic cheeseburger, which comes with double patty, plenty of delicious pickles and the onions...and the thin cut onions were stand out! The burger was super tender! Got my order about 10 minutes later; it comes stapled closed like a delivery order (???) so something told me to check my food. Inside Ponce City market has an absolutely amazing burger spot. The burger was spot on and hit all the notes. If you're walking on the first floor of putz City market, if you go all the way to the end, you actually can't miss it. Even though it's not a big shop, it does stand out a little. It's not a typical restaurant setting, it's basically one long curvy bar top. But it works because a lot of times people are just in and out they don't want to have a full dinner setting because they're just passing through. I actually had not tried to burger before so I had to go ahead and go with what they are known for and I was not disappointed. I got the The original H&F cheeseburger (with Bacon) and fries And man it was a hell of a good burger. The fries came out cooked fried to perfection. Who doesn't love a good burger? H&F are serving up some of the best smash burgers in the Atlanta area. I like this spot in PCM, all bar/counter seating. This place is located in Ponce City Market. We stopped by here while we were waiting for the Skyline Park to open. There are several places to eat at PCM, but we wanted a burger or something traditional, so that landed us here. The service was just okay.... but hear me out. Our server wasn't feeling his best, and he indeed disclosed that to us. I am unsure what was going on with him, but I could appreciate his honesty and transparency. I ordered my food to go and the person working the register didn't provide great service. She had really low energy and was killing my vibe.
