    Scary looking

H&M has it all: pants, shoes, scary looking mannequins... you name it. Its really a one stop shop that is comfortable to browse. I'm not sure why I found the mannequins to look so creepy. I suppose I never saw one made out of fabric before. It almost looks like human with a nylon stocking over his head - you know the type you see in bank robberies?! I'm not sure why these things greet you at the door? Perhaps to scare away children or other potential patrons?! This place has it all... shoes, pants, shirts... you name it. Upon my close inspection of merchandise the problem is that none of it appeared to be particularly great. I touched a pair of socks hanging on the wall and they felt unpleasant to the touch. Picked up a pair of jeans and they seemed flimsy and too thin. Shoes?! More of the same. The store was very comfortable. People working there helpful and things weren't so neatly placed that it made things uncomfortable. Wasn't messy or disorganized either. Very comfortable atmosphere - well as soon as you get passed the creepy mannequins. These types of stores (Express, H+M, Uniqulo) have shut down the big department stores it seems. Just down the hall JCPenny is currently having an out of business sale and I think its because these smaller trendy clothes shopping places did a better job with keeping up with consumer demands and trends. My favorite of these types of stores is Uniqlo. I like a few different items they have there. They are the best at making simple stuff well.

Nowadays, I go to this place for the basic. Finally, Newpark Mall has gotten a great stores for the better. There is a lot of different things to chose from H&M including: Bikini's,hats, socks, belts, some shoes, women and men's wear. They also have outer wear. This store is the most cleanest, and nearest I've ever been too. It's one of the most organized H&M I have ever visited. Their selection is good. Always good pick, great clothing and cool design. The customers service are great. Especially the Store manager: his name's Nate or Natie (forgive me if I misspelled your name ) he is very helpfully and has extremely pleasant experience helped my choices. I've always received exceptional his service.

I love this place. It's two stories and was a part of the beginning of the Westfield makeover for this mall. There's always a huge selection and they sizes are well stocked. What I don't like is that the wait to check out can be pretty bad, especially on the weekends. It makes me miss having weekdays off, but what can you do? You can go downstairs and pay in the men's section! I pretty much do this for any H&M that I shop at. I'm not going to wait an hour in line after I already spent about an hour scouring the racks for clothes. It's worth it to look though- the sales are always great. So never buy anything full price because it'll probably be at least 30% off in two weeks. It kills me when that happens, so being patient really pays off if you shop here regularly. There's not much else to be said about this place. Either you love it or you don't. There's always the best accessories that make great gifts. I love gifting my friends the cute mini pouches for odds and ends in their handbags. The keychains make great gifts too. Happy shopping! May you find the best deals!

Arrived at 10am at H&M in NewPark Mall (it says online and at the store that they open at 10am). It's 10:15am and they are still not open. Very inconvenient!

I attempted to return an item that was sold to me without a tag at the time of purchase. Despite…read morethe item being in its original, unworn, and unwashed condition, the store manager refused the return under "sole discretion," claiming the item was worn simply because the tag was missing. When I reached out to customer relations, I was told that corporations cannot overrule a store manager's discretion regarding "worn" returns, and that without a tag, it is automatically considered worn. This creates an impossible situation for the customer: I am being penalized for the store's initial failure to provide a tag on a brand-new item. As a business owner myself, I value the "90-day satisfaction guarantee" that Men's Wearhouse markets so heavily. However, this experience suggests that the guarantee is subject to arbitrary store-level decisions that contradict the actual condition of the merchandise.. Avoid this store.

HIGH SCHOOL REUNION ATTIRE…read more Last Saturday night was my high school reunion. I don't want to reveal my age, but on my two previous high school reunions I wore a suit. When I was younger I wanted to look older. Now as I am older I want to look younger. I came here about three weeks ago on a Monday. I envisioned what to wear for my high school reunion. Several years ago I bought a navy Calvin Klein blazer from this Men's Wearhouse location. When I entered the store I told one of the sales associates about my high school reunion and what I wanted to wear. I was thinking to match the blazer with a button shirt and tie. I also told him I was looking for a sweater to wear over the shirt and tie. He then asked me if I was open to something more casual. I responded yes. He showed me a polo shirt, which I was intrigued. However the biggest mistake I made that day was I didn't wear my navy Calvin Klein blazer. I asked if he was going to be here the next day. He said no but one of the sales associates will be. The following day I wore my navy Calvin Klein blazer. I talked to another sales associate and mentioned to him what I planned to wear. I still had this vision of wearing something casual with a tie. However the sales associate said wearing a tie would be formal. The day before the other sales associate said the same thing. I'm glad that I came to the Men's Wearhouse to seek opinions. When I decided to go casual for my high school reunion the sales associate looked at my navy Calvin Klein blazer and showed me a performance shirt and dark blue jeans. He also recommended a black cardigan sweater, which I had envisioned to wear with a tie. He thought the performance shirt would match well with the cardigan sweater. I first wore the performance shirt alone with the blazer for a look. Then I wore the cardigan sweater alone with the blazer for another look. However when I wore both the performance shirt and cardigan sweater with the blazer the attire looked really well together. For the jeans I had it shortened at the Men's Wearhouse. For my high school reunion I would rather pay more from the Men's Wearhouse than pay less somewhere else and end up not liking the shortening of my jeans. During my high school reunion my attire consisted of navy Calvin Kein blazer, Kenneth Cole performance shirt, Kenneth Cole cardigan sweater, and Joseph Abboud navy jean was casual and class. In the past I would go to the Men's Wearhouse to buy formal attire for interviews and weddings, but after my high school reunion I knew I can go there to buy something casual with style.

I saw some really cute Disney sleep shorts and for only $5 I couldn't say no but I didn't have enough for their default free shipping so I hoped that an Old Navy nearby would have it so I could just pick up. Thank goodness Old Navy at Pacific Commons had it. L O C A T I O N Old Navy is located west of 880. In the area right next to the freeway. It's near Sephora and Coldstone. There is a lot of parking in this shopping area so it's not hard to find parking. They also have designated 5-10 minute pick up only spots which I utilized when I came in. I N S I D E It does smell funky in here. Not sure what it is but it's funky. I walked in and went directly to the line for the registers as I didn't know how else to pick up an order. It said there's a designated spot. I saw a sign but not really a place to line up. S E R V I C E I did wait a bit in line as there wasn't many folks shopping the day I stopped by. It was a weekday. When I finally got to a register, I pulled up the order bar code from the email I received and they found my order and I went out right away. I did have to come back to return my order and again, I went on a weekday and although 3 registers were open, they were all busy with complicated transactions or returns. After I finally get up there to do my return, I didn't have a bar code but they were able to find my order on my account and easily did my return. That part didn't take too long. O V E R A L L Old Navy is a place I used to shop a lot as a teenager due to the deals. I find myself not gravitating to it as often as other stores but when I see a deal and cute items, I will shop here. It was easy to order online and do a store pick up. Unfortuantely wait times can vary and can cause an easy 5 minute stop to become 15-20 minutes. Again not too bad but wish it could be faster. I will definitely utilize this store in the future due to the proximity and the easy parking, but unlikely to often shop here.

She was extremely polite and patient. She also put in extra effort to call up another store . She also looked into the stock in the current store and found another trouser with the same size , but a different color. Not only this, she maintained her composure while she was training a new customer associate. Kudos and best wishes to this young lady !

Two stars: one for the cute stuff and the fact that I know how to get here…read more This location seems to be getting worse and worse though every time I come here and is slowly becoming my least favorite location. I don't know why I still come here. Last time I bought something, went to self checkout, and found out the security alarm was still on when I got home, even after I thought someone removed everything. This wasn't the first time it happened at this location. To avoid coming here again, that time I went to a different location to have the alarm taken off and had no issue. I really don't see the point of self checkout at this location as others said. It provides no benefit here and is not that much faster, as you still have to go to another counter to get alarms, security tags and whatever the hell else removed. Plus they want proof of receipt/checking your items here. Today, I figured I'll give it another chance, but when I tried to pay with the cashier to try and avoid any mishaps, the lady says they don't have any bags. I was thinking like what the hell? You're a store, how can you not have bags? I told her I didn't want the item any longer and walked out. This was the last and final straw. Too bad, I'll have to stick with other locations. This location doesn't seem to care about helping customers or doing their job properly.

0 stars: Rude & disrespectful employees…read more I had a really disappointing experience here due to poor customer service. The employees lacked basic manners--no "excuse me," no acknowledgment, nothing. In the women's shoe section, one employee was aggressively sorting shoes, making the environment feel uncomfortable. What really bothered me was another employee who, instead of politely asking to pass, forcefully pushed my cart against me while I was standing in the aisle still all the way towards the end of the aisle. There was this couple who witnessed what happened. It felt intentional and very disrespectful. She was very aggressive and rude towards me for no reason. Overall, the staff came across as rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend coming here based on this experience.

I'm reviewing this location from the perspective of selling items…read more I've sold clothing, books, and toys here on three separate occasions. They have high standards for the clothing they accept---no stains or noticeable wash wear, which I actually appreciate because it keeps the quality of their inventory high. If your items are in excellent condition, they're not overly picky about brands, sizes, or seasons. Each time I've brought items in, they've accepted close to 80% of what I brought. I only bring clothing that's in like-new condition, which helps make the process easier for everyone. The reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the wait time for them to review and buy clothing. Their estimated times are often very inaccurate sometimes by hours. If I lived nearby, it wouldn't be a big deal, but I live almost an hour away, so it can turn into an all-day trip just to sell one bin of clothing. The female manager (I think, she's always there) is wonderful. She is friendly, welcoming, and always a pleasure to work with. Some of the younger employees, however, could be more welcoming and improve their customer interactions. Overall, I've had positive experiences selling here and will continue to come back, but I do wish the turnaround times were more accurate.
