These guys are the real deal! Recently I was driving to Idaho from southern Arizona with the family and about 100 miles south of Vegas (at night) began having severe car problems. After limping to a safe place, the search for a helpful mechanic was my top priority. However, being from out of town, I wasn't totally sure where to look. As my luck would have it, I was recommended to look up H-Tech Auto and to ask for Pete. During my brief phone call with Pete I was treated respectfully and already felt like they were invested in me and my car problem(s) as he 'ordered' me to get it to the shop asap. Realizing I was from out of town, Bernardo and Pete both understood my urgency to get back on the road and home and assured me they would do their absolute best to make that happen. Sadly, the car wasn't going to be a simple fix. One of the cylinders had totally burned up and new or rebuilt head was in order. Ultimately, Bernardo and Pete made some very considerate adjustments that allowed them to not only completely fix and repair the bad cylinder/head but also get me out of town asap. All along the way, Bernardo and Pete were transparent about everything and great communicators. It's been almost 3 weeks since this took place and the car is running like a top. The way I see it, I was the perfect candidate to take advantage of, and I feared that happening. However, the honesty and work ethic simply pours out of their shop doors and don't have the words to thank Bernardo and Pete enough. Thank you both so much! Look no further, if you own a Japanese manufactured vehicle in Las Vegas, this is the place. The head technician Pete, worked at one of the Honda dealerships for 20+ years as a lead tech, and did the best thing someone with his expertise could've possibly done for customers, start his own shop. My check engine light came on one day, and I needed a diagnostic done. I called around to three different shops pricing diagnostics, before finding Honda Tech through Yelp. The cheapest quote I received was $95, but before settling I gave Honda Tech a call and was told they'd do a diagnostic for FREE, and if their standard diagnostic couldn't deduce the problem, then we'd go from there. Well there standard diagnostic did solve the problem, and it turns out it was a twenty dollar fix, a new gas cap. The rest as they say is history. This shop is trustworthy, reasonably priced, organized, greatly paced, very customer friendly, dependable, knowledgeable, etc. I've had an oil change done here, a transmission fluid flush, a/c repair, brake rotor install, and biggest of all water pump and timing belt replacement, all within the parameters I previously mentioned above. I like the fact that after every service they give you a vehicle report. I'm always a bit skeptical of Auto-Repair garages, as I prefer to do my own work whenever possible, but I'm here to add to chorus of positive reviews. I brought my *vintage* Honda Accord to H-Tech for a 100k mi service (Timing Belt package), and I can report back now on 7/9/2021 that the H-Tech team provided HIGH-LEVEL service for a fair price. Here are the relevant details: I dropped my *vintage* Accord off at 6:30am (and they were there(!)). That afternoon they called to inform me that they had changed the oil because they found a hairline fracture in my manifold (the intake hose that connects the air filter to the engine), and that they were replacing the part. So I was skeptical, but they showed me ALL PARTS REPLACED, did NOT charge for labor for the manifold hose, OR the oil change, AND deducted a percentage overall because I showed up early and the manifold replacement part was delayed. So, bottom line: They performed a Timing Belt package (full kit including Water Pump and all belts and pulleys/tensioners) for $850 and did not charge for a full oil & filter change or for the manifold part and labor. Our Lexus needed the 60k maintenance done and the $750 quote from the dealer almost gave me a heart attack. I inquired what was involved in the 60k service. I was told a oil change, rotate the tires, change oil, air and cabin and oil filters AND that they check everything else. After I got my blood pressure back to normal. I did a search for top rated repair shop in Las Vegas and I saw the 133 5 star reviews for H Tech and noticed that they only work on Japanese vehicles. I was quoted $91 and paid $91 for the same amount of service & parts. Reilly suggested we get the rear brakes, which we knew was needed so we made an appointment and we were quoted $211 and we paid $211. The turning of the rotors was included. No upsells and no addons He also suggested new tires and I was shocked to learn they don't sell tires. Their normal routine maintenance services prices are posted at the cash register. H Tech staff are very friendly, professional and courteous. You will be hard pressed to find a more honest and ethical repair shop in Las Vegas. read more

I have been to this auto repair shop only a couple of times. There never was a bad service. The owner/mechanic always told me the truth about the vehicle and what is absolutely needed to be done and what is optional. Today, I came for an oil change. My car was unfortunately rear ended parked at lunch time. When the mechanic saw it he said. "Let me see what can be done". It only took him a few minutes to put the right side of my bumper back to the way it was. He said that it would cost me more to get it repaired but it should be good for now. I was actually going to get an estimate for the repair job after the oil change but I cancelled the appointment after this was fixed for no fee. I just paid for my oil change. read more

Yesterday, my daughter and I brought her car in. We were filled with anxiety as we are just starting our vacation and the rattling under her car was getting worse and worse. Seriously Pete is the best! He explained everything that needed to be done. Pete took good care of my car just in time for the smog, && it passed thanks to him . This needle in the haystack just gave me a great price on an A/C compressor job. They worked the market to find me a good deal on the new compressor, got the job done in a timely manner, and even topped it off with a free carwash. Their labor estimate is a little higher than other shops, but I would call that realism, considering that any other shop you go to gives you their time estimate and it ends up taking twice as long as they estimated. I was passing through Vegas when my AC stopped working. Searched Yelp and found H-Tech. Pete was very accomodating and understood my situation. We couldn't locate parts for my older 2002 Sequoia on short notice. He showed me where the piping had burst. After spending time diagnosing the problem but unable to repair it in a timely manner he would not accept my payment. I wish he was located near my home in CA.
