I gave one star because they responded quickly and were able to schedule us promptly for an inspection at no charge. I gave another star because Gabe was friendly, professional, and did a thorough inspection using cameras to show us exactly what was happening in our pipes. Unfortunately, the experience changed when additional personnel became involved. The conversation quickly felt more like a high-pressure sales presentation than a service call. We were quoted nearly $50,000 for a complete home replumb, which was a major shock. What was most frustrating was that no temporary solution was offered to get our plumbing functioning again to allow us time to look at our finances and plan for such a high dollar long-term repair option. After sharing the quote with friends, we were referred to another local plumber. He came out the very next day, cleared the roots, fixed the shower, identified the exact location of the damaged pipes, and scheduled the necessary repairs for the following weeks. The cost was a fraction of what we were quoted by Drain Time, including permits, materials, and labor. While I appreciated the responsiveness and professionalism during the initial inspection, I ultimately felt that the proposed solution was excessive for our immediate needs to help us get back up and running.

It was the equivalent of a small vial pool chemical test. Which is fine. But it's a drop of this. A drop of that. It did not seem like the most scientific water evaluation. All that said, Steve was friendly, seemed honest enough and his pricing was moderately more competitive. We were not interested in a system that requires salt. This company provides a solution that's straight forward, low / no maintenance (it flushes itself) and will last a good amount of time hopefully. We moved forward with Steve. His son Dalton did the installation a week later. All went well with the installation. So far we have not used the system a great deal but we are encouraged by what we have noticed so far. Based on the up front experiences and process so far we would recommend this company to others for consideration. All said

6 month update: all is going smoothly with water softener!…read more Original review: We wanted to thank Trevor for his amazing help in installing an Eco Twin 2.0 in our home. Our water is night and day better than it was before. I can drink from the tap with no mineral taste. I can wash my hands without a gallon of soap. I can rest easy knowing my home's plumbing is better protected. The price of the full install was very reasonable and Trevor made scheduling easy. From start to finish Trevor was super helpful and easy to work with. He made an initial consult visit to make sure he knew the house layout and all the materials he would need for the install, and then came out a couple of weeks later to install the unit. One thing I liked is that he is also a licensed electrician, and was able to pull wire directly for the unit and he even installed a new, unused outdoor outlet near the unit solely for our convenience and use. This shows an attention to detail and quality that I really appreciated. The install went smoothly and Trevor gave us a nearly one hour long in-person training on all the things we need to know about owning the water softener. He allowed us to record the video which gave us a ton of peace of mind. Within the same day our water was vastly improved. We also received a followup call from Brenda, one of the owners, and she was very helpful and friendly. We are very grateful to Trevor for his time and help and are loving our new system!!!
