I requested a Yelp service request and Trenchless was one of the businesses that contacted me with an automatic response. I have used them in the past so I felt they were a quality company. After talking to Trenchless; I received an email confirmation for an appointment on the same day (Saturday) which was within a few hours. I later received another email of a name (Joseph Johnson) and picture of the technician to arrive. I did receive a call asking if the tech could arrive earlier since he most likely finished his previous appointment and I accepted. Joseph arrived and we discussed the problem. I previously tried to resolve the sewer clog but was unsuccessful. I already had pulled the toilet so it was easy for him to start his rooter/snake machine and he was able to unclog the sewer line easily within an hour or less. Joseph was very nice and professional and cares about his customers and the service he provides. We chatted briefly and thanked him for the great work. I did ask him if they could camera the line so I can find the cleanout right in the front of the house (not near sidewalk) and he scheduled someone to come over on Monday. While buying our new home, our agent arranged for The Trenchless Co. to inspect the sewer line and clear a blockage that had been found by a previous company. We were told that for just over $1,000 they would jet the line, clear the blockage, and fully clean out the system. This was a challenging job, as two other companies had been unable to even locate the sewer clean-out. The technician from The Trenchless Co. did find it and performed the work professionally--he was knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful throughout the visit. However, after receiving the inspection results and jetting report, we were advised to pay an additional $500 for "more jetting" to clean the remainder of the line. This recommendation came after being told the original $1,000 service would clear and clean the line completely. Being asked for another $500 to finish work we believed was already included felt unreasonable and came across as an unnecessary upsell. The clean-out had already been located and the additional work would have required minimal extra effort, making the added charge seem more like a money grab than a genuine recommendation. Update: Max, the owner of The Trenchless Co., reached out personally and went above and beyond to make things right. He is sending a technician back out to complete the remaining work at no additional cost. Max was extremely professional and transparent, explaining that the crew had gone beyond the original scope of the call but agreeing that the job should have been fully completed--or at the very least, I should have been informed and given options before the technician left. His willingness to take responsibility and ensure the job is done correctly truly stands out. Because of Max's efforts, I'm now a loyal customer and a big supporter of The Trenchless Co. My water main burst. After trying to get five different plumbers to fix it through my home warranty, I called Trenchless to see what they could do and when. They offered to send someone the next day to assess it, but after I explained that I am without water, they rearranged the schedule to get someone out that day. Nicolis came out, assessed the leak recommended rerouting the main line to help in the future, but also realized that there was an immediate need to get the water back on. He wrote up the quote to get it fixed. It was a little pricey, but was able to get someone out first thing in the morning. That beat my home warranty offer of a week from now. I guess it was bound to happen. Yet another sewer related issue on an older house that we bought just 4 years ago. We had some blockage, and the line had to be cleared. As it turns out, the problem was bigger than that and the sewer line had to fixed ASAP. The 1st company that I had out was new to me, and for the most part, identified the issue correctly after clearing the blockage. However, the upsell was just ridiculous, and slammed me with a crazy estimate of up to 25K. Not sure if I had the word "sucker" stamped on my forehead. As you can imagine, I didn't go with them and had to basically forced them out of the house before incurring more charges from just that initial visit. After getting more estimates from two more plumbing outfits, I settled on Trenchless. Kudos to our technician Eric M-L. He was prompt, courteous and professional from the start. He was essentially the project manager that managed the entire project from the initial assessment, digging, bursting, inspection and hydrojetting. Eric was a true professional true and true. I would give a 5-star just for Eric. In retrospect, Trenchless was a legit company from the beginning when Eric didn't charge me for the initial inspection knowing that I've got a must-fix issue. The whole experience had no hiccups. Trenchless' process was simple, and meticulous. Their online system tracked the whole project and included an online payment system. As an IT professional, I would know. So, some of you may wonder why I gave them a "4." It's actually pretty simple. The cost of the whole thing was just North of 10K, and I supposedly got a discount. I, personally, feel that's way too high just for 4 days of work. Their hourly rate is almost comparable to a Senior Accenture consultant's rate. I am just a regular working guy. Max, I hope you're reading this. I understand that you're also the owner of Ace Plumbing. I'm hoping with the additional coverage and resources, you're able to lower the cost. Over the weekend, I had reached out to multiple companies for a thermal coupler repair on my hot water heater. Trenchless was the first one to get back to me with an appointment for today, and they sent Marcel. He was awesome! He immediately came in to inspect the water heater, gave me an estimate on the spot, and went to pick up a part to repair it same day. I had a toilet backup on a Sunday morning, so I call for service. I am told it will be Monday morning before they can get here. I scheduled the appointment and within 30 minutes I got a call from the office who says they can't come fix the problem Sunday afternoon. Because of my stupid thirsty tree, I've had roots in my sewer for years and gave used their $99 rooting services several times to temporarily clear out my sewers for over 3 years. They are great and get it done fast. I decided to finally bite the bullet and do a sewer replacement. Great customer service and Their prices were very reasonable compared others and they offered a several Trenchless options with 0% financing that the competitors didn't. We went with a sewer replacement where a new slightly smaller pipe with some kind of breaker tool which is snaked through the old one. They still needed to dig around the sewer vents near the house and where it ended in the city side but not my entire front lawn so that was good. Of course the job was loud but they competed it fairly quickly with a few days. My sewer was about 75feet long and my cost was about 10k in may of 2022. Came with lifetime warranty that is transferable to new homeowners and 5 years warranty on the connectors. I told them about my issue with the kitchen sink and laundry having backups and they informed me it was from buildup of toilet paper backing up for so many years. They included the pressure wash with rest of the work. We were a bit peeved when the water flowed back all over the garage and sink but they said it was normal and that it would subside. It was smelly and messy but it's been a two years now and no back ups in the sink, laundry or toilet. I really should have done this sooner and would have saved a bunch of money. It's nice feeling confident knowing your toilet isn't going to back up when hosting guests. read more

Since Trenchless replaced our sewer line five years ago, we called them when our toilet backed up. Joseph came at 7 PM and snaked our only toilet. Success and relief!! Joseph was pleasant and easy to work with. He suggested we get a new toilet since ours was so old and the problem might reside with the toilet itself. He also suggested we have someone from Trenchless come and look at our sewer line with the camera to be sure there was no problem there. A day later, Nicolis Claypool arrived to check the line with a camera and showed us the results. We mentioned we wanted to install a new toilet and he said when we have the new toilet to give Trenchless a call and ask for him. He installed the new toilet and took away the old one for the price quoted. Nicolis is a really personable and fast plumber. He is polite and conscientious. Excellent customer service! If you get Lucy when you call you're guaranteed top notch service. She knows her stuff and outstanding phone skills! I had them add a clean out to my home. Matt came out I actually need new sewer pipes as mine are cast iron.. but Matt was very personable and I explained that I didn't have the money now for new pipes, so he suggested that I add a clean out in my driveway since the house never had one, and that way they would have easy access if a clog was to occur. The price very very affordable. I just bought the home and I wasn't aware of how old the sewer pipes were... The team they sent out (Apolonio/Freilyn) were also fabulous, friendly, and answered all my paranoid questions. They took care of the first part of the dig and remove around a 3x3ish square, and cut the pipe and put in the new pipe for the clean out, and filled the hole with dirt. There was rain in the forecast, so a different team (Rick/Shawn) came back and filled the hole with the concrete and they also answered all my new home owner questions. Both teams were very knowledgeable and personable. From a new homeowner who had called several companies regarding my sewer pipes this was the most super stupendous all around best company I have encountered. I have also worked over 30 years in customer service, and I know most people are quick on the negative, so I wanted to give a really good positive about my whole experience.
