I live in an older home (1950s-1960s) so clogged pipes are a problem and they've always done a great job on them. I also appreciated that they've made good suggestions when I've mentioned the cost of upgrading my plumbing and offered me options that made the cost more within reach. For the last call, a regular cleaning could have caused damage to the sewer line which was breaking and was full of roots, so they water-flushed the blockage instead to get the water moving and I realized, it was time to replace the sewer line before it was too late. I received a discount as a repeat customer. The whole process took less than two days. Mike and Anatoliy came out to do the work. They covered the ground with tarps to minimize cleanup later, digging was a few feet deep but confined to the location of the line, narrow to the point that they saved a favorite rose bush that I was supposed to dig out. I appreciated seeing part of the removal process and the explanation of the original sewer material, how it was installed and how that eventually led to the wear. The work on day one didn't take that long and the pipe was installed and the cleanouts were upgraded to current standards. They handled the permit and scheduling for the inspection and it was passed by late morning so that Mike could. complete the work. The whole removal and installation hardly interrupted my water use. Super Bros was not the cheapest, but very competitive with the lowest quote. There were a few reasons we went with Super Bros. First, they got started on my whole house re-pipe the next week. The other company had me waiting for more than a month. The other reason is because Super Bros was super communicative and explained the whole process before it started, asked lots of questions about my preferences, and was incredibly transparent about every details and process. My primary point of contact for this job was Jeremy. He was actually another reason that I went with Super Bros, as I never felt like he was trying to upsell anything or push me into doing something I didn't want or need. He was clear about where there were options and where he has seen challenges from a project like mine in the past. His experience and demeanor were what locked it in for me. After agreeing to use Super Bros, the next week I was met by Mike, who walked through with me as he was point on the project. I work from home so I was around for the entire thing, but I can honestly say that there was barely any disruption to my workday. Yes, the water was off for one of the 3 days of work, but other than that and the expected noise of cutting out metal pipes here and there, the disruption was nearly invisible. I was also greeted by Serge and Denis who were handling different parts of the project. Both incredibly polite and obviously damn good at their jobs. This was NOT some group of minimum wage kids subcontracted to do the work. every one of these guys was an experienced and efficient tradesman from what I could tell (admittedly I'm, not a plumber, but you could tell that they were professionals by the quality of their work, their speed, and some of the challenges my house provided that they were able to find workarounds for). You can probably tell that I'd recommend Super Bros for your next plumbing project, but in case there was any question: you should use Super Bros for your next plumbing project. Highly recommend!

I can not say enough about this company and the work Charles performed. Recently we had him to the house to deal with a problem we were having with the shower faucet. At the onset he describe what he was going to be doing and the degree of difficulty he was facing. At this time he also provided an estimate of the charge. Well he was extremely professional and thorough in his efforts and remained calm through out the day even though he was facing severe challenges. he was extremely helpful in assisting me in picking out a shower head that would meet our needs. As I said the job took longer than I am sure he thought it would take but at no time did he ever drop his positive outlook. At the end of the job when he may have asked for more money for the additional time, he did not. His estimates are as good as gold. I highly recommend this company and Charles. read more

Charles was prompt, courteous and professional. Rather than simply fix a clogged drain, Charles thoroughly inspected the plumbing and found that the connections had been done incorrectly. He took the time to explain exactly why it was done incorrectly and what was needed to remedy the situation. He then put in the extra time to ensure that the sink and garbage disposal were properly plumbed and that the clog was completely taken care of. It turned out that the clog was caused by grease very far down the line. Charles used several different heads on the snake to completely clear the obstruction. His repair estimate was very reasonable. It is refreshing to find a service provider with the commitment for excellence and customer service that is rarely seen these days. Thank you, Charles! Had a sewer type of smell in one of the bathrooms. Reviews and referral from Greenhaven Hardware and others, I called Pocket Plumbing. Sean came out, but the issues had evaporated. Sean would not charge me anything for coming out and said if the problem came back to call him. A few hours later, the smell came back and I called Sean. Sean came the next morning and replaced a seal in the toilet. Sean did an excellent job and the fee was very reasonable. There are businesses who will charge you an arm and a leg, and there are businesses who do excellent work that is reasonable. Without question, Pocket Plumbing cares about taking care of it's customer and being reasonable for their services. Trust me, if you have a plumbing problem, call them! read more

Pocket Plumbing came highly recommended by a friend and now we can second that recommendation. As a structural engineer with a general contractor license, I can say Charles is a pleasure to work with. His motto is "thanks for trusting the little guy" and it fits. We were on a very tight schedule to remodel our bathroom before the kids got back from college for Thanksgiving break. Like most Land Park homes and older homes in general, the plumbing required some custom work and creativity. Charles kept us on schedule and even came back to fix a defective toilet part on Wednesday before Thanksgiving at dinner hour. Who does that? Charles is great but the last time someone came and it was not Charles, well, not so good. He cleared my drains and failed to tighten up the piping under the sink. After hand tightening it, it worked at first and then the whole P-trap assembly started leaking after a couple of days. Apparently he used plumbers putty on all the fittings and either he did not know what he was doing or he didn't care. read more

Charles changed our leaking bathtub faucet. He also bought faucets which are hard to find as I prefer gold. At the same time, we had him replace the sink faucet, too. We feel like we have a new bathroom with all the beautiful fixtures. The parts were expensive but I thought his fee was reasonable. Less than I expected. read more

This is the rare instance where the star-rating depends on my viewpoint…read more First, I want to acknowledge that Ace Plumbing was one of the few companies that I contacted that was willing to take on the job. I had a landscape pipe that was no longer draining our water feature. Most companies will not touch landscape piping because the pipe that is often used may be easily damaged by a power-driven drain auger. Second, the customer service representative that I reached by telephone was both courteous and professional. She scheduled a same-day appointment with a 2-hour window and she told me the plumber would contact me when he was on the way--which he did. Josh arrived with an assistant. When I explained the problem and showed him the two blocked water feature drains, he told me that assuming he could open the drain the cost would be $300. And that is all he told me. I agreed to the price even though it seemed high. I had already rented an electric augur from Home Depot and I had failed to clear the pipe so I didn't have many options. Josh got right to work. Between his electric drain augur and a high-pressure water-powered drain cleaner, Josh succeeded in opening the main landscape line--sort of. But he was unable to clear the water feature pipes. However, by using pressurized water, he discovered what appeared to be a broken line as the water bubbled up under a hydrangea. So the repair of the pipe was on me. What about the other water feature drain? Josh could not clear that pipe or determine if there was a leak. He admitted that he did not know what the problem was partly because he did not know (and neither did I) how the drain system had been laid out. Josh offered me a 10% discount for failing to clear the one pipe. However, shortly after Josh left, I noticed that when I put a hose in the main landscape line, the water backed up. The line had not been fully cleared. I immediately called the office in the hope of contacting Josh before he got too far down the road. Again, the office person was extremely professional. She put me on a brief hold and came back on the line to tell me that Josh would be calling me soon. In less than a minute, my phone was ringing. Josh insisted that the main line had been cleared, but that I could not really expect the water to run out as quickly as it might have done when the pipe was first installed. And here is where ACE Plumbing drops two stars. Josh *then* informed me that ACE Plumbing does not guarantee any work done on drain lines. He did not inform me of this fact before the job, but only after I called to express my concern. He told me he could return the next day to again work on the line, but that he would have to charge me. I was not inclined to add to an almost $300 price tag for work that ACE Plumbing would not stand behind. Nevertheless, Josh had showed me how it was done. So I purchased the Drain King and cleared the main line myself. I dug up the broken pipe only to find that the pipe was not broken. The pipe terminated in the dirt rather than in a French drain. I dug up the other pipe and discovered the same problem. So despite the cost and the after-the-fact claim that ACE Plumbing does not guarantee any work done on a drain pipe, I have added back a star because Josh did show me the way to resolve the problem even if he never intended to do so.

During set-up they notified their might be a power issue related to the system but after discussion with the owner, they determined that the system would be adequately powered. Overall it was a great experience and I believe the system the set-up was a great value. Looking to get lower bills in the summer when the heat cranks up! Only issue that I did not notice till later is that they actually had changed out to from a stealth to a trident but they had upped the version. Initially I was surprised by this but since it was a larger system and it was still able to be powered I did not have any issues.

Alfonso had a hose in his truck and fixed the leak for no charge! In late June of this year I had to get my mobile home plumbing totally replaced and also needed a new water heater. This company was great and sent out Alfonso and his crew to do the work. As I noted in my earlier review, the guys were all wonderful and did a beautiful job! Kudos to Alfonso for his kindness and excellent work ethic! I highly recommend this company and their excellent employees!

He was thorough and he took the time to get into the details. He fixed all our issues and let us know what kind of preventative work we may need later on but he was never pushy about it. He just wanted to give us all the info. I really appreciate the work he did. Everything is getting so expensive nowadays and you might be surprised at how much everything cost but Alfonso and Premier made it worth the money.
