My "bad" habit is craving the Habit lol It's a bad habit because it's not particularly healthy food. However, it is delicious! The burgers are some of the best around. I love the food taste and quality. Service is typically good here. I've never had an issue. Ambiance is quiet and not too busy- at least when I went it wasn't. Food was so good I forgot to take a picture but finally made it in to our new Lake Elsinore location. Food was made fresh, green beans were crispy, sweet potato fries had a good crisp to them & the teriyaki chicken sandwich was deliciously dripping with cheese! I was impressed with how well kept up the store was and how clean it was inside! The manager Alma took my order and was very knowledgeable about everything. read more

Walked in and helped ourselves to the kiosk. Tables and floor were clean. Outside seating was also neat and clean. The only thing I would complain about is how slow the service is. It took 15 minutes to receive my order, not very busy inside so I'm not sure what's was going. Food tasted great, not sure if I would come back to this location. Staff was completely and utterly rude. We spent nearly $40 for our food. Half the salad was the cores of the lettuce couldn't eat and then on top of it all there was a bug in my food. So unclean and unprofessional. We went back and told them and they gave a refund of $11 out of a $40 order and laughed at me. The moment I asked for a manager they offered a refund. One of my top favorite restaurants so I was super excited to see this newly opened location in the shopping center we were running errands in. Did a mobile order, absolutely love the convenience of this. Ordered my go to tempura green beans (it looked unappetizing and tasted of straight up old oil), fries and the new top sirloin sandwich which was so salty, my tongue was burning and it was all around just underwhelming for $13. The order was ready quick, when I walked in, all your employees had their backs to the door and it took a couple minutes for the girl at the front to turn around and even acknowledge me. Don't know if it's just me or just these corporate place, once they become poplar, get overly priced, portion is smaller. Food just doesn't seem to taste the same as I used to love. Service was cool and the ambiance is cool. Not what I am used too. Then missing items and had to go back to bring the whole order to make sure they don't think we just want something free, to show we're are missing some items. That is an inconvenience. First time in here at this location, it was 6:45pm , food was average, but the place was a mess, i honestly looked for a clean table to sit there was about 10 tables open and not one was clean, in the 40 mins i ate there i never saw anyone comeout and whipe down tables. Then i entered the restroom to wash my hands and yep it was dirty. More then a usual bathroom. I understand if employees are busy but hire more! Geez. read more

I don't understand all the comments, this habit is just like any other. The people are very nice, very accommodating. I don't eat meat and they are happy to adjust. I actually think that they all seem refreshing and polite at this location compared to others. My only complaint would be not to them but to corporate why in the hell would you take away the impossible burger, it was the best thing you had. The veggie burger is not a good replacement and is kind of mushy, but always has been. read more

I've always liked The Habit, but my experience at the Lake Elsinore location was really disappointing. I paid for two extra ranches, but they weren't included in my order. When I let the manager know, she asked to see my receipt as if I wasn't being honest, which felt really unnecessary and unprofessional. After that, she just said "forget it" and handed me the ranch like she was doing me a favor. I don't mind honest mistakes--they happen--but the attitude and lack of customer service was the real issue. I hope the management here can work on treating customers with more respect. The manager was so kind had the chef redo my burger, and checked on me to ask if all was good. Talk about excellent customer service. A hour before closing, we ordered a chicken club sandwich and a double char burger, but the order is messed up. The chicken club had no chicken and no bacon, but two pieces of burger patties in between. The double char burger turned out to be a single char. This is unacceptable when every burger and sandwich is wrong. We have ordered from this location many times. This is the first time this happened. Not going to pay for their mistakes. Will be returning them and see if they can remake the order the next day. Please retrain, because there is no quality control. Met my husband after a long day of work for a quick date night. Our burgers were delicious. Alma was very nice and welcoming. Restaurants was very nice and clean. Parking can be a pain since this is a busy spot. But once you do it will be worth it! read more

There are several things wrong with this new location 1. The soda machine is already experiencing issues (they were out of dr.pepper and the lemonade section was leaking/broken) 2. They didn't label nor inform me of which burger was which (order the same burger with one omitting onion,tomato and pickles). They messed up my order and ignoring the removal of certain ingredients 3. No space for waiting if you are picking up an order 4. The space is extremely small and tables are extremely close together 5. Ranch is extremely runny 6. My burger was under done Drive the the Habit in Wildomar if you want to eat from the habit. Stopped for lunch just after Labor Day and service was quick, the ease in temperature allowed us to sit outside, and the burger was excellent. If you specify doneness of your burger expect medium to medium-rare. Absolutely the best fries in Lake Elsinore too! It was the best lunch I've had in the area this year. read more

Shrinkflation has hit the Habit with smaller burgers and higher prices. I'm really, really disappointed that they charge for an extra bbq sauce or ranch. Next time I want a burger I'll go elsewhere. read more

Hello everyone. Another review on a burger and fries. Today, my son and I, we were invited to tryout Habit's new location in Lake Elsinore along with free burger combo meal. Let's begin with the burger, I had mine with cheese and I felt when I took my first bite as it took me back to the 1980s having a backyard BBQ Burger that grandpa would cook up for us. The burger is relatively the same size as In-and-Out. The taste was okay but not great. Fries were great! It wasn't over or undercooked, it was perfect. The service was great! Cashier greeted me with a smile and was knowledgeable of its menu. The Ambiance was great! Very clean! I had the Black Ice tea which was refreshing and it allowed me to enjoy it with my burger. Now for the price point for these food items. The combo meal is expensive thanks to inflation. I can get a much better pricing and value at In-and-Out if I want a cheeseburger. They do offer other food items such as a teriyaki chicken burger which I will have to come back and try again. All in all, the taste of the cheeseburger doesn't match to the price. I was going to knock one star due to the extreme price for a combo but since it was free, I have it a 5-Star. Thank Habit for inviting us. i really liked my other experiences here but after today i will not be going back. i was robbed from $35, wouldn't remake my food they messed up. and wouldn't give me a refund either. we tried calling the store and it seems like they didn't pay their phone line? so we went in person and they threw our food away with the receipt on the bag and said it was our fault our food was incorrect. my daughters food was wrong so she didn't eat it, mine was wrong so i didn't either and my bfs was the only one who got what he wanted. why would you throw away our food we paid for and not reimburse me? like wtf. i wasn't upset, but after that i was speechless. i'd love to talk to a manager but no one is ever there and apparently you can't call them either. read more

The touch screens to order food allows for no substitutes. The cashier taking the orders may have been new or just not listening, but I asked for a Santa Barbara char and she put an order in for just a char burger and fries. I also want onion rings instead of fries and mention that. I explained it about three times and they finally got it right and I simply asked for the Santa Barbara char combo. Can I substitute fries for onion rings. my food was very mediocre with no seasoning and just low quality. Absolutely will not be going back to this location. read more
