Tulum margarita was tasty and strong, would get again. Swirl soft serve margarita was sweet and tasted like strawberry and mango but wasn't strong. My family has been here before, but I was meeting a colleague for lunch and this was the best spot for us to catch up. He suggested it, and I live about 5 miles away so I was happy to try it! Checking in to see what I needed, chips and salsa hit the table- and she was fast and friendly! My colleague ordered the Camarones à la Diabla, I ordered the huevos y chorizo with flour tortillas. We also started with queso with ground beef. It was all I could do not to inhale the queso! A small is still a great portion, and if I knew I was going to love it I should've gotten the large! I came here on a recommendation by my friend as it was a later closing restaurant off exit 14 in Cumming, GA. The parking lot was huge and plentiful especially if you have a nice car that you don't want to get dented. We came in on a Saturday night and it was decently busy. We also were seated right away at a huge long table with a ton of room. The decor inside was nice and there was like a huge party of people in the last row of tables. I think it was a birthday. I ordered the Carne Asada Steak platter. I had the strawberry lemonade as my drink and it was one of the best I ever had. The steak was amazing and tender and juicy. The corn was really good as well. We were greeted by a man who looked like he sincerely wished we had not just walked through the door. We were given a tiny bowl of cold salsa to share with no refill container. No one ever came to see if we needed more chips or salsa (we did). The menu seemed skimpy and offered weird lunch specials. Some of my favorites were MIA (no bean burritos, no chile rellenos). The prices are also higher than other restaurants in the area for what you get. I ordered a ground beef quesadilla which arrived lukewarm and tasted bland. On the other hand, my brother enjoyed his steak fajita, saying it was tender and tasty. Consistently great, speedy service. My go-to when I don't feel like going far for a yummy Mexican meal. I am a creature of habit, so once I find a menu item I love, it usually ends up being my staple dish. At Hacienda, I love all their enchiladas and tacos. The beef enchiladas and enchiladas verdes are my favorites. For tacos, I always go for the southern or shrimp tacos. The avocado tacos are also a great vegetarian option. In the winter, I love to order the tortilla soup. Always fresh and the perfect amount of kick to it to really clear your sinuses and warm up the body. The guacamole dip is also extremely fresh and made to order. Full service is available at the bar, so sometimes my husband and I will just sit there and have our meals, but they have plenty of indoor/outdoor seating as well, and also offer takeout and delivery. The patio is really nice and even has a little water feature creating a relaxing ambiance. The parking lot is quite big, but does fill up on busy afternoon/evening throughout the shopping center. Hacienda is one of my family's go-to restaurants whenever we're feeling the itch to go out for dinner. From the minute the restaurant has been established, the service, the decor, and the live music have always been impeccable. Every single waiter and waitress is so kind and helpful and are always smiling - I have always felt so welcomed at Hacienda. The interior is so unique and fun, with gorgeous flowers hanging from the ceilings and cute LED signs giving the place so much personality. If you're looking for a quiet place, you could probably come to Hacienda for lunch and before the dinner rush, but it can get loud and they usually have live music on the weekends (not sure about the schedule), but I personally love the fun and vibrant atmosphere. The last time we went, Alex took care of our table and he was phenomenal - he was always checking in on us, made the most delicious guacamole, and brought us spicy sauces when we wanted to make the salsa spicier. Of all the times I've been to Hacienda, I've never had a bad dish. Every single drink and dish I've ordered was great, brought out fresh, and was portioned perfectly. We've always had vegetarians in our group (and my mom is also lactose intolerant), and the staff is always willing to tweak dishes to accommodate everyone. The owners of the restaurant are also super kind and constantly come out to chat with their customers and receive feedback, which is great to see because I've felt that they truly care about their customers' experiences. We came upon this restaurant tucked in the corner of the Sprouts strip mall and decided to give it a try for our Valentines dinner. We arrived earlier than the dinner crowd so it wasn't too noisy or busy and we could hear each other talk. However as dinner hour approached it kept getting busier and busier not to mention louder and louder. That evening they brought in a DJ. Not sure if they have one every weekend bc this was our first visit. It definitely brought up the volume in the restaurant but it was fun and he played some great tunes. Our server was prompt and attentive to our needs during our entire meal. We ordered two 27 oz margaritas and other than them being a bit on the sweet side due to using agave nectar, I enjoyed them, weren't too boozy for me and the price was decent. Really enjoyed the chips and salsa. The salsa had a little spicy kick and the chips were on the thinner side which made them easier to chew. We enjoyed guacamole made table side and it was a lot and very tasty. We shared single order of grilled chicken fajitas and ordered an extra side of flour tortillas (3) which was enough for two people. The grilled chicken was cooked perfect, juicy and not dry at all. I was a bit surprised at the small amount of rice and beans that came with the fajitas. Plus the wee smidge of sour cream which I asked for a small amount and was given a small container of more for $2.49. Next time I'll be more specific bc I didn't want or need that much and of course bc you paid for it, we wanted to use it up. Our churro dessert was scrumptious, nice warm churros and ice cream and enough to share. The inside of the restaurant is decorated very beautifully with lots of color and decor to look at. The bench seats of our table could have been wiped down bc of crumbs from other customers. I noticed they seemed to be at full staff which was nice since it was a busy evening. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall parking lot. On a nice warm evening, the front patio might be a nice place to dine. However inside the restaurant is pretty large as is their long bar in the bar area. Also loved all the Mexican music being piped in before the DJ started spinning his tunes. Stopped in before shopping at the outlets and had lunch! The parking lot was very spacious and we had numerous options but decided to stop here. We were the first ones to arrive at 11:30am on a Tuesday. The restaurant was very clean and the staff opened the door for us on arrival. The portions were just enough and delicious! Soon after we received our food the restaurant started filling up quick. They had various lunch menu options but I just wasn't in the mood for any of them. They also served a plethora of cocktails that looked yummy for a weekend date. My only complaint was on this particular day the restaurant was EXTREMELY COLD! Service & food is always great here & we have been going for 3 years now. However, last night our food experience was less than ideal. I had the chilaquiles (had many times) with just the egg (requested over easy) & red/green sauce. The egg was fried with the yolk being hard & there was no half & half sauce. Flavor was good but lacking what it used to be. My husband had the Pollo Hacienda & his shrimp was over cooked (tough) & the chicken was very dry. Let the waitress know about the chilaquiles & she spoke with the chef & said there was a miscommunication (?). This is our favorite local Mexican joint the service, fajitas, tacos, flautas and enchiladas cannot be beat! The staff is always fast and friendly. They work as a team! The chips are hot and fresh every time! My husband loves a Margarona! They just updated their menu (pic here) and they have a new presentation for the way they serve the carne asada! My tacos chingones on corn tortillas were covered with guac and pickled onions. I got a side of charro beans a lime wedge and the actual beef bone with the fat rendering on the side. This chain of restaurant has my HEART! I've only tried the Suwanee location up until now, but I've recently had the pleasure of ordering from the Cumming location! I ordered takeout of the chilaquiles with half/half salsa green & red with eggs. It was such a yummy and filling combo of fresh chips, rice, beans, eggs, cheese, and avocado. I think this is my new favorite item on the menu. I could only get through a little over halfway before I was stuffed and had leftovers. Did not predict coming out this far ever in my lifetime, but one of my groups meet here almost every other week. It resides in a big shopping center, and it's very hard to miss. It's very well lit up and very inviting! They have patio seating a decent sized indoor option. The atmosphere is certainly appealing here, so I give them props for that. The chips and salsa were decent, so that's always a plus! I ordered the Margarona to drink and Tacos Al Pastor (but with chicken) for my meal. Service was excellent! My drink was really good and strong. Mini bottle of corona dumped into a fish bowl of margarita, what's not to like about that? I was less pleased with my tacos. I had dejected it bc I wanted the cilantro and pineapple, but barely tasted any. The rice that came with it was a very small portion. For $14, you'd think a full side of rice would come with it? Overall, still a great experience. Be prepared to shell out a little more than normal Mexican places when eating here. read more

After ordering food from Hacienda through Uber Eats for the past year, I finally got a chance to dine in. Hubs and I came on a Thursday evening. The place was busy, but not packed. We were greeted immediately upon entering. The weather was nice so we asked to sit outside. We were seated right away. We ordered the following Queso Shrimp tacos Enchiladas The tacos came with three shrimp tacos topped with avocado and cheese, side of rice, side of beans and sauce. I didn't try the sauce. The tacos were flavorful enough for me. It was very filling. Hubs got the enchiladas and it came with three stuffed enchiladas. He ate half and took the rest to go. Portions were generous.
