This is the real deal! I love this place! Those people that wrote a bad review or a review saying this is not authentic Mexican food must be blind and have no taste buds. My sister head about this place through a coworker so we decided to go check them out. It is a little hard to find because is on top of a hill but follow the side street and you will see a sign that says 'Hacienda salon" and go through the white gate. There was plenty of parking when we went on a Sunday at 11am. Be aware you will wait on average 30 minutes for a table of 5 during peak times on the weekends like my family did. Also you pay upfront and make sure to keep your receipt. It may seem crowded and kinda chaotic but the staff seem to have a system that keeps everything running. Our waitress Suzie was nice and constantly keep checking on us to see if we needed more tortillas or refills. If you want good Mexican food but are scared of commitment to one dish you need to come here and try a little of everything for one price. All the staff is bilingual so yall non Spanish speaking people come on down. They give you a buzzer that lets you know when your table is ready. That gives you time to go check out the beautiful outdoor space they have. There are water fountains and a waterfall with plenty of benches to sit. There is also a bar area that is open to purchase drinks. Once inside we were escorted to our seats and a waitress took our drink orders (which drinks are included with the buffet). They have the typical sodas as well as agua fresca like horchata and tamarindo. They offer flour or corn tortillas. Those that say the tortillas are not hand made are wrong. The corn tortillas were not store bougth (maybe the flour) but not the corn for sure, trust me I am Mexican and have been eating tortillas since day 1 and can tell when they are store bought. Ok now to the food (my favorite part), they had so much food it was a shame i did not get to try all of it. First let me start with the gizo station, they had chicharones in salsa roja, salsa verde, salsa de molcajete, salsa de chile de arbol and many more! Then the had both menudo AND pozole!!!!! *inster jaw dropeed wide open to the floor picture** In the soup they also had caldo de res, seafood caldo with big shrimp.There was also corn on the side to add to any stew. Next to that was the fruit and sweet section. It had the typical watermelon, peaches etc. Around the corner from that they had a salsa bar. Once again it was such a shame i was so full i did not get to try them all but the 2 green ones i had were good! Lets continue the tour with the next food station. They had rice, refired beans, chicken fajitas, beef fajitas, beef and sausage, porchop in salsa roja, cactus in red sauce and much more. Further down the serving line they had fried shrimp, fried butterfly shrimp, fried catfish, chicken nuggets, chicken tenders plus other typical american food. But wait there is more! In the middle they had a pre-made salad section / seafood section. There was ceviche, shrimp cocktail, tuna salad, macaroni salad and many more i cant remember. Ok one more station was the regular salad bar where they had sliced tomatoes, jalapenos, ranch dressing etc. And last but not least they had a pan dulce station with hot chocolate or ponche to drink. Overall I really liked this place, it is really popular so be prepared to wait for a table. The decor and atmosphere on the inside is enough to make it feel cozy without being over the top tacky. I couldn't wait to share my experience with this buffet. My expectations were not too high so maybe that helped. The place has charm. The food was fantastic cannot complain about any of it. Real real Mexican food!!!!! No yellow cheese anywhere. It was a busy night yet it did not feel crowded at all. There is plenty of space inside and out. Only downside was the service from the waiters and waitresses they were delayed in taking our drink orders and didn't really check on us throughout. They were nice just a little slow. The price is fair too, unfortunately not the kids price. My kids barely nibbled on food. located behind a shopping center and thru a gate, this place seemed kinda off at first. The place is pretty big and has a nice outdoor area out back. Once inside, we were greeted by a kind hostess who took our payment before being seated by our server, who was also very nice and very attentive. There was plenty of seating and there are signs asking to limit your time to 1.5 hours on the weekend as they can get pretty busy. The buffet was huge! It was a little overwhelming how many different items they offered. everything I tried, the sopes, the flautas, the salsa, the rice and beans, etc, etc, etc was so good! Some of the meat items did need a little more seasoning, but it was nothing a little salsa and lime couldn't fix. even though I didn't need it after stuffing my face, I was a little disappointed that they did not have pan dulce as pictured on here and on their Facebook page, but maybe it's because it was a Monday lunch and not a weekend or dinner time. Don't let the reviews sway you away from coming here! My family and I paid $15 per head with the drinks included. Before walking in I walked around the restaurant and loved the clean outdoor area for probably the many parties and gatherings it is used for, giving me a sense of what I'm heading into. When we went inside and paid, we were greeted by a wonderful waitress who was very attentive and hospitable throughout our entire meal. The amount of options on the buffet is astounding and have enough options for vegetarians. There was plenty of meat dishes enough to count to around 50+ and the ones I tried tasted great. There was also a large selection of salsas numbering to about 15+ which I enjoyed trying on all of my dishes. One extra note I would add is the cleanliness of the location. The floors felt very clean and the restrooms felt cleaned daily which extended my enjoyment of my experience. Authentic Mexican food usually doesn't have a lot of salt so keep that in mind, this I didn't mind and let me enjoy the flavors a lot more. The atmosphere was wonderful and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time smiling and kept the spirit inside high. Loved the cinnamon coffee and fresh corn and flour tortillas brought to the table! This is an authentic Mexican place. The food here has interesting variety and amazing flavor. I went with my friend and her family who are from Mexico and they said they were impressed with the flavor and authenticity. This place is gross! I'm a true Mexican food lover and my husband, a Hispanic, knows Tex-mex and authentic Mexican food. We went for a family get together this past Sunday. When waking up to the building I noticed how cute the patio was, it has a outside bar and plenty of outside seating. Then we entered the restaurant and went to the hosts. Negatives: Parking lot is terrible and to find the place was bit of a mission in itself. Once there the organization to get people in was terrible. A big lines outside with no greeters keeping track of who came in or when. I saw several customers angry because they had been waiting for almost 30 minutes and they weren't on any list.
