I am a AAA member, when I got a flat tire on the 73 tollroad, I called AAA for assistance when my jack broke. AAA contracted with Hadley Towing to send out a guy to help. Well, that guy's ETA was within 30 minutes of the call. After 30 minutes, our Hadley driver was no where in sight. I called AAA again, and they called Hadley and got another 45 minutes ETA. After that 45 minutes passed, i got a call from a Hadley tow driver, and he said it would be 10 minutes. That 10 minutes came and went severl times over. In the end, the Hadley tow driver never actually found me. I had to improvise on my own to fix the jack. Had to pound it out with rocks that I found on the side of the road. After about 2 1/2 hours the Hadley tow driver called again, but then it was too late. This is a terrible company that only exists because of AAA road service contracts that it does not deliver on. read more

We waited for a while on the side of the freeway, kids were anxious and shaken up to be inside the car on the narrow shoulder of the 73 fwy. Although it took almost 1.5 hrs for the tow truck to arrive, when it did arrive it turned into a fun experience for my boys. Thank you Andrew for turning a bad experience into a memorable for my kids. Giving this business 3 stars because of the long wait. After several calls back and forth with our insurance company, they have told us that "Hadley Tow is flat out lying that AAA disputes are handled with AAA." They said they have contacted Hadley Tow directly multiple times to resolve this and have had no response from your company. I have also tried calling and emailing your company with no resolve. I DO NOT like to give negative reviews but your tow truck driver caused over $3000 in damages. It is all documented from a surveillance camera and we have sent those videos to your company. All we are asking for is that Hadley Tow reimburse our $500 deductible. No one at your company seems to care--there is zero accountability. Again, the proof is in the video. I do not want to post the videos since your employee is clearly in the video but it is terrible what your company did to our car. read more

My car broke down I made it to a Costco parking lot.... My AAA said it would be here in hour and 15 min or so....fine.... And I check in with aaa and they said this company decided to decline the work order.... This is there job and mine woulda been quite easy... jump battery maybe..... and then tow my car 30 miles to home..... they cancelled when they were suppose to arrive.... I wish I could rate Hadley Tow as a zero. I had three technicians test my battery. The first two technicians stated my battery needed to be replaced, but they did not have the battery with them. The third technician, Michelle, stated my battery was fine and guaranteed that the charge would hold next day. Not to my surprise, the next morning my battery was dead and I was unable to use my car for the 6th day in a row. Absolutely ridiculous! Worst experience ever! Now I'm going to get my battery at Costco, it's $60 cheaper compared to AAA's pricing, and comes with three year warranty. I would not recommend being serviced through Hadley. read more

Please spare yourself a lot of grief. I recently had a flat tire and unfortunately AAA dispatched Hadley towing. First the driver was rude but I can move on front that. What I can't let go of is that the driver put two small dents on my door near the front tire. My car is only three weeks old and he dented it. After he dropped off my car at the tire shop when I walked up to my car I immediately saw the dents and reach out to the driver. He quickly denied it and stated that it was not even possible. The short of it is through triple an and back and forth it was my word and against his and I lost. Even worse I was stuck with a 2200$ repair bill due to the location of the dents. This is a colossal bummer so do yourself a favour dont risk your car with Hadley towing. read more

Would leave a zero star if I could. Have a slashed tire and am on side of road with my kid. Called AAA they gave call to Hadley. Hadley dispatch called 30 minutes later saying they got my call tow from AAA. I said yes I have no spare and need a tow to tire center. 30 minutes later driver calls me and says I have a Tesla so don't have a spare. I said yes I know I need a tow truck, he said he didn't have a spare or a tow truck. So I called dispatch who said call AAA which I already had so had to start call all over again. I can't believe they are still in business. I filed a formal complaint with AAA. The 20 minute wait turned into a 50 minutes then 2 1/2 hours before I called an Uber. I'm a single woman stranded alone for hours. Thankfully it was not dark out. This is unsafe! They accept a call knowing full well they have nobody available. Do not use them. If you have had similar issues I encourage you to cal AAA. As a side note: if anything happened to me would I sue Hadleys as they lied and said a truck was on the way - or AAA for continuing to use them in spite of multiple complaints about being stranded? read more

AAA assigned Hadley tow to pick up my vehicle from my residence. As I was waiting at my vehicle at the specified time I received a notification saying they would not be completing the job. Upon contacting AAA they informed me that Hadley had canceled the service and contacted me informing me which was not true. I was stuck on freeway and driver showed up and quoted me a price to take my vehicle to a repair shop... After we agree on a price he increases it by 25 dollars and I said we had a firm price.... he said it is what it is and threw my keys at me after I disputed the increase in price.. drove away leaving me stuck on freeway...called the office and said i would pay the extra fee to get my truck off the freeway and they agreed. I waited an hour ..never showed..I called and they said that they were not interested in picking me up.... they could have called....lousy service..never gonna use them again and i will recommend my friends to do the same.....horrible people....the hook up fee was 85 dollars and the per mile fee was 10 dollars i needed to go 11 miles... So total would have been 195 dollars... I think there are better prices else where to be found with decent service. read more

Being a triple A member for over fifty years I've had a vehicle problem while on the road more than once. I can't remember one where the technician wasn't ready and willing to help. The AAA club of this country and its contract helpers do a pretty good job of getting you back on the road or tow you to where it can be made to happen. I've heard horror stories but never experienced one first hand. This week on the eve of the third of July just about sunset a family member had a tire shredding blowout. With no spare on the newly acquired vehicle and being in Costa Mesa where I've lived as long as I can recall I took her home and called AAA. I knew they would be busy on a holiday eve. The dispatcher informed me I was looking at two to three hours before help could arrive. The car was stranded in a deserted business area. Glad it was me waiting instead of someone else. In my experience it's better to under promise and over deliver. Within twenty minutes the tow truck driver called saying he was almost there and could I give him exact details on my location. I did and he quipped, oh man that's gonna be another thirty minutes! Right as I was about to explain to this guy he was being a real you know what I started laughing immediately knowing he was just pulling that little chain putting me in a better frame of mind. Not that I wasn't ok with my situation only now I realized how much better I felt about doing a small thing most men don't mind doing in first place. Two minutes later he was pulling that Honda up onto his flatbed. He followed me home put the car in place thanked me for being a longtime customer and off he went to the next waiting customer. Laughter makes things better. Jay was cool knew his stuff and made me laugh. Well done. Things can always be worse. This little blip made me happy and it was free only bc I've always purchased their service knowing how much they have to charge for labor and equipment to do this service if you don't pay in advance. AAA took 2 hours to respond to me but this towing company reached me within 25 mins which was exactly the timing they quoted and sent a fantastic mechanic to help me. They are warm and friendly . I crossed paths with Hadley Tow via AAA. My car battery died while I was parked in the vacuum stall of a drive thru car wash on a Friday night, just before the car wash closed. The gentleman who came to my rescue, Tom, went above and beyond to find me. He was extremely patient, listening to me give out whatever landmarks I could see, since the carwash had turned off all of it's lights and (unbeknownst to me) had coned off the driveway into the parking lot where my car was! Tom was very kind and helpful, and when I drove out (my car was parked really far back from the entrance) and saw the very dark and coned off entrance to the car wash I was at--I was truly impressed that he managed to find me. This guy has a serious attitude problem and was smoking on the job while my kids were in the back seat of the car. He barely spoke to me and had a horrible demeanor. We requested a tow through AAA when my 90 year old mom's car broke down. Hadley Tow was our towing service. We were quoted an hour, which was stretched over and over again for 2 and a half hours, when another tow company stepped in and helped us. I read all the negative yelp reviews today and just don't understand because I have experienced with Hadley Tow nothing but great service.
