Tried HP for the first time with a group of friends. I ordered one of their new bowls, the Red Ember Salmon Bibimbap. It was really delicious! The salmon was prepared flavorfully, cooked perfectly, and the portion size remarkably generous. The service was polite and friendly. My husband ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and described it as unremarkable - no strong praise or complaint. I particularly appreciated the no-charge sample of a beer I thought I might want, the friendly server who took a great pic of the whole table, the check being split four ways for a group of six, and being allowed to linger well after our meal was done. read more

The menu at Hagemeister Park is huge. I'm not usually a fan of huge menus because I don't like a lot of options, but I was visiting with some people who had been here before, so they pointed me in the right direction. We got a couple of appetizers: the Bavarian pretzels, served with beer cheese; and the Firecracker Shrimp. The shrimp were my favorite of the two because they're served with a sweet and tangy sauce that was great. I was feeling like something relatively light, so I got the Bulleit Bourbon Salmon, which came with wild rice and steamed broccoli. It turns out that the salmon is super sweet from the bourbon glaze, so it wasn't a particularly light dish, but it was nourishing nevertheless. I got a couple of glasses of Cabernet with my dinner, but I don't think wine is their thing, because they only had like two options of red and white. If you're a beer or cocktail drinker, you'll find lots more to drink on the menu. The restaurant itself is huge and can accommodate big parties. Service was alright, not the best I've had but not completely the worst. The whole vibe of the restaurant is nice and great place to hang out after the game. Maybe have a few drinks. As for the food, very disappointing. Got the mozzarella sticks and they were cold in the middle. If you're going to microwave them that's how they were, very disappointing. Ordered their burger something simple and the cook messed it up too. Very raw, not how I wanted it at all. Ordered my son a grill cheese, don't know how you can mess that up but they did, cheese was barely melted, at least they didn't mess up grilling the bread. They need a better cook or do something, if I come here again it will be for the drinks and that's if I feel like drinking. Want some good food try another spot or be pretty toasted from the games then you won't have an issue eating here. read more

Admittedly this was not my choice for the night. So I went down the road and thankfully their kitchen was still open at 7:30 PM. I had no issue getting a table but it took a bit for me to have someone come to my table. In their defense there was one server for about seven tables so they were spread way too thin. But I made my order (this place has my biggest ICK of a restaurant with no physical menus) but I got the Monday special of a burger and it was fine. Fell more in line with a char broil than a good grill. But had decent taste. Thinking about it I was not asked how I would like my burger done. But it was fine for what I was expecting. I love the food and that they offer gluten free for celiacs. I ordered gluten free food (we've been here multiple times) and asked for ranch as a side. After coming home from dinner I was sick to my stomach and I called and asked if their ranch was gluten free (I used to work at the bar east & know theirs isnt as they add flower) and she said no. I've asked this before multiple times when eating there and have been told it is. but clearly it is not. If you offer gluten free food options your staff NEEDS to be aware of what's gluten free and not. read more

We sat outside on the patio. It was windy and there was a bunch of napkins and assorted trash blowing around. The seagulls were also very attentive. It was decently busy by the time we left, and I think every table was full. We ordered the cheese curds as an appetizer, and they were delicious. By the time I went to take a picture, they were nearly gone! Food: - The rest of our order was good. No one had a single complaint about the food. - Portion sizes were decent, and the food came out hot. Service: - The service was meh. The server was slow and we barely could find her. Walked in, maybe 4 or 5 tables seated. Expected at least attentive service. Not a good idea apparently. Walk in and immediately think this is an oversized college bar. That's the vibe. Service-sat at the bar. Got immediate attention, and handed a menu, no what do you want to drink, nothing. So I looked at the menu, and put it down, then i waited for a few minutes while the bartender handled a couple drinks and talked with their fellow waitress staff. Got my order in finally. Then I waited again. Food might have had decent flavor...had it not come out cold. Ordered the Texas t-bone med-rare, came out well done. And again...cold, like the garlic butter didn't even melt cold. Same for all the veggies, cold. Should have opted to pay more and get scolded for my expense report. At least I would have enjoyed the meal. Honestly if I wasn't such a softie I would have left no tip, but I can't be that much of an a-hole. read more

The location is great being right on the water. Unfortunately the food selection was very limited when we ate there and were stuck going with our 3rd and 4th choices because so much was unavailable. The outdoor patio is great for drinks on hot day or relaxing evening. We tried the pub chips and vidalia dip, as well as the firecracker shrimp. Both were just ok. This restaurant was so terribly mediocre. I had the perch sandwich with the house chips and the french onion soup (not pictured). The perch sandwich tasted good thankfully but it was the most merger perch fillet that I've had in a long time. In my attached photo you can see it's nearly the same width as my tomato in the sandwich. It's saving grace was it did indeed taste good but I did feel scammed with the fish quantity. The house chips were awful, burnt and sour in taste & flavor. I believe they used too old potatoes and then also fried them way too long (maybe to hide the fact the potatoes had spoiled ). I did enjoy my french onion soup it was not too salty and did in fact had a complex umami flavor like it should. Our waitress sucked, she took forever between check-ins and only filled my tables' drinks once, only after majority of us had finished eating our meals. The experience also was soured by having to play a back and forth game between the inside-only and outside-only hosts. It is a longer than expected walk between the two host stands, by the way. We wanted to sit outside if we could but preferred instead to be seated inside as it was quicker, understandably. read more

Stopped here after Bay Beach with two hungry toddlers. Luckily it was not a busy time and they were very accommodating. Our server Dani was excellent -prompt, and flexible. They have a kids menu and were able to swiftly serve the kids food to keep them from getting "hangry". Food was good and we took a walk on the deck with the kids. There was a fountain coming out of the boardwalk just next-door that the kids really enjoyed. Everyone found something they liked on the menu. I ordered the margarita flatbread and it was awful. It was swimming in oil. Way too much pesto! The entire flatbread was sitting in a pool of oil. The service was not the best either. Our server kept walking by our table but didn't stop unless we waved her down. She seemed overwhelmed. read more

Came here twice in a short period of time out of coincidence. The service is nice and ambiance solid but the food was just adequate both times. The cocktails were good though! Best things I had: Firecracker Shrimp, Brussel sprouts, and the Elk burger. Biggest Issue: Their chicken dishes. Both time the chicken on two separate dishes was not made well. It was too thick, chewy, and lacked moisture. Their pasta also lacked flavor. I think with a few tweaks this place could be a lot better. There's a bit too many "just ok" menu items but overall its a great spot to sit and have a drink! read more

We are here for the "Green Bay Restaurant Week" one of many participating restaurants. We were actually across the river and could see and hear the entertainment, so we thought we would go check it out. We went inside to eat and sat at their large bar. Hannah, our bartender, was great. She showed us all the different menu items, beers and explained the "Restaurant Week" event. We had the three course, starting with the firecracker shrimp, cranberry nut salad and cheesecake. We were three persons We had strawberry margaritas : slush and lasted 1/2 hour. Great . We sat outside and Emily was singing (she said she is staff toi). Friday night: her singing will not win her a Grammy, but she sure entertained me and I clapped at times. I had Elk burger: 5/5 and as described . My first companion ribeye; she found it charred about average: 3/5 My second companion: steak and scallops , meat was well done despite my friend asking it to be medium. Thy did new one for her and she liked it. The server was very nice and attitude free. Staff were young but very efficient, even though dine seemed like just being there (may be new staff!,) Nice outside seating and large inside seating: We came walking so I have no idea about parking. We decided to try this place for our first Easter brunch in years. The food was ok, but they couldn't keep up with the items that everyone wanted. They need to have someone on French toast duty from the start of the day to the end of the day because they just couldn't keep up. Every time I went up for some, it was gone. The apple pie for dessert was served partially frozen. I heard the same on some of the other desserts our family tried. The bright spot of the day was our server. My nephew is autistic and started to have a tantrum over the TV not being on in the room we were going to be eating in. He would have been fine after dad calmed him down, but she offered to have the TV turned on which saved my brother a little time trying to get him to calm down. I wish I could remember her name to give her a shoutout, she was fabulous. Unfortunately, we are going to try a new place for brunch next year. read more

Probably one of the best servers ever today. My aunt passed away and wanted to get out of the house and eat some food. She was absolutely amazing had a nice Bloody Mary and new 72 pale ale chaser. We called this the Harry Potter bar due to the HP on the door! We had to come in for a closer look! Turns out it indeed is not a harry potter bar but it was a very cool vibe, relaxed and super friendly! We came in for a quick drink, quick bite before we headed to the game! Service was excellent, beer was cold, and we very excitedly tried the cheese curds which was highly recommended by every person in Greenbay!! They were so delicious def a must try! It's odd they're billed here as a burger joint, because they "don't do temps on burgers." Once I asked enough questions to translate that, it seems they do not allow you to request a specific doneness for your burger, which seems odd since they sell a nearly $20 wagyu beef burger. But, nope, you can't request that medium rare or even medium. It will "most likely be medium well - to well done." And don't bother ordering a cocktail. They know neither martini nor manhattan. We wanted to try the French Onion Soup and Margarita Flat Bread, they were out of both...Okay, so we said, let's just have some greens, and asked for the Brussels Sprout, they were out of that too! The Pub Chips, are pub-style potato chips served with our signature Vidalia dip, but it was a meh. The dip sauce had really no flavor to it, and being named "vidalia" you'd think some onion flavor, but no. The Firecracker Shrimp are fantail deep-fried shrimp on a bed of mixed cabbage, drizzled with sriracha honey lime aioli and topped with green onions, those were okay too. Very disappointed with our eating experience here, but loved the view, hence my 3 star review. The waitress was nice and friendly, but a little slowish to refill our adult drinks. Ordered a patty melt with broccoli on the side. The patty melt was tasty but the portion was small, the delicious marble rye slices were about the size of Wonder bread - you will go away hungry. The reason for the 1 star though was the moldy broccoli they served me. I asked the waitress if she would eat it and she said no...enough said on that. We are In town for Packer game and it was way to cold to hang in the overly crowed joints close by. Located downtown in a revitalized area away from the stadium so quieter and easier to get seating. We choose here based on recommendation by local. Not overly busy and were seated quickly. It looks as if visited by more locals then tourist. Lots of beer sections and an intriguing menu. Pub type menu with selections of creative burgers, sandwiches, pizzas and salads to offer. Our server was very friendly and efficient. We had specialty burger, pizza, and wraps. All were good. Mix drink specials were very tasty also. :-) Nice loft style atmosphere with a view of the Fox river. There are about 20 TVs and all NFL games on direct TV. The back of the restaurant is all glass and has a great view of the Fox River. There is seating out back also (to cold this day to sit out there) allowing you to enjoy the river view. They offer a shuttle bus to the stadium on game days/nights. read more
