The first time, I had to move from Union City to a storage facility in Elk Grove and this past weekend we had two teams going, one from San Jose to Elk Grove and the other from the storage facility to our new home. Pure Moving was perfect in all ways possible. They were professional, prompt, efficient, and super friendly. They handled and wrapped items with care and made you feel at ease that everything was going to be safe and secure. They disassembled furniture as needed and reassembled it on site. One great detail, they laid down plastic protectors everywhere to keep things clean and tidy where they would be stepping. And cleaned up all the plastic wrap/coverings, cardboard and tape they used while packing and unpacking. They literally took care of all the heavy - and even the light - lifting! All the other places just sent what seemed to be automated messages trying to convince me why they're so amazing rather than actually looking at what was needed for the project. So from the start, I felt like Happy House was being straightforward with me. They have a clear and simple pricing system and there were no hidden fees. The two gentlemen that came by to move my items were great. This was a bit of a different project than a lot of moves because I had already moved into my house and had my items in two POD storage containers in my driveway. They worked quickly and yet still handled my items with care. They even took the time to try to dismantle a dining room table that we were having trouble getting inside the door, but ultimately ended up finding a different solution instead. It took them nearly an hour just to carry a mattress down three flights of stairs because they had to stop and rest several times. After everything was packed, moving a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home still took 5.5 hours. They also damaged my child's wooden play kitchen by punching a hole in it, and they placed the mattress upside down with the sleeping surface facing the floor. On top of that, they pressured us to give a tip. Overall, I would not recommend this company.

I used A 2 B moving Company in April they were very efficient moving my things to my new place…read more I paid them and they were on their way To my surprise, I checked my account in June and they took another payment out of $1350.50 without my consent . This was almost 2 months later had I not checked my account they would have had the payment and I would have lost out on a large amount of money. I even referred this company to a few of my friends and they decided to go another way.... Good thing! I will NEVER REFER anyone to A2B moving company or use them again and if you're moving really research the company before you use. The reason I am making this review is because when I talked to the owner she wasn't sympathetic she said to me it was a very minor mistake. I don't call taking $1350.50 for the same amount that I paid in April and then in June the same amount a minor mistake. I can't bring myself to give them a rating.
