Go somewhere else. I found the manager to be unprofessional and rude. She would talk about every person coming in and make unnecessary rude comments. I came in because I wanted grayish balayage, keep in mind my hair was previously lightened before (I had a blonde balayage) and left with brassy dark brown hair. She said I'd have to come back in the future to lighten it again. Why lighten it if my hair was lighter before I came in?? She straight up darkened my hair! And not in a good way, it looks like overgrown roots and it looks like a harsh line where my roots meet the dyed part. I captioned the pictures to see what my hair looked like before the appointment and what I left with... Why would she darken it and tell me to come back in a few weeks to lighten it???? I also messaged the establishment about this recently but was ignored. I don't feel comfortable coming back here anyways.... read more

I was lucky enough to get in with April. I called and explained my hair crisis. She told me to come in and she would try her best to help before we had to chop anything off. She took her time and offered suggestions to help get the length back sooner. She was kind and made this horrible hair situation 1000 times better. I left feeling good knowing I had some length to work with. If you are looking for a great place this is it! PS: I had many uneven layers so to keep the length I didn't want a straight even cut. I am so in LOVE with my nails!! I scheduled to get a manicure and pedicure done by April, and she got started right away. She takes her time and is VERY THOROUGH. She cleaned them up, was gentle, uses ONLY SAFE products (meaning no acetone - thank you, April), and was so pleasant. I felt like I was getting my nails done by a friend, even though this was my first time at the salon! My cuticles look great. The color is perfectly even. My nails were shaped expertly. I've had problems in the past where a nail technician has caused me so much pain. Not April! ALSO, she hand makes her foot scrubs. Two locations and 2-3 ownership changes later I'm still an avid fan and customer! Some time back, has it been 12-years already? I had my friend Kathryn maintain my mange as I ranged from longish and curly to cropped and sporty, and all lengths in between. One talented stylist? While it could not last forever, when she decided to have a baby and effectively retire, Kathryn made a recommendation in Sarah Lopez as a replacement. This review is about the location, and Sarah :) I like it when I arrive early because Eureka Burger is next door and I can down a strong brew before sitting in the chair. Clearly the 10am appointments are a limiter for this course of action, but parking is easier before lunch. Inside it is modern and dark colors with large mirrors and good lighting. The waiting area, although small, provides comfortable chairs where I can enjoy complimentary cucumber water. After the first cut, Sarah immediately adopted to how my hair grows, how fast or slow, and so on. Like Kathryn before her, I quickly trusted her skills and let her decide what to do with my mess. Not really a mess, but I like simple, as in low maintenance (if only I could find a low maintenance girlfriend), especially if I can get away without using product every day! I can easily recommend Sarah as a stylist because she's fun, a great conversationalist, and talented. I've seen her handiwork with female customers and it looks amazing! Until I move and have to find a replacement, Kaos will remain my salon of choice. read more

She claims that she refunded my money because of my son, but I was the one that wanted my money back. Also I wanted a new set done on nails not just get those two nails done because I didn't pay 50 dollars plus tip for nothing. If my son would of broken her "expensive" light I would offer to pay for it no matter the cost. She also tells that my son was running back and forth while someone was asking her questions and she was texting while working on my nails. She was being pay for her service and she should have approach the situation in a different way. The hard gel coming off wasn't because she found it difficult to work on me due to my son, she is just using my son as her scapegoat for her bad quality of hard gel she used on me. So I went in with a month old set from a place in San Diego and she told me she would be more comfortable starting new she gave me a $50 price for a full set and she didn't charge to remove the old nails(over the phone and it was for a full set coffin shaped with glow in the dark acrylic powder, the day I got them done I decided I wanted an almond shape instead of a coffin shape and she let me know it would be $5 extra for a reshape...even though she had to shape all the nails so I didn't really understand why I was charged a different price for almond vs coffin shape). Well the old nails never were fully removed, she left part of them under the new nails. And when she finished "removing" the old nails I saw that there was still visible pink so when she asked me what color glow in the dark I wanted between blue, green and pink (blue and green only glowed those colors, the actual nail color was a clouded clear color) I said I wanted the pink so that it matched. She told me the pink wouldn't show. So I just kinda let her design how she wanted cause she said she wanted to have fun. Well in her having fun NONE of my nails matched. And the right hand has these metallic shiny pieces in the acrylic of some of them and none of my nails in the right hand had them, and the glow in the dark did not match on both hands. When I got home I realized they were THICK. And weren't shaped the same of both hands, some nails had ridges on the top, they weren't the same length on both hands, and pretty much none of them were rounded like nails at the bottom. When I came back she reshaped my nails and explained to me that formed nails had to be thick due to the apex and to look it up. (Which she fixed the shape, length and ridges but not the thickness) and she also painted my nails that weren't glowing at all. One last thing. I set my appointment, and had to cancel it at first. She called me and let me know she normally charges when people cancel within 24 hours of their appointment but she would waive that and just make it so that I made a deposit for my actual appointment that would go towards my nails on the day of. So I sent her a $25 deposit and on the day of my appointment, she changed the price from $50 as quoted over the phone to $55 so I handed her $40 in cash expecting change so that I could decide tip myself but she never gave me change. read more

Had my first haircut there this week and really enjoyed the experience. Ashley Deniro did a WONDERFUL job! I'm not super picky about where I get my haircuts, but I do enjoy a more modern/trendy atmosphere, and this place seems to have that -not to mention it's next to a burger restaurant. :) The staff was kind and they made me feel very welcome. One of my favorite things was their attention to customer retention. Right away they talk about the "next time you come in." They want to build a relationship with you as their customer, which I appreciate so much. It's not just a one-off experience for them, they want you as a client for life. Great place! I couldn't wait to come home and write this review! This was the first time going to Kaos and Sarah L. cut my hair. First she greeted me with the warmest smile, she's such a doll. She first had me sit down in her chair and had me explain the style of cut I wanted. I showed her my picture and she knew exactly what to do, she started to explain what her process was going to be and how much was going to get cut (which actually wasn't much and my hair is the healthiest it's ever looked and felt) She took me to wash my hair and proceeded to also give a massage, felt amazing. Took me back to her cutting chair and did the most fabulous cut I have ever had! All while engaging in very nice conversation. Made me feel like I've known her forever. I have never left a salon happier, it's very difficult for me to find a stylist that can cut and style my multi textured hair and for me to leave ecstatic. Honestly I went on a whim and decided to get a balayage for the first time ever. I called this salon and was wondering if they were taking same-day appointments (everyone in Redlands was booked after reopening from quarantine). Luckily, Kama accepted me and I'm so glad that she did. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and a lovely person to talk to. She helped me understand the process of a balayage and taught me all about hair care. Jessica is the BEST!!!!!! Finding a great hair stylist who can be straight forward with you, and tell you whether your desired color is obtainable, is so hard to find. I've been lied to before and have had my hair damaged pretty bad. I was hesitant to try a new salon again, but my coworker recommended her hairstylist that she has been going to for years. Jessica was able to schedule me in when I needed. She was honest about getting me as close as possible to the lighter blonde I wanted, but not exactly as light, without extreme damage and breakage. I called at noon and was lucky enough to get a same day appointment! Front desk was very helpful and Amber was who they scheduled to style my hair. She asked me some questions after I showed her a picture with a basic idea of what I wanted. She made recommendations towards overall shape and I love the finished product! It's sexy and fresh and looks totally healthy! My cut was evened out and lightened up and it's bouncy and feels really good. Ok firstly I get my hair done by Krystalyn she's awesome...she does everything I want and need from cutting my hair to a fantastic Aline to putting in my tape in extensions and blending it so well that you would never know how short my hair really is!
