I have attached photos that speak louder than words. Do NOT go to Kenny! Kenny filters his posted photos and they are not all authentic. My Mom went to Kenny on August 31st after I was referred to him by a friend. I saw his work on social media and was so excited. She goes and gets a base color change, base, cut etc almost $300. Meanwhile, kenny sends me this blonde photo of my mom on social media while I'm at work, which looks amazing I thank him profusely. When I get home my Mom looks NOTHING like the photo, in fact she looks like she barely got a change. See attached photos. Basically we initially nicely asked Kenny if she can return to get some more highlights. This is where the problem begins. Myself nor my Mom didn't care about the work itself. My mom actually really liked Kennys attitude and personality and wanted to continue to see him. Kenny for no reason gives soooo much attitude to have her come in for a fix up. He makes it extremely difficult and we settle for a date like a month later because he's so busy though its shocking b/c when scheduling her initial appt he had availability the week of! So day of appt comes, my Mom is driving there for her appt at 12pm and kenny calls her at 11:45 to say he can only see her at 1pm, so she just sits in her car for over an hour b/c he informed her so late and she was almost at the salon. Then he see's her and says he can do additional highlights but there would be a $50 product charge, my Mom agrees. He then has the audacity to say "well actually I don't have any time today" with attitude. And my Mom basically storms off for him wasting her time! I don't think Kenny understands that he disrespected my Mother and her time is extremely valuable, she works 5-6 days a week and kills it at her career so for him to handle the situation like this is extremely unprofessional and he obviously can not stand up to his own work. This review is for Kenny!!! I've been searching for a hair stylist locally who knows how to work with my hair. He was recommended to me by my sister and he definitely delivered. I had my haut colored and cut by him. I told him I wanted a lighter color to my hair but I was afraid he wouldn't able to get it to that lighter shade in one day since my hair color was a dark brown. Let's just say Kenny was the last straw when it came to finding a stylist in CA. I drive and fly to AZ to get precision cuts from my girl Shanelle but with me working in the industry as well, the schedule is very hectic. Luckily I had saved Kenny in one of the searches and I decided to finally reach out to him. He was able to take me in the same day (thank you). He works solo as well (his own business) located inside, "From Head 2 Toez". Kenny understood my expectations with how I needed my hair to be cut. He was able to even out the lob without cutting too much length from my shortest strand and gave me beautiful low maintenance layers for every day wear. Prior to the cutting he expressed what he was going to do and made sure I was okay with everything before proceeding and actually carried out what he said he would do with my hair. He was very attentive and made sure I was okay every step of the way. I've attached a photo of the cut Kenny did below so you can see for yourself the detail in the cut. Overall, if you are looking for a stylist who will listen to what you want, you got it... it's Kenny. Been to Kenny for a cut and color twice this year. You can go see some of his work on the review for Temecula Salon and Day Spa. Many reviews and photos of his work there and his facebook business page convinced me to go give him a try. So after getting a cut and color during my fist visit, he earned my trust to ask him to add some highlights when I went to see him yesterday for a touchup and trim. No weaving in ugly stripes of bleached sections. He use the balayage technique instead to give it a more natural look. He is a man of few words, just the way I like it. If there were more stars to add I would. I came to Kenny after a terrible balayage attempt at another salon. My hair was cut badly, dyed worse and very damaged. He had a big job in front of him. I wanted to stick with a balayage style but wasn't sure if I would be able to given how terrible it looked when I came in. Not only did he fix the bad dye job but he cut and treated my hair and now it is smooth and soft like silk. I can't say enough good things about him. He takes pride in his job and didn't rush through it. He was a perfectionist and went through all of my hair to make sure he could fix and/or max the previous issues.
