An update after being a client for 3 years - Linda is still an artist! She will work with you to figure out how to get the look you want. She is also a great choice if you're not quite sure what you want - a lot of other stylists only offer 1-2 methods and maybe one brand of hair. Linda offers several methods and several brands of hair, and also puts a custom touch on it. Regarding the quality of the hair - I have always been very pleased and I think it's better quality than the hair I've gotten elsewhere for the same or higher prices than Linda charges. That said, there are different brands and types of extensions and some last longer or look nicer than others. So I went in with hopes of adding volume, prevent hair loss and more confidence after postpartum with my little boy. Honestly kinda is really nice but my hair has gone from okay to terrible. I lost sooooooo much hair with her so called cold fusion extensions which were not only unauthentic and fake hair but the beads she used were absolutely petrifying for my natural hair. Wow if I could only go back and went some where else I would have. I couldn't believe she cut off all my long hair, thinned out my already thin hair and charged me completely unfairly. Initially she charged me 900 which seemed reasonable for install,hair and highlights but then she charged me 300 more. Looks like a lot of people are giving their "first review" here. I was misled by the positive reviews which must be fake or by friends. I had a horrible experience here. I lost a bunch of hair due to stress and life events and had been saving for extensions for awhile. They are expensive and I wanted to get good quality ones. After going to a few places I found This one and chose it bc of the price and the "reviews" and I so regret it. I'm a single mother and I spent 1,100 on what looked like costume hair attached to my hair. It was was the cheapest grossest kinky hair and smelled like burning. I didn't even know what to say initially so I said wow thanks and went home and cried. She didn't cut anything but the front area to frame my face and the rest of it looked absolutely ridiculous. I had dark brown hair and then black plastic looking smelly wavy extensions like an extra mullet layer. How anyone could send somebody out of their shop looking like that is beyond me. I ended up taking them all out right away, I've never tried to get them professionally again because I was scarred, I put my own in and even doing it my first time they looked 100 times better and were more manageable. I wish I had just gone to one or the nicer salons in San Carlos instead of trying to save money but I just really trusted the yelp reviews which are clearly all fake. The owner is nice enough in person. but when you're cheating people and putting SHEIN/dollar store quality hair in the hair how nice are you actually. She also didn't want to hear it when I was upset and I got the feeling she was used to people complaining. I wish I had pictures to show evidence or the nightmare but I erased them because of how upset I wqs that when I finally had saved up to get extensions I was taken advantage of. I've heard about Linda so many times but have personally never went. I've been told that she does really good extensions and a couple of friends have went to her. I decided to go to her after I went to a salon to get a digital perm. I went to this original salon near the area. My hair was so long and pretty. I was told that after getting a perm I would have to cut most of my hair off and that the texture of my hair would not be the same. I was okay with that and kind of expected to take off inches. I was willing to sacrifice because my hair already had a mind of its own anyway. I went ahead to proceed and ended up leaving not with the hair I wanted and literally probably 7 inches cut off. It was horrible I like almost wanted to cry. I told my friend about it and she automatically said go to Linda. I searched her up and didn't hesitate to call. She was able to accommodate and have me come in the same day to take a look at my hair. I made an appointment right away and LET ME TELL YOU!!!!! Oh my God. Complete opposite of what was told to me. I don't know why I didn't come to her sooner. I came in and felt like I was talking and catching up with a friend I had known for years.
