She ended up parting my hair on the side and now I have to use my golf clubs to keep the women off of me and look forward to my GQ photo shoot! I had a referral from a friend who recommended Macie Ford. The day of my appointment everyone at the salon was super nice and friendly. Macie was a very pleasant stylist and super sweet. The 1st appointment I just received a wash, trim and style and she did a great job. I scheduled to have highlights done. I had texted Macie a couple days prior with some questions. NO response. I just figured she was busy. I went in for my appointment and she told me that "she thought she had hit the send button". No big deal. She did a great job with my color that appointment. At that appointment (6/19/24) I scheduled my next appointment for 8/22/2024. On 7/25/24 I messaged her to see if she had a sooner appointment the week before 8/22/24 because that week I was going to be out of town with work. She messaged back and gave me 8/14/24. My family had a planned beach trip to MB the week of 8/3-8/10. However, at the time I booked my hair appointment for 8/14/24, We did not know that hurricane Debby would form and dump 15+ inches of rain across the state of SC. So our resort let us reschedule until the following week 8/11-8-18 which would have ran into my scheduled appointment with Macie on 8/14/24. I messaged her on 8/6/24 (a weeks notice) explaining our trip was rescheduled and I needed to reschedule my appointment. NO response! On 8/8/24 I called and left a voicmail. NO call back. 8/14/24 I put a "?" Emoji on the previous text I had left her. Still NO response. On 8/19/2024 I sent another text and said "hey did you forget about me again". Today is 8/28/24 and still NO response back at all. She honestly took me by surprise because like I said, in the salon she was super nice and sweet. At this point, I feel like she did not want nor need my business. I understand we all get busy and have home obligations but I should not have to chase you down to schedule or reschedule an appointment. As a professional you should respond in a timely manner. Something is missing with her work ethic because as we all know the younger generation are always on their phones! read more

I would never recommend Darlene to anybody I went to her and she over processed my hair so bad that it was fried falling out and I had bald spots on top my head. she try to cover it up by cutting it short and hiding the top of it. She never apologize and she did charge me over $100 I didn't realize it until I got home what she did. she overbooked people and keeps them under the dryer while she's doing other peoples hair. I know three other people that she did the same thing to them if she did to me. I had went to my dermatologist he looked at my hair and he said that she actually burn my hair follicles, and it might not grow all the way back. She should not be doing peoples hair. read more

Found this place on the web. I called from VA and was able to schedule an appt. with Macie. She took the time to talk to me and hooked me up. Macie our stylist and was an amazing young and professional lady. She was so sweet and took the time with my mom. Found Hair Kutts online for a friend's wedding, made an appointment a month in advance just in case. Salon confirmed with me via text a week before my appointment, thanks for that! Kristan was assigned as my stylist and she was just the sweetest person. THANK YOU so much for keeping my appointment on the books even though i was really late. Freak accident on our way there but she was nice enough wait for me. She was very welcoming and I was very comfortable. Kristan was very attentive and made sure my hair was exactly like I wanted. I went to another salon and asked for an inverted bob. My hair was past my shoulders long and somehow she managed to get it wrong. (Though she was nice, she just didn't know how to manage my thick curly hair; which is unfortunate) I went to Hair Kutts hoping for a miracle. I was able to be seen by Bailey and she not only was amiable, but was able to do everything in her magical hands to fix the damage and come as close to my desired look with a broken canvass. I left the salon glowing and feeling confident and beautiful. I'm pleased to say that I finally found my salon in High Point. It only took me over a year. Lol. From now on and will continue to request Bailey. Prices are affordable and the salon itself looks amazing. And, it's right next to Tea Time which is a win win! Go get ya self some tea and a fresh do! I came out of the salon with a too-short and butchered hair cut and huge spots all over my head where she did not highlight. Ive been getting my hair the same way for 5 years and not even the High Point Beauty Institute messed it up as much as here. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because the service was great and they are super nice and friendly people. I was quoted $95 for a full foil but decided on a partial to save money and was still charged the full $95. This was the owners daughter who must not have gone to any beauty school to learn the basics such as angling and highlighting. Great salon for little old ladies (there was many there), but not for blondes with high expectations. read more

I moved to High Point from NJ in January and I've been looking for a place to get my hair done for a while. I came across the Hair Kutts Salon website and I was instantly interested. I'm very picky with who does my hair, especially highlights because it's bleach. So I walked in on a Friday and asked how much for highlights and a trim and I was told 120. A little high for what I'm used to but most places around here are higher (150-160). But I was able to schedule an appt for the following Tuesday. I was sooo excited. They really make you feel at home at Hair Kutts Salon. They're all so nice and genuine. Everyone was complimenting the length of my hair, which really made me happy because I've been trying to grow my hair for so long. Anyway, by the time she got all the foils in I was thinking it was going to be way more than 120 based on how many foils there were in my hair. In NJ most places are priced based on the number of foils and how long your hair is. But it ended up only being 95. That made my day! I got very heavy highlights and a trim and it was only 95. This is definitely my new hair salon!! Kristan is awesome and I highly recommend her and this salon!!! read more
