You know how when you go get a haircut and tell them you only want 2 inches off but instead you somehow end up with 6 inches off? That doesn't happen here at Hair Pro. Julie has been cutting my hair for several years now and I've been loyal to her since the first time. I used to HATE getting haircuts. I used to be in the worst mood every time my mama forced me to get a haircut but once my mama found Julie, haircuts weren't so bad anymore. For less than $20 for a cut, that price can't be beat especially since my hair comes out looking exactly the way I want it every time. You have to tell her exactly what you want and she will do just that. She's also very pleasant to talk to. Great service. It's not your fancy, upscale hair salon so don't come in here expecting that. Came here once and had a guy do my hair, he was amazing! But I think they have a newer older women who's Caucasian? Not sure I don't want to assume. She was so aggressive she hit me with the comb a lot, had the blow dryer on my forehead for so long it started to burn I had to move just to get it off. Her work was extremely sloppy & fast. Nice but they really price gouged me. I made the mistake of telling them I wasn't from around here so I think they either didn't care or, worse, this is their standard? I brought my daughter in for a wash, trim and I wanted them to braid her hair: two braids like pig tails. They said they could do it. I was getting my hair washed and styled when they were braiding her hair. The style of braid isn't what we wanted but we wouldn't have minded if it hadn't been so horribly bad and falling apart. They asked this lady who told her boss she had to leave for her dentist appointment to do it "real fast" before she left...and this was the result. Sloppiest job I have ever seen. When I came back to the chair she was nearly finished braiding I didn't say anything bc it was clear she was frazzled and didn't have time to redo it. She left in a hurry bc she was already late for her dentist appointment she told her boss she needed to go to...then I told the lady we didn't like the braid and she ignored me and charged me $65. Wash and dry for me and then whatever just happened to my daughter's head there....I'm happy with my wash and dry but obviously we took those braids out. It was a combination of poor technique and poor management to ask someone who needed to leave to do that and also bad business to then charge so much. read more

This is not my normal place to get a hair cut but I use Hair Pro when I need a quick hair cut. Every time I go here I am always warmly greeted and the wait times are under 10 minutes even on busy days. The hair stylist is always friendly and pays attention to what you tell her to do. She does not go off and experiment on you. She give you the cut you ask for and makes you look good. If you are in need of a great hair cut at a great price then you should try Hair Pro out. I don't know about the other ladies but the lady who cut my hair & 'styled' my hair did not want to be there. The hair cut wasn't horrible. I've had a worse haircut before. But it's also not a top notch salon so what can you expect right ? I would give it a two but the price wasn't horrible. I just wish I didn't pay for the 'styling'. I should have known not to get my haircut by her when I sat down and she was about to cut my hair as soon as I walked in, dry! That's a first sign you're not getting a good hair cut. Every great stylist knows you don't do a haircut on dry hair so if I wanted my hair washed so they cut it I had to get cut and 'style'. I got a long layered hair cut and she decided she would straighten my hair WTF?! who straightens a layered cut?! I also didn't ask for my hair to be straightened I asked for it to be 'styled'. My hair was all flat and looked thinner. I like volume! But she didn't bother ask. I did go in the store today, the Vietnamese lady treated me so well, i got my hair done and washed with shampoo, she did a great job with washing i have ever seen, i had been many hair salon but not like this. I went to this place today wanting a spiral perm. Yes I was greeted nicely all the way until they took my perm rods out and my hair was totally messed up. Then I was told to sit down while the stylist combed my hair. I was so upset. At first she said I could come back and they would fix it until I told her I wasn't paying until it was done right. My hair was completely straight on top and curly, not spiral curls, on other areas of my head. I think they were rushing my hair because they had other customers and weren't paying attention.Then I was told to leave and the owner of this Hair salon came and I showed him my hair and he even was very rude and told me to call the police. He yelled at me and told me he had been in business for a long time and I needed to leave. I was already outside. If someone screws up your hair totally, they should have an obligation to fix their screw up! Also they should own up to the mistake and try to be courteous and find a solution! They also had one of their friends in there that got up in my face screaming at me for being upset with my hair. Wth! Not recommending this place.
