Lori is the most unprofessional person you will ever speak to. You can already see the pure unprofessionalism within the comments she has left on these reviews. She is very stubborn and argumentative and NEVER wrong (sarcasm). I made an appointment, and it was magically canceled. Called to figure out why and I was told I'd be called back in 15 minutes because the front desk lady was a new employee. Nobody called me back. I called again and was told I'd be called back in 1 hour. Nobody called me back. 7 hours later I received a call from Lori, she told me they tried to call me twice to confirm my appointment, so they canceled it (they never called). I told her it's pretty unprofessional to constantly tell someone you will call them back within an hour, but never actually call. She told me that I should be grateful that she even called (7 hours later). She spent the whole phone call yelling, not letting me speak, under minding everything I said. Some of the worst customer service you will ever get. Let it be known, if you book an appointment with this place, 1. When you book your appointment, they will NOT warn you that they will call you twice for confirmation. 2. Chances of getting called to confirm your appointment is a toss-up, because they never called me. 3. If they say they are going to call you back in 15 minutes, just expect a call 7 hours later. 4. Just a strange vibe all around. No ill will; everyone is like 19, the hair I saw leave (if any - always vacant) is bad. My braids never held up. I felt bad saying anything. They don't lift hair well and it's just a bad salon. It's sad inside. read more

Great salon! Staff are all friendly and do great work! Fun environment and what you want is what you get! I had another appointment scheduled with a salon twice, they canceled on me both times and I was going to a girls night out and really wanted my hair done. I called desperate to find someone to style my hair and they got me in!! I was with Ashley Smith and she did exactly what I wanted. The cut is so great, I actually like my color now! My husband did my color. She is so easy to talk to and will make sure you are happy with the result. I asked for long curtain bangs, face frame and long layers and got just that. Went here a couple weeks ago to get my boyfriend a haircut and the girl did an amazing job. Fast forward to saturday we decided to go back because he wanted it shorter and we felt like we could trust the place with a simple haircut. So we arrive and this time it's with a different girl, no big deal so we thought... He told her a pretty detailed idea of what he wanted and we all seemed to be on the same page. After about 15 or so minutes i show her a picture me and my boyfriend both agreed on prior to the hair cut just to give her a visual representation that also matched the description of what she was told that he wanted. By the end of his haircut you could tell the girl knew she messed up because she kept saying " it will get better once it grows out " and " i cut it this way so it looks better once it grows out" and that's a nice way of saying sorry i messed up your hair. Instantly when i saw his hair i knew he was mad because it's was extremely short and the complete opposite from what we had asked for and he was embarrassed of his hair and didn't even want to go out in public because it was so bad. This would have been a good experience again if the stylist did not decide to do her own thing and disregard what she was told. read more

So disappointed. My sister had a consultation for box braids today that she was very excited for after seeing all of the great reviews for this hair salon. Upon walking in she was rudely greeted by an employee asking if she had an appointment in a monotone voice. My sister said yes and the employee looked at her computer like she was just learning how to use it, and asked my sister in a condescending manner if the appointment was for today as if my sister didn't know the date. My sister replied that she was sure it was for today and showed her the appointment confirmation on her phone. Once she did that, the employee realized it was for a consultation and not an actual hair appointment, although she would've come to that realization sooner if she would have been asking questions that make sense. Luckily another employee stepped in and took my sister to a chair for her consultation, but unfortunately even that experience was very disappointing. There was another blonde employee who I assume was the owner after doing some research and didn't speak to my sister once even though I am sure she could hear the way her employees were very emotionless and rude towards my sister, who was looking to spend her hard earned money at their salon. All the owner did was come and sit at the computer while her clients hair was processing and slap a card on the counter without saying a word while the employee who did my sisters consultation wrote down information in case my sister wanted to make an appointment (which she will absolutely not be doing after this treatment). While all of this was going on, the employee (dark hair, blue eyes) had greeted another client outside and had completely changed her demeanor when walking in with him and the coffee he brought which was very interesting considering how rude and off-putting she was just minutes before that. My sister has social anxiety so she wanted me to come with her and I am very happy I did so I could witness this interaction and write this review and hopefully save other people from an encounter such as this. Very disappointed and hope that this was just an off day for everyone working there and they are not normally like this. read more

Beautiful salon! Walking in and was greeted by the gals working there. I went in for a haircut and I am pretty picky about my hair but my hairstylist (I think her name was Emily?) knocked it out of the park! She didn't take too much off as I'm trying to grow my hair and gave me such beautiful layers. She also taught me how to style my hair so I feel more confident in trying to curl it ! I'm incredibly upset with this salon. I went back in February. I wanted to go a grey ombré. My hair is incredibly dark so I know it's a process and that I wasn't going to get there after one visit. I wanted to take my time to write a review because I wanted to be fair and give them a chance to make it right. But here I am 5 months later and have finally made up my mind. Let's start with my experience there. I had walked in at about 11:30 for my appointment with Lola and we did not get out till past 8, I believe. The chairs were soooo uncomfortable to sit in for that long. It was pretty painful towards the end, but beauty has a price right? So not only was I uncomfortable, but I was starving!! I wasn't offered anything, there were no breaks or a chance to grab something as I can't exactly walk out of the salon. I didn't know this would take this much time. So I won't exactly blame them for my hunger, but for next time, if a client is in that long why not offer them some snacks? Or ask how they're doing? Give them a break to eat or something! Aside from that while Lola was working on my hair, I got the feeling she was still learning as both her manager and her coworker began critiquing her. Which again, I was okay with. Someone has to learn somewhere. But then it went from helping to micromanaging. The owner was dictating EVERY move. Even when Lola did not necessarily agree or wanted to try another avenue. Then it got to the point where I was starting to feel rushed. I had multiple people working on my head at the same time. I'm all for team work, but when it's rushed, guess what? There's a lack of consistency in quality. I have a dark patch of hair towards the end of my hair where it wasn't bleached. That could have been avoided with attention to detail. There was just too many people trying to do one thing. When they finally finished lifting my hair was a brassy Orange! Which again, is expected when you bleach your hair. I knew I'd have to let my hair rest before I could bleach again, but there was no way I was walking out like that. I had asked for a toner, and I was then persuaded to try a rose gold color. I agreed as Lola sounded to excited. Little did I know this would cost be an extra $90. I was charged for 3 bottles when they only used two. Then hear we go again, I had multiple people working on my hair at the same time. The owner and Lola. Lola was taking her time, but the owner? She was rushing through it as the salon was closing. The owner finished her half and left. Once the color was rinsed off I started to see the inconsistencies. The sections the owner had done were light and barely noticeable color. However the sections Lola had done with bursting with color. I noticed it even more the day after in the sun. There is just so much inconsistency in my hair. I appreciate that Lola stayed super late and that my appointment had ran way longer than any of us expected. However, a $320+ bill for hair that is inconsistent is outrageous. I had later voiced my discontent with Lola and she said she would help get me to where I was as she wanted me to be happy. I appreciated that and still felt as if I could trust her. Then Covid happened and we had to be quarantined. I still kept in contact with her through the months asking if I should try different toners in between to help the brassy in my hair. The rose gold had washed out completely by like the third wash. What a waste of money. She told me not to try any other toners as it would affect the bleaching process. So I've left my hair as is. I try to keep it up or curl it as I'm very self conscious of its current state. I was jst waiting for the salon restrictions to be lifted so I could get my hair fixed. Now that the salon is open and I reached out to her, she kindly referred me to her coworker as she said she wasn't comfortable doing my hair because I wasn't happy with the out come. So here I am, upset. Upset because now I'm jst feeling like I'm being cast away. As a customer I do not feel cared for, heard, or acknowledged. I paid $300+ to keep my hair in a permanent bun or pony tail to hide all the inconsistencies. I've worked in a similar field. Customer satisfaction is my number one priority, and if I didn't get it right with a client, guess what? I would do everything in my power to achieve customer satisfaction. Why? Because a happy customer means they're going to come back. A happy customer means the business will continue to grow. Customer satisfaction is so vital to a small business. This is again why I waited so long to write a review. I wanted to see if they would make it right by me, and they didn't. I'm disappointed that I waited this long in hopes of getting my hair fixed. I'm the type to always believe the best of someone, and that's what I had believed with Lola. Unfortunately, I was let down. Therefore, I won't ever return. read more
