Dear Owner of Halal House, Please fire your employees who were working on May 10, 2021 around 7:00 to 8:00 pm. The chicken and gyros were very dry and they did not add any sauce to my order (had three meals). Furthermore, the music was very loud. I have received many texts from Halal House regarding their delivery, my order was almost $50 for two plates before discount with delivery. Which would be fine if the food actually arrived on time. Here we are 30 mins after scheduled delivery, over a hour since I placed the order, three times I've called the store and asked Luis about the status. They had no idea how to help me. They asked me to come pick it up. After paying $7 to deliver. I won't make this mistake again. So disappointed. Delicious food and very nice people. I had the build your own plate as a salad. Everything was delicious. I added about every spicy thing they had on the menu and it did not disappoint. In the future I might skip the hot sauce because it is a very vinegar heavy sauce which overpowered everything else (but that was my own doing). The gentleman running the restaurant was very nice and explained everything to me. There was seating there but I ended up taking it home. It was packaged very nicely. Fantastic solo shop, highly recommend. The guys that own and work here are incredibly nice and passionate about making food to satisfy their customers. The platters are solid, great gyro in the same vein as Halal Guys. Their chicken sandwich is top tier. It's perfectly crispy on the outside while the inside in tender and juicy. Although the food was good, I was very displeased with the way some employees wore their masks. The owner(?) had it below his nose while talking to us, and literally under his mouth at some points while making the food. He also kept touching his mask to adjust it and then touching the food without changing gloves. A female employee had the mask on correctly and a younger male employee had it below his nose. There were also wires with small light bulbs on the floor near the entrance. I'm sure they were moving things around, but it seems like a safety hazard. I have never seen someone in food service wear their mask and gloves so improperly. I hope they change this in the future, but I will not be coming back. read more
