I had to place a pretty last-minute order (about 2 hours before pickup), and this place came place came through. I ordered the jerk chicken and gyro with rice and a mix of sides (feta, corn, onions, lettuce, and beans), all recommended by Ahmed -- and everything turned out amazing. The food was flavorful, fresh, and ready exactly on time. The recommendations were spot-on and everyone loved it. The portions were generous, and cost was reasonable. For dessert, we had the caramel stuffed churros. They normally come with a hazelnut drizzle, but due to a nut allergy, we skipped it -- and they were still incredible. In fact, it was the first to go. We had leftovers, and we all fought over them. What really stood out was the service. Ahmed was super helpful with recommendations, and even helped load everything into my car, which was super helpful. Highly recommend if you need flavorful halal Mexican food, even on short notice. A dream come true to have this close to my house! Went for the first time today, and it was at an hour between lunch and dinner time, so I didn't expect things to be fresh. But, everything was very clean, fresh, and beautiful! The staff are very friendly and let us try the different protein options. They were all so good that it was hard to choose. Went today for the first time and was very impressed by the service and the food. It was super easy to order and I really appreciated them allowing me to try their protein options before choosing one for my bowl. I ended up picking the house chicken and it was amazing! I'm gonna definitely need to have this at least once a week I've already planned to go back with friends. I used to love cava and was disappointed by their ongoing support for you know what, but this place beats them by a million. It's been a decade since I lived in NYC, but this lamb over rice brought me back. Lamb is perfectly cooked and seasoned. Rice is yellow and flavorful. The white sauce brought it all together. I went to halal papi for the first time on Monday. By Saturday I had gone 3 times. Over those 3 trips I have tried 4 meats and nearly every topping, sauce, and add-on available. Every single one is distinct and delicious. I can tell they put a ton a thought into everything they put out. The service is super friendly and welcoming. It's all right in front of you so there is nowhere to hide it. The restaurant is very clean and well kept which is also a bonus. Now on to the food. I had a pita and my wife had a bowl and both were absolutely delicious. Since it was our first time the owner let us mix meats so we could try a little of everything. It was all fantastic. I told the owner next time I'll have to get the churros and he just cooked one up for us on the spot. Absolutely will be getting one every time now. It was one of the best I have ever had.
