Food was good but they did not include utensils in our delivery order. Wish I had known the tzatziki, hummus, and baba ganoush come with pita. We got 3 bread orders and ended up throwing them out. The chicken kabob was definitely the best item and the shrink appetizer with lemon was excellent as well. The chicken shawarma was not as tender or tasty. The dips were all good and I like their garlic toum. Pretty quick order processing via Uber Eats. Can't speak to the ambiance because we got the food delivered.

Lebanese Taverna: proof that dreams + hummus = success. What started as a family story of hopes and hustle is now a thriving empire of deliciousness, and I, for one, am grateful. We went with the Taverna Sampler and the Chef's Sampler because moderation is for amateurs. Every dish was like being adopted by a warm Mediterranean family--flavor hugs all around. The For Figs Sake cocktail? Life-changing. I now want figs in everything, including my morning cereal. The Refresh, Repeat cocktail was basically summer vacation in a glass--sip, sigh, repeat. Dessert was a spiritual experience: baklava rolls with ice cream. Crispy, gooey, sweet, creamy--it's like dessert Olympics, and this one won gold. Paired with an espresso that basically said, "I got you, champ." Now, the ambience--cozy, glowing, and buzzing with just the right level of lively chatter. You know that perfect hum of people having a good time, where it feels festive but you don't have to scream your order at the server? That's the sweet spot. It feels both upscale and homey, like you could come here in date-night shoes or in your "I just need hummus" sweatpants and still fit right in. 10/10, would happily move in if they let me.

This place is really good. I had the beef and lamb shawarma and it was absolutely PACKED with meat, delicious! The appetizer is a dish of hot, fresh, delicious pita bread and a small bowl of some sauce, and you can buy a bowl of hummus. Drinks and other appetizers are just OK. There is a bar, sit-down area, and outside as well. Waiters are either super friendly or nonexistent.

This Lebanese Taverna is averaging a 3.5-star rating on Yelp, and that's right on the money. We made a reservation on OpenTable in advance, but it really wasn't necessary - plenty of seating was available for a weekend dinner. Service was curt and not the warmest. Drinks were not refilled, and anytime we needed anything, we had to flag service down. Food was tasty overall and prepared quickly. The meal started off with complimentary pita bread, which was hot and fresh from the oven, and came with a sesame seed and za'atar spiced olive oil for dipping. Entrees were good portion sizes and were fair for the price (considering the area). The Chef's Platter is a great sampler of Lebanese cuisine. It also had cute presentation ~ this dish caught everyone's eye and will definitely be ordered next visit. It also pairs well with the pita bread. Aside from the dips, it's not really meant to serve as an appetizer for sharing. The Shawarma (beef and lamb) sandwich was a hefty portion of meat (they really STUFFED this thing with meat) and comes with your choice of a salad, rice, or fries. Though it is served with tahini, I would've preferred a garlic sauce or tzatziki. The shawarma sandwich was adequate but nothing to write home about. It comes in the same type of pita provided at the beginning of the meal. We were celebrating a birthday, and management was kind enough to provide a small dessert to the birthday girl on the house, which is always a nice gesture. They do offer a military discount, but it's only available on weekdays (corporate rules, apparently). Though food was good, I'm lukewarm on service - 3.5 stars.

We have been here so many times and the service has horrible. Inez was not friendly. The portion size are smaller. It is still a nice little to come relax.

Had the most delicious dinner at Lebanese Tavern Pentagon in Pentagon City. We recommend the following: -Mixed Kabob plate with chicken, lamb, Lebanese rice pilaf and roasted vegetables. The creamy garlic sauce that comes with it was so delicious!! -Mouzat plate is slowed cooked Lamb shank with artichoke and spicy rice. -Hommus with their freshly made Lebanese bread. The service was great with nice ambiance. There's only indoor seating. Give this place a try when in the area. Happy Yelping :)

Came here for a quick dinner with my coworker while I was in town. We ordered the hummus and I got the pita with a side salad. The hummus was amazing! I added some onto the pita and it made it super tasty. The staff here is also very nice and friendly.

We've been coming here regularly since 2018. It's def my fav restaurant in Pentagon city. The food, service and ambiance are all spectacular! Food: The food is delicious, it starts with the complimentary pita and olive oil. The entire menu is fantastic. I always get the salmon barra and chicken shawarma sandwich plus everything else below in the pics. The kids menu is supreme as well. Service: this restaurant is run very well, they have an excellent GM. The hosts are always very friendly, the servers are also quite friendly plus very efficient, you always get speedy service, food comes out fast. Ambiance: the ambiance is very elegant and relaxing. You immediately chill out as soon as you sit down. All in all, if your in pentagon city def stop by and get a taste of Lebanon!

This was where a few coworkers and I stopped for dinner this past Friday after a day of meetings. A coworker suggested this spot and it was a great find for middle eastern food! Service was also top notch; our server did not rush the group out and explained the ingredients and dishes. As it were, it was raining and we lingered a little bit for it to pass after we finished eating. Our server didn't rush us out. That definitely ensures the 5th star! Our group ate family style. We ordered a variety of appetizers & sandwiches, and we all sampled. The portions were very generous, well flavored and filling! My chicken shawarma sandwich was served on a fluffy pita bread, with a light (not overpowering) garlic sauce, fresh tomatoes and filled with tender chicken breast. With a side of crispy fries, this could easily have been a meal on its own. The fries were hot, and as good with zaatar (thyme) seasoning as well as with the ketchup brought to our table. The lentil side i ordered was also a yummy & generous portion. This hearty soup had plenty of beans and a hint of heat I enjoyed. The cool baba ganoush was a refreshing and tasty contrast. Lebanese Taverna is located in the Pentagon City mall and in line with a DC Metro station as well as walking distance of the other cafes and breweries. It's another wonderful dining spot downtown I found and I'd highly recommend as well.

The food was delicious! Really liked the flavors of the food and the service. Will be back!

The ambience is soothing and relaxing, the food was good. I started eating a Halloumi, which is a pan sautéed cheese. As main course I ordered Lamb Sharhat. In addition, I needed to try the dessert, and I went traditional with a Baklava. The service was fast and timed, enough time to enjoy first the Halloumi. I liked the taste, and overall service. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We were visiting from NYC and want to try something new. This place was easy to find and it is located near many shops. The atmosphere was energetic with lots of people enjoying their meals. The food was delicious, the bread was served warmed. We ordered the hummus and the ouzi. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the hummus was creamy. Yummy!!! I would definitely recommend that if you are visiting Washington DC stop by this spot and enjoy it!!
