I bought my brand new 2025 Bronco Sport from Haley Ford earlier this year and scheduled my 10,000 mile service and required recall with them. I dropped my car off Friday (12/19) at 10am with an appointment and was told it would be ready between 3 and 5 that day. When I checked in, I told my service rep that my USB and USB C ports were not working. He cut me off, said it would require a separate appointment, and never wrote it down or passed it along. My car sat at Haley Ford all day with no updates. At 5:30pm, I was told the recall could not be completed because it had to be installed using a USB drive, but that it "wasn't working," even though no one had documented that the port was broken. I later learned that the recall did not actually require that at all. Around noon the following day, I was told my car was ready, but when I asked what had been done, the answer was nothing. After more than twenty four hours at the dealership, neither the routine service nor the recall had been completed. My car never left Haley Ford and sat there untouched the entire time. When I attempted to speak with someone other than the original service rep, I was told no one else was available and the call ended while I was requesting to speak with a supervisor. I then took my car to Sheehy Ford, where the recall update was completed in about five hours without any issue. They were confused when I explained why Haley Ford said it could not be done. Everyone else I have interacted with at Haley Ford has been kind and helpful, and my purchase experience was great. My concerns are specifically with the service department's communication and follow through. read more

Despite having three Fords and this being the closest dealership, I have not been pleased in the past with the service department but decided to give it another try. Mistake. Showed up toward closing for a pickup, no one knew if my cars service was complete, service advisor who said she would call me back when we spoke in the afternoon had left. I was told to come back tomorrow. When I did not accept that, after a few phone calls they did realize the work was done. While the one guy manning the desk was nice, this will be my last time here. read more

When I called to make the "appointment," I told the person on the phone that I had to wait for the car. Additionally, I told them specifically where the leak was. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that they would have to work my car in throughout the day. Scheduled a recall job with Haley and when I arrived there at 9:00 AM on the day they at first couldn't find me in their system, but after the third person tried it was found. Unclear as to why this was problematic. I called at 4 PM to get status- my contact wasn't available so they said a message would be left. At 5:35 a call came in and the person said my truck was ready and they would close at 6:00. My wife and I rushed there and the service person asked if I used the outside door lock system- I don't and then he asked if I had a spare key with me and I didn't. Finally he said my key was locked in the truck- supposedly a new mechanic was responsible. They offered to drive me home and back with another key. That would take an hour and so I asked if they had a master key. After some time they claimed they did. I was encouraged to stay in the cool office while they went about unlocking the truck. Although the truck was some distance away I soon could see my service guy and the service manager getting ready to try to snag the inside lock with a long rod. I ran out and yelled at them to stop damaging my vehicle. I was getting pretty angry. I asked for a Courtesy car to go home and after a bit this was being set up until another customer needed it also. It was the only car they had and so I dropped that idea as my wife was still at the lot waiting in our car to see the outcome of this event. They then offered to pick me up from home the next day with a spare key. I Ok'd that and left the dealership. The next day I called late morning to settle for a pickup time but couldn't reach my contact as his phone message system was "full". I tried a while later and was told he was in a meeting. I ended up driving there and getting the truck. Overall a poor customer service event with messed up communications, inadequate courtesy car availability, and then seeing them try to "Break into my truck" without my approval. I dropped my truck off at the Haley Ford Collision for an insurance claim. While there I said I had a leaking tire that was slowly losing PSI. They sent the truck over to Haley Ford Service to get the tire fixed. When I picked up the truck the PSI showed 20; the check tire light was still on. I didn't have time that day to get the unit in at Haley Ford so I scheduled another appointment with Haley Ford Service. Well, they just told me that the tire had since the last time at their shop (2 weeks prior) had got another puncture and I would owe another $33 for another patch. This of course after they tried to sell me another tire. This is the definition of company looking out for their bottom line at the expense of the customer. Do not go here. Do not buy here. Save yourself the trouble. They clearly are trying to figure out how to save tech time by double charging me for something that wasn't fixed the first time. read more

GM Levar and Service Mgr John O'Toole tried in the end to make this right but overall the entire experience cannot be salvaged. What was a simple two rims, two tires, tire change kit and tire pressure sensor with a four wheel alignment turned into a two week long service ticket. My car was towed in after hours on Wed Oct 23 after striking concrete debris on the highway. Thursday morning, I arrived to hand over the keys and open the repair order. It would have only taken 15-20 min for them to put the car on a lift and evaluate it for repair but they did not do this until the following Monday. My Nationwide agent tried to give them a check for the repair order but they did not have there paperwork straight and did not have part numbers. My agent returned later to give them a check. By the following Wed, I arrived a week later to get a copy of the estimate. It was incomplete and only had one rim on the estimate. I asked Mr. O'Toole if the second rim was included and he stated it was. I was assured that the repair would be done by Friday. On Thursday I had a feeling the repair would not be complete by Friday and went to see the GM... Levar discovered the second rim was not ordered and Haley then had to go back to Nationwide for additional funds. My agent then arrived to attempt to give Haley more money for the second rim but they could not find the right paperwork. After waiting an unacceptable time, the agent left and told them to call her with the final amount once they got it straight. On Friday the car was ready as they used a rim from another customers order. I arrived to pick up the car on Friday and they did not calibrate the tire pressure sensors. I did see the alignment report. The final kicker was that they never ordered the tire change kit and had to deliver it to my work on Monday the 4 of Nov. Overall, even though GM and Service Mgr tried to rectify, it appears that the way they service dept handles repair orders from start to finish is not in compliance with recommended Ford procedures. read more

long term customer (15 plus years). I spent roughly a little over 200k there over the years on new and used vehicles. I had the plugs in my 2005 f250 replaced in the end of 2020 to beginning of 2021. I left the state of Va a month later, a few months after I left I started having problems with my truck. I went to dealerships to have the service departments look at the truck to try and figure out whats is going on with it. I showed them the paper work where the plugs had been replaced. Finally after the 3rd visit a mechanic pulled the #8 plug and it was no good. The electrode was burnt off and the main body was cracked. We pulled multiple other plugs and they looked almost new. My truck had less than 10k miles on it since the plugs were changed (supposedly). I called multiple times to Haley Ford and end up calling one of the people under the main GM and told him what happened and he said the GM over service would call me back. Ben did call me back and once I told him what had happened he said it was the other dealerships fault for not finding the bad plug sooner. I know the warranty was off of the plug, but he would not even acknowledge the possibility of the service department not replacing that plug. I told him that it was obviously an accident, oversight, since I had not had any problems before. He continued to over talk me and blame everyone else. He was very argumentative and disrespectful. finally he told me his GM told him that he wanted nothing to do with me or this situation, and would not help me. He never even asked me what I wanted, or how they could help fix the situation. He just told me we were at fault. Horrible person to deal with and if what he said was true about his boss then they are a horrible person as well. I have been there a few times now and so far I have never felt good about their service. I don't get the welcome feeling when I get there. The guys who check you in seems always busy with something else while I wait in front of him being pretty much ignored till he's ready. The checkout cashier had a full lunch spread at the counter the time before when I was paying. Not very professional, I must say. This time I brought my Escape (hybrid) in for A/C checkup since it blows warm air especially on hot days and it normally takes about 20 minutes to start getting cool. Diagnosis? "There's nothing wrong. The fluids are full and it's supposed to only cool to 30 degree below the exterior temp." REALLY? Well, I guess I should thank them for not charging me gazillion dollars for nothing but you really think taking 20 minutes to get the air to cool and blowing hot air on hot days are okay? I walked into the service department at 3:10pm for a scheduled appointment at 3:15pm for an oil change. Dan Bennett, was irritated with me when I presented a coupon on my phone for $39.95. I asked him how long it would be. He said 45 minutes to an hour so I told him I had someone coming to get me. At 3:25, I received a text that said, "Just confirming that I'll update you about your Edge by text. If you have any questions while it is in our care please text me back. Thanks - Dan at Haley Ford". At 4:04pm I received a phone call from an unfamiliar number so I did not answer it. The same number called back at 4:06 so I answered and it was Dan. He said my vehicle was ready and he'd looked for me in the waiting area. I told him I was just down the street at Drewery's Bluff and I would be there in less than 10 minutes. He explained to me that they closed at 4pm and he was staying after hours for me. I apologized and told him I didn't know they closed at 4pm and was walking as fast as I could to get back to give him my debit card information. After 6 minutes, he hung up. I called him right back and he said he could only wait another minute or two. I laughed nervously because I felt bad for keeping him after hours. Then he started yelling at me "Ma'am, Ma'am, I see how this may be funny to you. It's really very funny." My response- "Excuse me?!" He proceeded to tell me that I would not be getting my car back until Monday morning if I didn't give him payment. I told him again that I was walking as fast as I could. He asked me angrily again if I was going to give him payment. So I asked him to stop being a jerk and who was his manager. He gave me the name of the manager then I gave him my card information and hung up. I worked retail for 16 years and, if someone came in close to closing, I would tell them when we closed to prevent this scenario. Mr. Bennett never mentioned they closed at 4pm and, called me AFTER 4pm to tell me my vehicle was ready. He then proceeded to get belligerent and nasty with me. He was never apologetic. I've never been spoken to so rudely by someone completely unprovoked. Once I arrived at the service department, my car was parked in the middle of the lot (not in a parking space). I would like to say that I have experience as a mechanic for over 45 years but never in my life would I ever bring my car back to Haley Ford South. I went on line Friday night and made an appointment to have a tire patched. It had two nails in it and I figured I would let them break it down and hot patch it....ummmm that's where things went bad. I dropped it off at the dealership (drop box) while it was still closed that way they could promptly start at my appointment time of 815 am. The paperwork stated they would call me.....nope that didn't happen...I tried calling the service desk but no answer...it just rings. After a couple of hours I drive over to see what is going on....this isn't rocket science either patch it or tell me you cant. I go in to talk to a service lead and there is a person running both the cashier and being service lead. He tells me that he checked it over and didn't find anything except it was low 2 lbs of air. The vehicle was good to go. I told him no it wasn't and that it had two nails in it. I told him that I marked the tire in the two spots on the outside of the tire where they were and went out to the car to show him. The nail was visible and about the size of a button. It was pretty visible...if they had actually looked. He told me that he would put someone on it immediately....I said ok...give me a call when you find out if they can be patched or not. About 45 minutes later I get a call from the same lead that the one hole can be patched but the other was too near the sidewall....so I would need to replace the tire at $270. I said ok if I need one lets go ahead and replace it. He tells me that he doesn't have one in stock and one would need to be ordered Monday. I told him that I couldn't leave it so I will just pick it up and take it home bring it back later. He tells me that I couldn't because he had removed the nails and that the spare (doughnut) would need to be put on it (for my safety). I told him no just keep the vehicle I will just figure things out.....order the tire. In the meantime I decided to call another ford dealer and ask about the tire but I needed the size, make, etc from mine so I drove to Haley Ford South. I find my vehicle parked outside, tire (same one I marked) is still on the vehicle (inflated like it was before). I also notice some marks on the underside of the back plastic guard. I got the number from the tire called the parts department they had 4 tires in stock. I asked if they could work my car in to check if they could patch my tire or if not replace the tire. He told me no problem I dropped it off. I was contacted by the other dealer 45 minutes later it was patched and ready to go. I went to get it. BOTTOMLINE: the service tech lied twice (he never inspected the tire, and that he pulled the nails out), he was going to inconvenience me by "ordering a tire Monday", and to cap things off they damaged my rear plastic cover which has to be replaced and repainted. Fool me once shame on me. Fool me twice shame on YOU! I will NEVER return to have ANYTHING done. I am done with it! read more

Dropped the truck off Monday night called Tuesday night ready 2 pick up my husband called 2 find out cost only 2 find out NOTHING had been DONE they wanted $500 JUST 2 change plugs & wires my husband had taken the air filter out & didn't put back in so after listening 2 the other things recommended he said what about the air filter the rep didn't know what he was talking about he said I was waiting 2 hear that filter was missing he said rep caught an attitude so he authorized other work 2 be done not plugs & wires "he said I can do it myself cheaper" we were told it'd be ready Wed night called Wed night only 2 be told it wasn't ready.. Found a Ford Edge online. We were shopping for a new car after one of our cars was totalled in a crash. The Edge was a color we liked and a very good price. I made an appointment to come later in the evening for a test drive. We arrived, saw our name on the appointment board. The car wasnt ready. First they couldn't find the keys, then couldn't find a dealer tag. Finally we got to leave, but..the gas tank was empty and the gas light was on, we had to make a trip to the station as part of our drive. Loved the car! Got back to the dealership, and wanted to get to the bottom line. The salesman came back w an offer approximately $15000 above the online price. When asked why so much more, I was told the car wasnt offered at the price I had. The sales manager got involved and all but called me a liar indicating Haley would not offer the specific vehicle at such a low price. I gave him the stock number etc and he continued to argue with me. Fortunately I had taken a screen shot of the Haley website. I had to drive home, empty handed to email them a copy of their own online offer. "Oh, we didn't realize the price had changed" no apology, only offered to sell the car at the online price, after wasting 3 hrs in the rain. No thanks! Dont waste your time. read more

Do NOT go here for any sort of car services! I had the worst experience of my life here. I had a warranty covered engine issue, dropped the truck off on a Thursday and they had to do the warranty paperwork and then let me know how long it would take on the following Monday, not a problem. I contact them Monday, they said it will be done in a week. I call back in a week, it's not done..I am moving out of state in 3 weeks and they said this will not be a problem it will be done way before that. Another week goes by, they say ok come pick it up Friday! I go to pick it up, still not done. This is now 3 weeks and on this last Friday my father in law flew in to drive my truck 12 hours to my new home as I followed him in the moving truck with my husband, they told me to pick it up the morning I was moving out and I thought ok that's cutting it close but I'll adjust. I go to pick it up, and it is STILL NOT ready! My husband leaves for our move and takes my car instead so that my father in law had not flown here for nothing (we were going to tow my car there originally and save the miles). I stay in Virginia for another week begging them to please fix this truck it has been almost a month, I am now living in an empty home, without my family and no car waiting on this thing. In addition, They never contact me I always have to contact them through this whole process. I finally panic because I have to leave to start my new job in another state and I have no car still, I asked if I was entitled to a rental, they said yes..well why would you not have offered me this in the first place!? They got me a free rental..the next day..4 days later..we are at about 29 days now..I get the truck..I start on my 12 hour journey out of state with my newly fixed truck and the check engine light goes on within about 5 hours of my drive and it is acting very strange. I had my husband call them the next day because I just couldn't deal with it anymore..and they said , "Sir you know check engine lights could go on for anything right?" Not only was this rude but, not the point. There are check engine lights for a reason. They told us to pay for a diagnostic somewhere and let them know what it said IOT get the deductible we paid back...Needless to say this was a nightmare please do not go here. read more

Took my Ford F-150 into them for a brake problem.They failed to tighten the lower caliper bolt which fell out and caused a dangerous condition when stopping. I tried calling and emailing but no one would respond to my inquiries. After two days finally the service manager responded and said they would replace the bolt. Very poor work by the tech and no customer service. This is not the first time they have failed to tighten things and responded with poor customer service. read more

I was on vacation and the shift cable on my Escape decided to break. I was towed here on a Friday night. They were able to check me in and call a cab so I could get back to my hotel. When I arrived the next day they were able to fit me into their busy Saturday schedule. They have a very comfortable waiting room. Unfortunately they didn't have the part I needed that day but they were able to rig it so I could get home and have it fixed later. They were polite, courteous, and professional. They helped me out in a pinch. Two days later I called to ask what part number they said I needed and Frank texted it to me right away. First rate customer service. read more

Called wednesday and inquired about the status, i hadnt heard what the price was yet and knew my appointment was monday. My service advisor was rude she said she would let me know when they would get to it. No calls that week! It took me to call the service manager to get my truck in the shop and his promise was id have it the next day. Of course i didnt. Wont be returning ever again. Im a dealer service kind of guy and ill make a trip out of the way from now on to avoid this place. People that work for customer service shouldnt be rude especially if their price is EXTRA HIGH. read more
