More than a headache, they turned buying new tires into a journey. To begin with, they sold me…read morealternative-sized tires instead of the factory-recommended ones. The car was riding less than desirable, so I went back to exchange them for the correct size. They tried to charge me for installation AGAIN, and instead of prorating the extended warranty I already purchased, they tried to charge me for a second one. I finally got the correct size tires, but they were shaking worse than the first set! I took it back the next day for them to rebalance. The salesman asked if I went to get them balanced somewhere else after I left last night. That question was so idiotic that it took me a minute to register. He said there were two different sets of weights on the rim and one set wasn't theirs; he basically admitted that this was the first time they balanced my tires, even though they were supposed to be balanced at the time of purchase. Their corporate team reached out to me after I left a Google review, stating that someone would contact me within two business days. It has been four days, and I still have heard nothing. Response to comment. That's fascinating, because I didn't have any missed calls from that location. Maybe that's the philosophy of that location? Claiming work that wasn't performed? Cody's offered to refund the difference when I reached out to ask for the GM yesterday. I suggested that he have someone come to the Ford dealership to pick up the tires for a full refund; I no longer have faith in your company's work and would rather get new tires from a more reputable business. The fact that the newly purchased tires weren't balanced at all--not just once, but twice--is more than a little unsettling. Whether it was oversight or cutting corners, it put my safety at risk while driving.

Upon arriving you walk into a little trailer, where there were 3 young girls (not hot btw), that offered no assistance, and all seemed to just completely hate their jobs and know nothing about cars. Pay your 2 dollars and your in. The website claims they have 1200 cars onsite, this is complete and utter lie, there may be 200 max, and along the treeline is stacks of crushed cars. Are they counting the mountain of already processed/crushed cars as available parts cars? I don't know but still not even close to the claimed 1200. Over half of the cars are sitting flat in the dirt! Not set up on welded spares wheels, so if any of those cars you need suspension parts, transmission, diff, or access to anything under the car it isn't possible, and they won't pick it up, move it, or pull the part for you. What is the mindset behind this??? The cars in NO sort of ORDER What-so-ever! Every yard I have ever been to has some sort of field order, They are placed in designated sections of some sort like Imports, Domestic, Ford, Honda, Trucks, Vans, etc... This place, NOTHING, you have to walk the entire yard to see what they have! Luckily you can walk this entire dump with essentially no stock in about 4 minutes. You'll see a Saturn beside a Van, beside a Boat, beside an Oldsmobile. Makes no sense. The selection of cars is the worst I have ever seen. I needed some 98-2011 ranger and explorer parts. there were 3 squarebody rangers there from the early 80's, and that is it? Seriously? I suppose the other good junk yards buy all the usable cars and Pop's only gets the leftovers that no other yards wanted to buy. The ford ranger sold 100's of millions how in the heck does a junk yard not not have a single one, NOT 1???? I have been going to ChesterfieldAutoParts (CAP), my whole life, and they never have any less than a dozen rangers and a few dozen explorers. I did see a dozen Saturns. Who the heck still has a saturn let alone fixes those piles of junk. The plastic body panels explode into shattered bits in anytype of accident and they all just get totaled never fixed. Google pictures of saturn accidents, they are hilarious. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME going to POP's, what a waste of my time. They should just close the doors now and stop embarrassing themselves.

They even offer a couple of free loaner cars available for you to avoid interruptions in transportation while your vehicle is serviced. This is one place you won't dread going to. Finally, I mechanic shop that I don't dread having to wait at. They return the car in clean condition, and you don't have to worry about them getting cigarette smell or other off doors or filth in your vehicle, which I very much appreciate. They are honest, and there are no surprises. What they say is what they do, and they make sure to explain things in simple terms so that you have no doubts about what was done or what is recommended and when.

I loved their honesty. The big issue was a sensor problem, not a safety issue, which saved us over a thousand dollars. They also took the time to explain things for a second time after having just spoken with my husband earlier on the phone. They made time to fix a minor problem, the air conditioning. On the way out we talked to two of the mechanics, wishing us a Happy Thanksgiving, and learned they also checked all of the cars fluids and made sure they were taken care of. I could tell we weren't the only happy customers because there were gifts on the counter from other happy patrons. I can't recommend them enough.
