Then I found The Rose Cottage about 35 mins away. Each month has a different theme so you'll never get tired of the menu. I went "Let Them Eat Cake" French inspired tea menu. Upon arriving I was greeted and was given a tour and the history the home (I love historical homes). I loved learning about the history of the house and seeing all the amazing craftsmanship and antiques. Quick tip- if you are looking for a specific day to visit call ahead. I called and they were booked two weeks out. I was able to get a reservation at the end of the month. The food was absolutely amazing (as was the tea of course!) The honey butter was to die for! I loved everything. The salad was so fresh and I loved the different textures and flavors. The scone was fresh and perfectly cooked. The savories and sweets were perfectly paired to to the tea.
