For the area I would recommend this place their pho broth is the best I've probably had across the country. Service wise they're very involved and personable. The ambiance is a little dated I dislike that the sauces are not on the table and you have to pay for each sauce. The reason for lacking one star would be sauce charge and that they don't offer glass noodle for sensitive stomachs. Also adding extra meat the portions were small. In the end I found that extremely disappointing for the cost and gratuity. I would eat here again given I was in the area. Notice my pho doesn't have the rice noodles because of my choice. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch (Honesdale location) with my husband, but we both found the menu a bit limited. Entrees were a bit expensive, and we weren't in the mood for Pho or noodle bowls (especially given some of the reviews) and some selections were crossed out, so we opted for appetizers. My husband ordered the mushroom tacos and chicken dumplings, while I ordered Summer rolls and vegetable dumplings. The Summer rolls and tacos were delicious and we would definitely order them again as take out. The dumplings however were quite small, a bit bland & definitely not worth $9 each serving. I enjoyed a delicious iced Vietnamese coffee, he just had water. Space is cozy and clean, service was great but we left after paying $50, which included tax, tip, and charge card fee, feeling as if we were still hungry. read more

It's an eatery; definitely didn't feel or taste authentic. They didn't even have straws. They waited until after we ordered the smoothies to say so. This is true, because they did that to the other family as well. Who wants a spoon for a drink? I went down to the Turkey Hill and got some straws. The place was cute and attractive, I'll admit. I guess this is probably a good spot for Honesdale. It's probably hard to get what's needed for a restaurant like that in that area. They had a Honesdale tax. Like, what? These were all great BUT 2 of party ordered the soups and they were so salty they were not able to eat them so they asked to be replaced with a rice bowls. Needless to say we paid for All the food even what was not eatable and discarded. High chance we would not return There is one thing when you know what not to order but when you still had to pay the price it is insane. read more

Upon seating in sticky & unmade table (none were ready) Told that they had no beef for the Pho nor any wontons (this was 1pm - they opened and it was first serving day of the week). The extremely friendly/phony waitress said they had a busy lunch? ??? It was empty...... Should have walked out -but ordered anyway because I was in the mood for Vietnamese. Prices high - quality just blah. The bowl I had was supposed to have Bok Choy - none!. Had to ask for lime and sauce. Food was warm upon arrival. Would not recommend and the extra Honesdale tax charge could not be explained by the waitress ("of course" being her favorite words).... the fact that there were no products was most disappointing. The cleanliness and warm food made it terrible. I RARELY, if ever give bad reviews. But this was so disappointing I had to write this review. I hope the owner reads this and addresses the issues. I very much like this small cafe but you just don't get much for the money. $38 incl tip for two surprisingly small Vietnamese sandwiches, light on the meat, and one soda seems not worth it. This is a review for the Livingston Manor "branch". Ok food. Terrible service. Ran my credit card and told me it would be a 20 minute wait while they baked the bread for a couple of sandwhiches. Okay I said I'll do a few errands. Server said they would call me. 45 minutes later, no call. I went back and the place was jammed, clearly they were overwhelmed. However, the server saw me and ignored me. Another 15 minute wait and she walked over and handed me a bag with the two sandwiches with no apology. I will not be back. read more
